Welcome to Sotu v.2! An all level supernatural creature role play taking place in a haven built just for the supernatural though we coexist secretly with mortals. 100 years ago, war plagued our once beautiful home, turning everything upside down till nothing but rubble and bodies remained. Life had seemed cease... The four clans, exhausted and thin in numbers, had finally given up and declared a truce between themselves, vowing never to go to a war so deadly as before, to make sure that their one and only home flourished once more.

And now, Sotu has done just that, expanding far past it's original borders and returning to it's once majestic state. Mortals have since migrated here as well, providing an adequate food supply and excellent cover for those returning to their human forms. Life has returned normal for most though old blood still has yet to allow ancient grudges grow.

Its up to you where we go from here. Keep the peace, or bring war back to our lands...

“Hey Livvy, want a wooooorm?” The smaller of the two sisters held a fat, wriggling worm between two of her fingers as she walked slowly down the street.  Ivory had always loved anything that crawled and worms were her favorite. She was just delighted by the feeling of the slimy creature wiggling and squirming in the palm of her hand. Olivia, on the other hand, hated all sorts or bugs and creepy-crawlies. They made her skin crawl; especially spiders. Ivory knew this, yet she continued to torment her sister with the disgusting insects.“Put that thing down, Ivy. It’s disgusting.” Olivia ordered, scowling at her younger sister and taking a few steps away from the girl. It was a mystery to her how Ivory had turned out to be such a tomboy. Olivia had been painting her nails and curling her hair since day one, but Ivy had still managed to take a liking to dirt and matchbox cars instead.

The two sisters had finally taken the time to venture out and about in the village. They’d recently moved to town after their father’s law firm had transferred him to an office here. And in return, their mother had also requested a transfer. So, like always, the two girls were left on their own. Olivia and Ivory were sick of just sitting around, so they decided to go out and see the sights. Ivy wanted to go straight for the park and Olivia wanted to check out the mall, which had caused them to clash heads. So, they’d compromised and decided to check out their little neighborhood instead. So far, it hadn’t been disappointing. There were a lot of supernatural beings here and few humans. That was just how Olivia liked it; there was no danger to her or her younger sister in a place with so few humans. And if danger did arise, there would be many of their kind to back them up.

“Betcha I can hold my breath for six minutes.” Ivory boasted, skipping for a few steps. Olivia rolled her eyes, used to her sister’s ridiculous antics. Rather than explain to Ivory that it was impossible to do such a thing, Olivia just turned and gave the girl a grin. “Betcha I can hold mine for seven.” She taunted, knowing that it would really get the younger girl going. If there was anything that Ivory hated, it was losing a competition. So, the two sisters walked down the street, both of them holding their breath and making faces at the other in hopes of causing someone to laugh.

(I was like why does that name sound familiar?! XD)

(NOW TIME TO POST BECAUSE I'VE BEEN SO BUSY. LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL)

Emily saw him look at the ground as he walked, obviously in deep thought and she swallowed hard. She did not mean for him to suddenly think about his family. She hadn't thought about the consequences of what she had asked and it made her thoughts quicken. What if i just caused him to think about leaving? Or if he really wanted to go home? What if he could go back and I couldn't? The last thought made tears start to form in her eyes but she blinked them away and sighed low in her throat. She was about to ask him if he was ok when he spoke. Her heart leaps a little at his first words. His voice was so soft, and quiet. She really had made him think hard about his past. She squeezed his hand and Charlie whined softly when they stopped. Emily stopped when Fao had worry clear in her bright green gaze. She saw him thinking, emotions passing his face. She had never seen so many emotions come out of Fao before. It scared her, but also excited her. Something was opening up in Fao and she was happy that it was. She was a little surprised at his last, barely audible words. "You really do? It's...good to hear that Fao. I know Kodi loves you so much." She said softly leaning up on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek and wrap her arm around his waist. She pulled him close so he wouldn't feel alone. "Come on. We can talk more when we get home." She whispered and began walking again. (If you want Fao you can post back at home ^^)

On his way to the Vampire's Estate Vlad makes his way downtown and was stopping into some of the darker and less liked and more adult oriented shops in search of something he needs before he can turn Alyssa. After stopping in on several shops he finds what he is looking for and buys the shackles and chains he would need to keep her restrained while she turned. He also picked up a collar for her to remind her she wasn't free of him even after being turned by him. As he steps from the shop he scents a feral vampire and tracks it to the abandoned building it was using as a lair. Ferals smelled of death and insanity. He makes his way up the stairs to the floor it had chosen to reside and makes his way to where it was sleeping due to the time of day and on his way through he picks up a piece of rebar. He takes hold of the feral and as it starts to try and fight him he puts the rebar through it's chest before he moves it to a room with a nice view of the afternoon sun and watches it have a massive allergic reaction to the sun as well as to the fact that it's heart was pierced. As it finally dies he leaves the building and the city to go to the Estate to speak with Constance.

