It would take some time but he would eventually memorize the way to their new territory and new home, Faolan would be going back and forth between the city and the woods and getting lost in between here and there was not on his to-do list. Previously, he thought hauling these few boxes to the camp would be easy though now they were at least an hour or two into the forest and he was already starting to become slightly fatigued, Fao wouldn't dare let it be known with Emily right close by though. He didn't wanna seem weak or anything in front of a girl, all males thought that way. Adjusting the boxes in his arms to where it was more comfortable to carry them, Faolan peered ahead spotting a colony of roofs and other buildings just off in the distance. That alone gave him hope that they were close. Ushering Em on, he picked up his pace a bit through the chilly forest layered in a thick blanket of snow. He couldn't wait to pick out a home, all of them Dante had assured were magnificent, Fao really didn't care about size but he just wanted a nice little place of their own where they had not a single worry in the world. No more small and crammed apartments for them. Here, they would live out their days in comfort and ease, and if fortunate enough maybe.. maybe they could start a family. It would never be the same without Grayson and he knew that, but it was just a nice thought.

The snow was cold, as was the wind that was bitterly blowing on them. As far as they walked into the forest there was no scent to guide them. She could no longer smell anything but the coldness of the air. It made her head hurt from the constant cold. She was shivering softly as she walked next to Fao. She tried to hold it in so Fao wouldn't notice because she knew he would give her his coat and she would not take it. He needed to keep warm and not get sick. Emily could see their white whisps of breath mingle as they rose up to the trees, it was pretty cold out. After another hour of walking she was getting tired of walking and the boxes in her arms which were light before were now very heavy. She opened her mouth to just say Lets head back to the city but then she caught sight of slanted roofs. Joy rose in her and she quickened her pace to the houses. Once there she looked at each one, at the end she saw it. The house was perfect, it was two stories with a large bay window at the front side staring out at the forest. She turned to Fao. "That one..its perfect." She said and walked over to it looking at it. She set down the boxes on the porch and opened the door to check the inside. It was empty. She turned and smiled at Fao.

Faolan quickened his pace moving easily through the snow that had fallen for he was far used to this type of weather and treading through massive amounts of it, in both forms. Though he was quickly reminded to try to slow himself as he was not alone on the journey here to the camp, with consideration Fao stopped straying ahead and returned himself to Emily's side where he remained close till they arrived at their destination, his eyes wafting here and there from house to house. Each was unique, some small, some large, most made from logs and a few of brick or paneling, but each and every one of them was gorgeous in Fao's eyes and any of them he would be more than satisfied with. One of these homes was not going to be just a house for shelter, it was their sanctuary; a place for their hearts and love to grow. Faolan watched as Em scampered on up to one of them, the very last one, and so he followed right after her and stared up at the two story house. It was honestly a lot bigger than he thought but not enormous which was perfectly fine with him, a bright smile lit up his features as she claimed that this one the one, this was the perfect home and he couldn't agree more. Setting his couple of boxes down on the porch as she turned back around to face him Faolan gazed warmly at her and rested his hands loosely on the dips on her sides,"Its absolutely perfect, perfect for my she-wolf."

Emily pushed open the door feeling cold air greet her, once they had some wood it would be easy to get a fire going. She went back and grabbed her boxes and taking them inside. She set the down next to the stairs and moved through the house, most of the furniture was covered with sheets. She puled the sheets off the couch and the chair next to the fire place. "It's amazing Faolan!" She said turning to him her eyes a light with happiness. She went to the wall and felt around clicking on the light. She was happy they had electricity. "A perfect...place to have dont you think?" She asked, she had wanted to say a perfect place to raise children but she had stopped herself her heart aching for Grayson. She ran her fingers through her hair and smiled at Fao shakily.