Kodi didn't know what to think. One moment he was home with Mick and the next... Here. At first it seemed to be just another city in the Afterlife. He knew for some reason that it wasn't. Kodi felt it in his bones, this aching sensation that pulsed and vibrated. It had happened before and at that moment he knew. He knew where he was. All he could think about was how he was once again separated from his mate. They couldn't seem to catch a break. and to make matters even worse, Kodi had caught scent of his brother who, last he knew, wanted him dead. Just wonderful. Not only did he lose his Micky but now he had to fear for his life. If Faolan found out he was here...

Pulling his hook up he slid his ears back and tucked them against his skull as to keep them hidden. Most of the time he had a hate to help him but the hood sufficed. On occasion Kodi would go without hoping that the humans would just overlook his wolf ears and most actually did. He was truly safe only at night when they easily blended in with his jet black hair. Kodi's gaze meandered from person to person, street to shop, none of which was familiar to him. He couldn't find anything that would help him figure out what city he was in. All he knew was that it certainly wasn't the Afterlife. With a shake of his head the young Lucian rounded a corner and ducked into an alley as he searched for a place to rest. His feet were killing him.

Hours had passed, or at least that was what it seemed like to him. Kodi had managed to find a run down apartment complex which for the time being would provided decent shelter till he could figure out what to do. A whole building to himself. Kodi could shift forms and not have to worry about being seen by any humans or bothered for that matter. However, if it did occur he was capable of hiding a body or two.

Kodi paced the hallway littered with all kinds of debris which he kicked around when some got in his way. His stomach rumbled loudly as it was begging to be satisfied yet he didn't have a penny to his name and hunting was out of the question. He was clueless as to where the closest woods were and Kodi was not like his brother who hunted humans. That was where he drew the line. If needed, he was capable of killing them but he would never  consume one. A loud sigh left his lips as the male wandered towards a wall and slid down to the floor. Eventually he would have to come to a decision. He could always steal a quick meal or find a stray- Growling to himself Kodi shook his head at that thoughts he was having. Sure, at one point in his life he had done both of those things but he was past that  point and was living a far better life. Well, he did, anyways...

Rising to his feet, Kodi figured that he might as well find something to cure his boredom or at least get his mind off of this hunger. It would be night soon and then he would find food.Kodi began to shed his clothes one by one and placed them in a neat pile on and old desk, rolling his shoulders his bones began to pop and snap. Before long, a dark furred figure took his place as the Lucian male morphed into a black wolf and began to run around the condemed building.

(I hope you don't mind me jumping I just need to get back into the swing of things. ^_^)

The tapping of black boots hitting the pavement of sidewalk made a catchy beat as veronica walked steadily along with it. She typically hated to come go anywhere except on a few occasions but that was mainly it. For some reason this girl is afraid of the world around here, scared of what people would think of her. Ricky had on a grey sweat shirt with a hood that was on top of her cranium, with a pair of black leggings to go along with. Her Black hair tried to escaped its hold as it caressed down her shoulders, with her bright blue eyes flittering around only to see nothing. She gently kept her hand in her pockets, turning down any alleyway she slinked onto a step and huddled her knees together as she could hear and smell the crowds of people moving about. Veronica took a deep breath and sighed wishing see could be free from her imprisonment.

Post by Clementine LockWind September 29th 2014, 9:35 pm

She had left Grayson after she had told him she must leave. Some people were here and she just had to find them. The Lucian pet began to make her way from the woods till her feet made contact with the manmade substance that had taken away the soft earth that lay beneath. She trudged on not liking the way the hard surface felt on her feet, she was used to the dirt and the crunch of leaves not the concrete that lays beneath her. She wondered around the large city when the wind picked up swirling around her, that's when she took in a deep breath and her eyes instantly widened. Clementine gave a small "huh?" As she began to make her way. She began to move her molecules molding and bending as her ears were no longer there and a pair of wolf ears took it's place. She perked them as they began to move around and finally she heard a banging noise and a few deep breaths as well as cracking bones. Someone was shifting. Either that or someone was getting their bones stepped on.

Her ears continued to swivel in all directions as she began to rush forward to the sound. That scent so familiar she couldn't get rid of it even if she wanted to. Kodi. The Kodi she had fallen head over heels for but knew she would never be good enough. She was just a pet, decoration for the family. He had his own family and didn't need her, Faolan had his own family and he didn't need her either. She was just left there whining when no one answered her. No more kids to play, no more pets, scratches, hugs, and wet kisses. Clementine was alone, for so long she had been with a companion someone who would enjoy her company but after the Lucian family it wasn't the same. She wasn't the same.

They knew about her true form so why bother having her around when they knew she wasn't a real dog she could fend for herself. Her pace began to slow as she thought about everything and finally her feet had brought her to an abandoned house of some sorts. She maneuvered along the area as she sniffed once more her DNA changing as her ears returned back to normal. The shapeshifter watched as a large wolf began to make his way around the area and she slowly maneuvered. Her form wasn't hidden in fact as the wolf was turning the corner she steadied herself in front of him. Bright purple gaze fixated on the black wolf. The expression on her face held agony and disappointment, "Kodi..." The young women whispered softly. She eased her feet and then twirled around her back to him blonde hair sweeping around her lean hips as she rushed off.

She moved without hesitation and she disappeared around the corner not knowing if he would follow or not. As she waited for his next move she moved her form and sat down her butt against the pavement as she squeezed her legs to her chest. Head placed against her knees, he probably wouldn't recognize her or maybe it would take her by surprise and he would he was after all the first person to really see her in her true form.

Being able to release this form felt so good as it had been such a long time since he had last shifted and was able to run about freely with not a single worry. This town was strange and the male had not a single clue where a safe enough forest was; all of this was uncharted territory for him. Kodi had about a million things running through his mind right now and little time to get everything straightened out. The male paused to scratch behind his ear and took a moment to listen to the sounds around him. There was the sound of steady traffic, passerby talking and some shouting, nothing inside the building that he could tell so far. Still, just to be safe he stayed absolutely still and alert. A heartbeat. He could barely hear it, but it gradually became louder. Someone was in the building too. Kodi wondered if someone was working on the building like a maintenance man. Soon enough, the scent hit him; it was a woman he could tell and there was just something about it that was so familiar... The male suddenly felt the need to follow it and took off down the long hallway towards the aroma only to come to an abrupt stop.

Kodi looked up at the young woman who had appeared in front of him and who also looked like she was about to crumble, she spoke his name and a chill ran down his spine. It was like he was looking at a ghost. She disappeared and he was still frozen where he stood. No... She was dead. He knew that much. That couldn't have been Clem. It took him an eternity to wrap his mind around it and as he did the male finally snapped out of it and took off in a run, sliding around the corner where she had disappeared to and found the girl to be against the wall on the floor. She looked like she was living... Was she? Did she somehow end up down here too? Kodi ran forward and all but ran into the girl nosing her with several whines."Clem...? Clem is that you?" He asked with another long whine ears and tail low as he shifted to lay down next to the woman.

Clementine slowly pulled her gaze upwards as she saw the large wolf began to bound it's way over towards her. She just starred at him, purple gaze mesmerized by the wolf's form. She watched as his pace quickened and instantly smashed into her form. At first she just starred at him, his wet nose against her smooth and sun-kissed skin. Blinking softly she slowly brought her hand upwards and ran them through his fur. Bringing the wolf closer towards her she wrapped her arms around his thick neck. The cold air rushing past them but she wasn't cold anymore. Clementine's ears perked as he had said her nickname and she smiled softly, "Yes, it's me." Her Australian accent thick and she felt a small tear drop from her eyes and land against the wolf's dark fur, "Kodi..." She whispered again, fondly, "Why did you leave me?" She asked softly, "I've been so alone... Why would you leave me alone?" Her voice strained.

She had placed a hand on top of his head as he continued to whine and laid beside her. Clementine's hair fell in her face as she looked away. Straight at the other wall she soon paused as she heard voices. Hundreds of them as she grabbed at her head and began to scream, "Please stop, just stop talking!" She cried as tried so hard to tune them out sometimes it would go away in a few minutes sometimes hours, this time it only lasted about a few seconds. She looked up to see a few bodies infront of them. She blinked at each individual and then closed her eyes breathing in and out and once she opened them they were gone. She turned towards Kodi, "I-I think I see dead people..." She whispered and then gave a small cry, "I'm going crazy..." She said to herself mostly and shook her head.

Downtown Area - Page 8 Empty Re: Downtown Area

Post by Kodi R. Lucian November 9th 2014, 10:35 am

The ebony male continued to give high pitched whines of happiness as she confirmed that she was in fact the one and only Clemmy, oh how his tail wagged. He couldn't contain himself. Kodi covered her face in licks all but tackling the other. It had been so long since he had last seen his best friend and he missed her dearly. The words that flew out of her mouth next put all of his excitement to a complete halt and immediately did he sink down to the floor with ears low against his skull. That hurt. That really hurt. His black lips pulled into frown and he couldn't even look at her for quite some time. Kodi shook his head gently,"I... I didn't mean to, Clem." He started out quietly."I was looking for Micky  and well, I ended up down here again. It was never my intention to leave you. How could I ever do that to my best friend?" Finally bringing his gaze back up, he looked her in the eyes with his own sad grey ones and whined again before resting his head in her lap. It wasn't like him to leave anyone behind and she was more like family than anything. They had taken her in after all and cared for her just like one of their own. The silence was broken abruptly when she let out a scream which caused the male to leap to his paws and move away, eyes wide as he watched her. Did she hate him now? Or not believe him? He didn't understand what was the matter. Kodi lowered his body into a submissive posture as he kept his gaze on the shifter."I'm s-sorry..." He apologized quickly. What caught him off guard was her response. He cocked his head in confusion and tried to piece things together. So it wasn't because of him... That was a relief. Kodi moved back to her side and and licked gently at her cheek as she cried.''You're not crazy, Clemmy. Its probably just because this is your first time returning to Earth." He assured her and nuzzled the shifter.