As long as she was happy with this home, than he too was happy, more so because it was something that appealed to her and Fao would always go for what she desired. From now on, he was putting himself last. Rolling his aching shoulders, Fao once more picked the boxes up to move them off of the cold porch and into the house where it was oddly warm, at least more so than he had expected but it was very pleasant and comfortable. Its large exterior matched the inside as it too was quite spacious and clearly harbored many, many rooms just on the first floor alone, perfect for a large party on occasion Fao thought, or, perfect for housing more than just the two of them here. That of course would more than likely be much later in time if he ever learned to pull out in time or remember to, many women would vouch for that and given the chance they'd have him neutered. Popping his head into what he assumed was the living room he watched as Emily uncovered a few pieces of furniture that appeared to be new and untouched, now they didn't have to worry about forking out money for that but Fao probably could somehow get the cash if they really needed it. His plants were doing quite well and out here in the middle of no where he could set up a good plot of land for 'em, thousands upon thousands of dollars worth. Anything they wanted, they could get. Faolan moved into the room and stepped towards Em as she spoke, nodding with a grin as he examined their surroundings once more,"Absolutely perfect for us. Its a lot bigger than I thought, but that's fine, we can fill it I'm sure." His hint was subtle but had more than one way to interpret it. Beginning to chuckle, it all came to a quick halt as he noted the look on her face and was just getting negative vibes from Em, confusion lit him up and Fao quickly took her side."What's the matter, babe? You alright?"

Emily was shocked at how beautiful the inside of the whole house was, the interior and the wood...it blended in together almost perfectly. Already Emily felt the comfort that she had been wanting from a place of her own, this would be home. She wanted people who came to visit to be comforted and be happy. She pulled off another sheet from a large hanging mirror over the fireplace. She stared at it and a smile came to her face. She stopped seeing Fao in the mirror a concerned look on his face. Her smile faded and she rubbed her arm. "I was..thinking of Grayson...I know this won't be home without him but i also have a feeling he is ok with your parents. I know that they must be with him." She said and looked down for a moment before looking up at Faolan. She turned around to see him fully and walked to him. She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly. "I know we can always have more kids but...I want Grayson back." She pressed her face into his shoulder and tried to let the tears fall. She breathed softly holding them back. She didn't want to cry not now, she did miss Grayson..so much. It hurt so much that she couldn't protect him, and she was hoping..hoping that he was still in the Afterlife safe with Faolan's mom or his sister or his brother. Anyone to be honest, as long as he was safe. I know he is older now. He should be loving it with Faolan's family. Grayson I love you. She shook against Fao as the tears feel and she gripped his shoulders letting out a soft sob.

The corners of his mouth pulled into a frown as she brought up their son's name and along with it a sharp pain in his heart, it was almost too much to bear. Faolan had not seen his little boy since the day he left Em, he wasn't very old at the time and that was long ago, it was safe to assume Grayson was probably school age by now if not older. Lycans aged faster than humans but only if their blood was not mixed, their son was half so he couldn't have been too much older by now. Faolan slumped slightly and could no longer look up, dark bangs falling in his face as he thought of his son and fought back crying as well, he just nodded at her words hoping that his folks had him. They'd spoil their grandson and he was sure that Rylee and Kodi would too. It was all that Fao could hope for, that Grayson was somewhere safe, any other possibility was completely unfathomable; he didn't want to even think about his son being anywhere else. As Em slipped her arms around him tightly, he did the same and held her close against him as he gently comforted her, rubbing the girl's back in small circles as she proceeded to sob. He understood that, it would never be the same without Grayson with them even if they were to have more kids, none of them could ever take his place. Fao felt tears of his own start to swell in his eyes but forced them back and grit his teeth, even as much as he wanted to let go of them he wasn't about to cry in front of Em; he had to be strong though Fao sniffled slightly."I hope so too, Em, they'd never let anything happen to our boy..." He started out gently, offering a soft tone as he spoke."Maybe... Maybe he'll find his way down here like we did. If not, well, then I'll just have to figure out how to get him here to Sotu myself, I swear I will." Chances were slim and he honestly didn't even know where to start; he didn't even know how they were able to get down here. Fao just woke up one day and was in a city he had never been in before without any recollection of what he had been doing the night before. But if there was a way to come down from the Afterlife, he was going to find it and he would get their son back, even if it meant sending himself back up there to accomplish it. Gently rocking her in his arms and listening to her subtle sobs Faolan shushed her softly and kept promising that everything was going to get better.