Post by Clementine LockWind November 23rd 2014, 3:42 pm

Clementine had continued to feel his rough tongue against her cheek. She just kept looking in front of her where mutations of people were starring at her all saying, "Help" their faces were twisted with anger, sadness, goosebumps rose on her arm as she watched them. Eyes held with fright she looked away down towards the wolf who had settled against her side. As he had began to whine her eyes traveled towards him once more. She slowly moved her hand against his form wrapping them in his thick coat. Her hands instantly melting the coldness away, he was like a heater. She listened to what he had to say as he brought Micky up she looked swiftly away. Sure she was Kodi's first but she had left and Clementine had stepped up. She wished his memory was still gone, selfish, but that's what Clementine wanted. She didn't look at him the rest of the time as he began to express how sorry he was. Though, ever so slowly, her eyes fell against the large wolf as she cleared her throat, "I've learned 'sorry' is just a word to make your guilt subside so you can feel better about yourself." She whispered

Moving her eyes off of him to return to the figures that mocked her, they kept whispered that he wasn't sorry, he came here to find someone else; she just happened to be here. She grabbed her head, "It's not true..." She whispered and they continued to terrorize the poor shapeshifter. Clementine brought her knees tighter to her chest, shivering but luckily the alley had blocked most of the wind. Though the ghost continued to get closer causing her breath to puff smoke like a dragon. She shivered, teeth chattering, she looked around in awestruck then slowly they began to disappear. Giving a small sigh in relief she barely heard Kodi as he said that she wasn't going crazy but the side effect from being on earth. She turned her gaze towards him, fear striking her as she froze. W-What... Kodi wasn't alive anymore he had a dead hallow look to him the wolf looked matted and had bugs circling him like a dead being. Rotting flesh and blood dripped towards the ground. She backed herself up against the wall and closed her eyes, "It's not real..." She whispered over and over again then slowly reopened her eyes to see Kodi back to normal. She quickly hugged him and continued to run her fingers through his thick fur and closed her eyes tightly, "If it's side effects, I-I don't think I'll be able to deal with them much longer." She said softly still holding tightly to him.

Post by Kodi R. Lucian November 30th 2014, 9:46 am

Kodi watched the shifter with big grey orbs truly sorry for never thinking about how she felt if he were to disappear. It wasn't on his own accord, however, it just happened at random like always. There was no sure way to figure out what triggered it or what caused him to come back down here on Earth once more. He liked to think that it was due to him being needed and having some mission like in the sequel to All Dogs Go To Heaven. A wild idea, but to him it made sense. His only goal had been to find his lover if she was even down here... He had never really thought too much on her not being on Earth with him but it was a possibility. For all he knew, she could still be up there looking for him. The thought alone made him want to run out in front of oncoming traffic and get hit by the biggest truck he could find. It was tempting, but, now he had Clementine here. He had someone with him to help keep him sane or at least as sane as he could possibly be. Then again, right now she didn't appear to be in her right mind either but he was sure that it was just the after effects of coming back down here and hoped that they wore off soon. His full attention moved onto the shifter as she began to speak and her words hit him like knives; the male's ears fell and he lowered his head with a little whine. He wasn't trying to make himself feel better. He had apologized because he actually was sorry and wanted to make things right between them. If she forgave him.

The ebony pelted male rested upon his haunches as he kept his sad grey orbs on the woman and didn't move towards her as he wasn't sure if he should or not. Kodi wanted to, in other words, suck up to her as his wolf felt she was a superior, but didn't want to be scolded. This was his biggest confliction while he fought the urges. Watching Clem, he grew confused, her facial expression showed fear and he couldn't understand why. He wasn't scary or intimidating, so why did she look like she was ready to scream? Kodi whined softly as she moved away from him wondering what the hell was going on. Her whispers didn't help out either. What wasn't real? Him? He didn't understand at all. Soon enough Clem was pushing herself onto him and wrapped him up in a hug which confused the lycan some more making him think that he was the crazy one here and not Clem. Kodi stayed still for a few moments and listened before giving her cheek a few tender licks trying to cheer her up a little or make her feel better. Eventually, the male began to morph back thankfully with shorts on and wrapped his arms around the smaller being, rubbing her back in little circles."Its okay, Clem... I'll be here." He whispered and kept his arms around her.

Downtown Area - Page 8 Empty Re: Downtown Area

There she was just a pathetic looking girl holding on to a wolf who doesn't even know the real her. Who couldn't see the monster that raged on inside her, instead he saw a girl crying her eyes out as she held on to him, as if he were the only thing that could keep her sanity in check. She felt herself hyper ventilating but had calmed down enough to take slow deep breathes. Counting the breathes the young wolf took, closing her eyes she just focused on how the way his fur felt underneath her padded fingertips how warm he was. The rough licks she received to make her feel better she just sat there petting him. Though, that was when he began to shift she practically felt his bones contort but she didn't care feeling his muscles beneath her hand move and hearing the snapping if bones in place she just closed her eyes. Soon enough she felt the smoothness of his bareback as she glided her fingers along his spine.

Feeling no longer the heavier set breaths instead it was lighter and tickled her neck. She felt his hands wrap around her curvy form, feeling like she was getting lost in his warm human skin. She felt him place smooth circles against her back and to try and soothe her. She was going crazy, she knew it. He was just denying it to himself but he would know soon enough that he should have believed her when she said she was going mad. Her ADHD made it harder to focus on the different things that were happening she heard some distant sirens and she closed her eyes as she held onto him tighter. She remembered why she never wanted to come back down here, it was because of her the dark creature who had given her life on this planet and so easily took it away for her to live in the afterlife... Alone. She didn't know any one until Daniel came along and then Faolan took her in as with the other Lucian's.

She had a family, until they left her. Until she was back to being alone and later found herself back down into earth, where she can find her again. Where she would possibly place her back up in the afterlife, oh no, not this time. She would be ready she would fight back soon enough Kodi's words reached her ears and she gave a small sigh, Kodi, don't waste your time on me." She said softly as she slowly moved away and began to go to her feet, her hands shaking, "I know you didn't find me on purpose. You probably weren't looking which is okay, I'm a pretty forgettable character." She began to back away slowly, "I'll be fine on my own, I've been alone for years now. Besides, I don't want to risk being attached to someone then have my heart broken again." She tried to laugh but nothing came out. Pivoting on her heels she began to walk away from the only person she really cared for in this... Possibly whole world. She couldn't hold him back however, he had Micky. He had chosen her long before she had him and it was time to let go of the past and start heading towards the future. Which was back to the afterlife once she visited her mother.

Confusion. That was what he felt. He didn't understand why she was trying so hard to distance herself from him; it was like she was hiding something and didn't want him around. Kodi was aware that he had suddenly walked out of her life but it was far from intentional and while he was trying so hard to get back in it, she kept shoving him out again. A small whine left him as she pulled herself away and left him there on the cold, hard ground looking up at the shifter with his big grey orbs as he shook his head quickly.''Clem, no." He started and moved to his feet now wishing that he had some clothes,"I never forgot about you. I could never forget you. Everyone disappeared on me and one day I just woke up down here again. It was never my intention to leave you." Kodi tried to explain it the best he could as he was on the verge of begging for her to stay. She didn't have a reason to but he wasn't going to just let her go without trying at least."I didn't even know you were down here... But now I do and Clem, if you walk away right now, I'll have no one." Maybe it wasn't the best idea to guilt trip her like that but Kodi was an honest soul and he really wouldn't have anyone if she chose to leave him here. His brother wanted him dead, he had no idea where his other siblings were, and the love of his life had once again disappeared. So what was he to do? Chase ghosts? Kodi began to shiver slightly as the wind decided to pick up and chill him; he started to walk after her and made a bold move to grab for her wrist.

Clementine watched as he began to get on his feet. She didn't know why he was doing this, why he even tried to make her stay. Giving a small frown she eased her way further, his words hitting her like bullets as she just couldn't do this to him. Though she had to leave it was for their own good, she couldn't be attracted towards him. She was his best friend and he had a fiancé, her head began to fall. Clementine gave a deep breath and continued to listen further, his words cutting her like knives as he was tearing into her guilt. She didn't want to leave him but that doesn't mean she could stay. She looked up at him and gave a small frown, "I don't know why I was sent back, perhaps it was to face my mother or maybe... I don't know to come and stay with you. She shrugged her dainty shoulders, "I just know that... Well, I don't belong here. It's strange and I'm not used to it, I don't even know what reality is anymore, especially when I'm going insane. I see things and they tell me stuff they mess with my head." She began to walk away, "I can't risk you getting hurt, especially by me." She said as she tried not to look back.

That's when his last sentence made her stop, he had no one? She had no one for years.. She was just by herself. She knew how it felt to be abandon and she suddenly felt something warm grip against her wrist. A soft touch that her cheeks were beginning to get red from. She hid her face behind a curtain of hair as she just faced a different way. She just stood there not knowing what to do, slowly she moved over and hugged him tightly. This may be the last time she saw him so she didn't care anymore, "I'm sorry... I'll be watching over you." She whispered as she moved to her tip toes and kissed him softly on the lips, just a simple one that held her sadness and guilt and passion she felt. That's when she pulled away looking into those familiar grays with her bright purple orbs. Then she bolted straight out of the alleyway, her blonde hair disappearing as she moved around the building and shifted into a simple blue jay as she traded running for flying, her favorite red scarf falling on the ground during her shifting.

Every step she took away from him broke his heart more and more; he felt like there was nothing that he could do and it was one of the worst feelings he had ever come to know. Kodi was scared. He was scared to lose his closest and most dear friend, scared to lose the only person down here that could honestly stand him. Above all, he was scared to be alone. The male wasn't used to the life of a loner and the very thought was unnerving. Kodi thought more and more on it and slowly came to the realization that... This was how Clem must have felt. She felt this way for years and Kodi was finally understanding where the shifter girl was coming from. He gradually became disgusted with himself for ever adding to the problem; being one of the ones who had been missing from her life for this long. The guilt was eating him from the inside out and it was all he could do not to break down in the middle of the alley and in front of her. She was right. He was a horrible, horrible man. He didn't deserve to be in her presence, yet, he craved her companionship. The male's gaze shot back up at once, grey eyes wide. How could she hurt him? That was one thing that he could not fathom at all and it brought great confusion upon him."N-no, Clem. There's no way you could ever possibly hurt me." Technically right now was one of them but it was from his own doing anyways; she had nothing to do with it. Kodi whined softly at her.

When she stopped, he really thought that perhaps she had a change of thought, that maybe she would think things over again. It gave him a little hope after all and he hoped he had convinced her to stay. His heart picked up with anticipation that it was almost too much for him. Kodi waited as time slowed to a crawl and all of what he had hoped for came crumbling down around him. The Lucian boy's heart fell down all the way to his stomach when she hugged him one last time apologizing, a single tear rolled down his cheek and off the end of his chin to its death upon her shoulder. It lead the way for other tears who soon began to slowly follow suit. Kodi was about to protest and beg for her not to go and leave when something completely unexpected happened that caught him off guard; he was confused once more by the shifter's sudden action that left him standing there. Did... She just... He looked down at her then followed her with his eyes as she dashed away.

He couldn't comprehend it. Kodi felt... tingly. He had actually enjoyed that brief yet meaningful kiss but did not know why he had. The boy didn't know why she had suddenly done that and wondered what she meant by it. What really disturbed him the most was the fact that he liked it. Here he was engaged to another woman who he had been with since they were teens and had been faithful to yet his lips had finally betrayed Micky's and had been on another's. Kodi felt like he had just cheated on her. But... He enjoyed it and deep down a part of him wanted, no, craved more. Was this how his brother felt when he had done this while he was in a relationship? Slowly his eyes lowered towards the ground where a red scarf laid blowing a little in the wind and Kodi made his way over to it and picked it up, rubbing his fingers over the soft fabric. He didn't know if he'd ever see her again, but he would make it his mission to give this back to Clem. This would be his excuse to search for her. Wrapping it loosely around his neck, he shifted and the scarf stayed in place nice and snug against him and the wolf took off out of the alley and down the street with only hope to hold onto.

Scott had been busy lately he had been working over time down at the local tea shop, he had been working there for about over five years, the elderly Witch that owned it adored him, treated her like a grandson which she never had. Which is indeed true the elderly day couldn't have children, so having Scott in her life seemed to brighten up her life or at least thats what she tells him.

It getting late as the bronze haired shapshifter stepped out on to the streets, shrugging on more on his navy military style coat to cover him with it, he does up the bottoms he looks about. It's miserable weather tonight, in fact it has been all day. Scott didn't care much for the rain, even if his inner animal is a Feline, he loves the rain, the water, the sea. Weird right? Well he has grown to enjoy it.

Turning away from the traffic, the feline shapeshifte walks side the side of the road, with a sigh. Stuffing his hands into his pockets, his hand tucked away in the warmth as he walks. He needed to get food and then head home. Which reminds him, he needs to put up a advert for a roommate his place was too big for him, a Three bedroom house for one person was too big. So first things first he needs to walk to shop for the food.

Downtown Area - Page 8 Empty Re: Downtown Area

Post by Madeline Deadwood January 28th 2015, 8:07 pm

Madeline was walking down the street quickly, her head ducked as she tried to shield herself from the onslaught of water coming from above. The weather had been horrid lately, all grey skies and more rain than they could use. It didn’t really bother Maddie, though, because she rather enjoyed the rain. She loved the sound of a good thunderstorm. She loved the fresh scent of rain falling. She loved the calming effect that rain could have when falling so persistently against a tin roof. And her inner wolf loved the rain even more. When she shifted into a wolf, Maddie could spend hours running through the rain, splashing in mud puddles, and just letting go. The rain had a funny effect on her.

She hadn’t wanted to be caught in the storm, but that seemed inevitable now. Her shift at the diner had run late, leaving Maddie at the storm’s mercy. Lycan territory was rather close compared to other territories, but it would still be a long walk in the rain. It was about time she found a place in the city. Madeline had been thinking about getting her own place for a long time now, but she had never been able to leave the werewolf territory. If she moved away, it would feel like she was abandoning her pack. And Madeline loved them like they were her own blood; most of them were. But she knew that eventually she had to move on and make a life for herself, outside of her pack. And maybe the time had come for a fresh start.

The rain was coming down hard now, so hard that Maddie could barely see anything. She hurried down the street quickly, thinking only of getting out of the rain. In fact, she was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t even see the man walking towards her. Maddie didn’t stop walking, and ended up colliding with the man [Scott]. “Oh!” She exclaimed, gasping as she stumbled backwards a few steps. Madeline titled her head upwards, staring at the man with wide, brown eyes. “I’m so sorry!” She said, looking at him earnestly. “Are you alright?”

As the shapeshifter walks he started to think of his advert that he was going to put up, sure, he has two free rooms one is the ensuite and the other a single room. Did he want to rent them all out or just one. The feline sighs, creating a puff on white air leave his lips, tough decision really. He wasn’t the type to have constant company he was a cat, he likes to prowl at night and laze around in the day. He just feels he needs another presents in his home life, just so he knows when he comes home, there is another person there, plus it’ll keep his mother happy, to known that he’s not alone, in a bag house No 26, Thee Denn.

Yet suddenly he was knocked out his thoughts, quiet literally. His feet quickly took a stagger backwards, to support himself with out think, his balance was good, like any feline would of be. “Woh!” Scott voice slipped out his slips as his hand instantly leaving the warmth of his pockets, grasping the lady’s arms as she stumbles back gentle grasps to steady her.

Her Brown eyes met his sea-green eyes, he is taller then her, was the first thing he noticed and her eyes too. Yet then he felt the water droplets still hitting his face.“I’m so sorry!” She spoke looking at him. Scott couldn’t help but grin and shaking his head with a chuckle. “Are you alright?” She spoke again. “it’s okay, It’s both of our faults” He spoke gently patting the females arm as he grins apologetically as the rain keeps hitting his attractive features. He lets go making sure silently sure she is well balanced again “Lets not go bulldozing any more people now.” He spoke in a joking manner. He noted that the young lady was getting soaked, she looked cold and wet to him, while he on other hand was wearing a military styled coat which was made out of thick fabric. Concern floods his features, his fingers go to the buttons of his jacket. "Your soaking, Here." Undoing the first few buttons quickly.

Madeline was caught by his arms, which wrapped around her arms and helped to keep her on her feet. Her brown eyes were wide as she looked up at the boy, silently thanking him for steadying her. She opened her mouth to say something, but then was distracted. Their gazes clashed and she was staring into a magnificent pair of green eyes, which oddly reminded her of the sea. They were /that/ green. And why was he so tall? Maddie had never thought of herself as small before, but he towered over her and that was not exactly an easy thing to do.

“Uh, okay.” Maddie nodded her head when the male said that it was both of their faults. She didn’t see how he was at fault for anything, but she decided that it wouldn’t be worth her time or energy to argue with him. Her gaze flickered towards his hand, which patted her arm gently, before flickering back towards his face. He had a nice face. The kind of face that you could look at for a really long time and never get bored, because it was just /that/ nice of a face. Even when it was covered in rain droplets, and especially when he was grinning at her like that. He let go of her then, and Madeline offered him a sheepish smile as she crossed her arms tightly over her chest and bowed her head slightly, to avoid the majority of the rain on her face, although it didn’t work very well.

“I’m sorry!” Maddie was immediately apologetic when he spoke once more. “I didn’t mean to…oh.” She trailed off when she realized he was joking, and she let out a shaky laugh that she didn’t exactly feel. She watched him for a few more moments, before speaking again. “I’m Maddie.” She offered quietly, her eyes following his hand as he began to undo the buttons of his jacket. His words made it clear to Madeline what he was about to do, and before she could stop herself she was springing forward. “No!” Her hands pressed against his chest in an attempt to keep the material together, despite the fact that he was quickly unbuttoning it. “I’m okay. Really, you keep it.” She couldn’t run into him and then accept his jacket; it wasn’t right.

Maddie... It was a nice and easy name to remember. Yet she only spoke her first name, so she was only going to recieve his first name too.

"I'm Scott."

He was undoing the button then suddenly, she pounced? Was that the right word to use? Like a cat pounces onto a mouse. She was trying to make him keep his coat on, pushing it against his chest too. Well this humoured the young male causing him to laugh, while shaking his head lightly look down at Maddie.

"Funny, Normally people are more encouraging for me to take off my clothes."

Scott has no shame really, he took life a step at a time. He wasn't insecure, he knows he is attractive and good looking to, he could easily dress the part too, which he often did when he is put and about. Sure another thing his looks gave him was his one night stands, which he has recently stopped. Six months. Thats half a year, He believe that was good, after all his last sleeping with someone was his ex-girlfriend. If his mother found out that he been having one night stands since a young teenager age, she would of thrown him out on to the street and he would of became a ally cat. Lucky she didn't find out and Scott was living in his own place, which he actually brought six months ago before he broke up with his ex, it was for both of them to move into and unfortunately that never happened. Yet he feels it's too empty just for him.

"I wasn't going to let you keep it. I was going to let you borrow it. I'll get it back eventually."

He had undone all the bottoms even though Maddie was trying to hold his jacket closed. He keeps looking down at Maddie.

"Besides where I'm going isn't far at all."

He spoke with a grin and a shrug lightly with his shoulders reflexing the muscles in his arms slightly, it is a subconscious thing, like a cat stretching it's legs, they are actually stretching there muscles. He was telling the truth, the shop wasn't far away, sure he when had a fifteen minute walk back to his place, yet the walk never bothered him rain or shine.

Madeline gaped up at the other when he said something about people encouraging him to take off his clothes. She couldn’t tell if he was arrogant or just extremely open about such things. Either way, she still kept her grip on his jacket tight, perhaps a bit tighter than it was before. “Well I’d greatly prefer it if you kept your clothes on.” She told him honestly, as the rain came down colder and harder than it had before. Maddie was drenched, but that didn’t mean that they both had to be. Besides, it was her own damn fault for not dressing accordingly. And she didn’t want to add fuel to the fire that was Scott’s ego. The more clothes he kept on, the better.

She wasn’t a prude, even if she sounded like one. Madeline had absolutely no problem with half-dressed men parading around. Except for when they would catch hypothermia doing so. She would be fine as soon as she got home and could shed her outer layer properly. Wolves didn’t mind the rain, after all…But it seemed that no matter what she said, Scott was bound and determined to take his jacket off. She sighed softly and looked up at him with yet another frown, but she finally pulled away and removed her hands from his chest, although reluctantly. “You’re going to get wet.” She grumbled, more to herself than to him.

“Do you live in the city?” She asked curiously, when he said that he wouldn’t have to go far. Oh, how she wished to live in the city now more than ever. The territory was so far away…Maddie was itching to get outside of the city limits. And then a thought struck her; she could wait out the storm. “We should get coffee.” She said suddenly, blurting out the words before she could really think about them. “I mean…I work at this little diner down the street. It’ll probably be warmer than this..”

“Well I’d greatly prefer it if you kept your clothes on.”

She spoke those words as Scott just grins charmingly at her as she lets go of him, not many people these days, state their mind, let alone the truth. Lies often led to unwanted arguments and disheartening endings. She as his pervious relationship, his ex broke up with him, due to believing false rumours about him sleeping with the others. Sure Scott is a charmer. Yet he’ll never cheat with his partner, he tired to make his ex, see he wasn’t cheating on her. Yet it all ended on deaf ears and a un happy ending all because someone lied to his ex.

“You’re going to get wet.” She grumbled under her breath.

With that Scott already has his coat unbutton and held it out to her with a charming grin revealing with pearly whites. He wasn’t one to let people suffer due to there own fault. He spends a large majority of his life in the water, being in it today wouldn’t affect him more then normal. He slide his jacket off his shoulders revealing a fine grey knitted v neck jumper, which seemed to have nothing underneath it and a pale blue knitted scarf around his neck.
His boss, the elderly witch told him that he is pleasurable to look at and she would always jokingly say that her bed was open to him anytime of his life. He had changed before he felt work to, since he worked at a traditional small tea shop, he has to wear a slim fit white shirt with a tight grey waistcoat and matching slim fit grey trousers. Yet now he was dressed casually and has no need to wear smart clothes but, the v neck does suit him indeed. Yet he held his coat out to the soaking girl, still offering it to her. The coat was going to be no doubt still warm due to the thick fabric of the old military styled coat.

“Do you live in the city?”

Scott’s clothes were getting socked and quickly. If she wasn’t going to accept his coat from him he’ll put it on her himself. Humour enters the sea green eyes. First she refuses him to take off his clothing now she’s asking him if he lives in the city.

“Yes I live in the city. Not far about fifteen minute walk.”

Scott got fed up of waiting he threw his coat over her shoulders and draped it around her smaller shoulders. Scott is taller then Maddie and much boarder too. Scott didn’t find it cold, he drugged gently on the front folds of his coat, to up to closed. He started to do up the buttons too, starting from the bottom and working his way up, he wasn’t touching her too much, he was being respectful towards her.

“We should get coffee.”

Right at those words Laughter left Scott’s mouth, tilting his head back his hands abandoning the job of bottoming his coat which he’s forced on to Maddie, there was only three top buttons left to do. Running his right hand through his own wet golden hair, he shook his head, controlling his laughter.

“First you tell me i don’t need to strip of for you, then you ask me if i live in the city and now you're demanding to have coffee with me.”

His charming grin didn’t leave his face. Scott didn’t know if he should tell her or not that he in fact doesn’t like coffee. In fact he had a cup of tea before he left work too. Really he only needs to go to the shop and by some milkshake and something to cook for Dinner tonight then head home. Oh, and also put up the advert that was in his coat pocket about the two empty rooms for his apartment too. He has to remember to do that too.

“In fact, I’m not a coffee person. But I am heading to the shop to buy some stuff, you can tag along if you wish, Maddie.”

He nods across the street on the other side of the zebra crossing close by was a small food shop, which Scott regularly goes to for last minute food shop.