Slowly Emily began to calm herself down taking deep breaths and sighing softly. She knew it hurt Fao to mention Grayson but he had been on her mind alot, and even if they could have more children it wouldn't be the same. She knew that Grayson would be older now, but she was afraid if he came down here that he would not remember her. That was more heartbreaking than thinking he was with someone else. Thinking of him being with Fao's parents made her smile and as she wiped her tears away she listened to Faolan as he rocked in his arms. She knew he would go to hell and back for her but she wouldn't make him do this. She didn't even know how she made it down here. Emily was pretty sure Faolan didn't know how he had gotten down here either. They had to be chosen didn't they? Or at least...shoved out of the Afterlife. A person could drive themselves nuts trying to figure out the answer, Emily knew she would. Her heart hurt for Grayson but she calmed down enough to pull away from Faolan and wipe her nose and eyes once more. "Grayson will be with us one day. I'm sure of it. I know you will do anything to get him here..but i dont want you harming yourself or others to find him. I know he has to be safe with your parents. I know they loved him to death." She gave a smile, it was weak but it was a smile. She hugged him once more and stood on her tiptoes giving his lips a soft kiss before pulling away from him. "Come on..lets go check up stairs." She gave him a true grin now hiding the pain she felt and raced up stairs. Once up there she noticed plenty of rooms but a large door was at the end of the hall. She walked to it and opened it, inside it smelled like mothballs and dust but it was a large bedroom. Surprise took her as she saw how big the bed was and the dresser and the closet that was open. "Fao! I found our room!" She called down to him and the sound of claws on the hard wooden floor made her turn back to the room. She walked in her foot steps leaving a trail in the dust. She noticed some animal footprints in the floorboards and she crouched near the bed to look underneath it. She let out a yelp and jumped back when a furry ball of white and black jumped at her and started barking. She landed on her butt on the dusty floor and looked at the puppy who was growling in the corner.

All they could do was hope that he did one day find his way down, but Fao was still hell bent on finding his own way up there to bring him back to Em, back to them so they could finally be whole again. Faolan did respect her decision but he was a stubborn male and if he had his mind set on something he was not going to stop even if it meant harming others in the process. More than likely, he would find that bastard that attacked them and introduce a new meaning to Hell to him, Fao was going to make sure that he paid for hurting Em and their son. All negative thoughts leaving him, he snapped back out of his thoughts as she planted a gently kiss upon his lips and just gave a half smile to her, nodding as she suggested to go investigate the upper half of the house. No doubt the rooms were large, everything down here on the first floor was after all. Climbing up the long wooden stairway, Fao headed on up right after her and began to wander once he reached the second floor, pleased with what he saw. Everything had a hint of dust to it from being left untouched for so long but could easily be cleaned, the first few rooms he went into were fair in size and one he already was fond of for a man cave, or maybe he'd just turn the basement into one, he wasn't sure at this point. One could probably get lost upstairs but he hadn't gone in too deep when he heard Emily exclaim that she had found the perfect room for the two of them, leisurely heading down the hall towards her Fao then heard her give off a holler and immediately hurried closer. "Em? Hey, what's the matter?" He called out, his voice echoing off the walls in the hallway, Fao quickly came into the dust covered room and just about jumped back as he heard the snarling of something. At first, he thought it was just a raccoon or something that had frightened her, an opossum even, but upon further inspection he realized it was just a canine; a pup actually. How the hell it got in the house was beyond him. Faolan moved to Emily's side and offered her his hand to hoist her up, chuckling."Scared of a little pup?" He teased with another soft laugh before turning his two toned eyes onto the black and white creature in the corner. Curiosity got the better of him and once she was back to her feet he slowly crept across the floor towards the little ball of fur that was growling at them."Oh c'mon now, we aint gonna hurt ya. C'mere..." Faolan clicked his tongue and patted his legs to coax the puppy to him, squatting down.

Emily took the help greatful for it, as she stood up next to Faolan. She made a face at him as he teased her and she looked at the pup who was growling little ball of fluff. She was curious of how the pup got in here, but he seemed to be lost and scared. "Careful there Fao. He may nip." Emily chuckled and watched as Fao moved forward clucking his tongue at the pup. She crouched down and held out her hand to the pup smiling at him. "Come on puppy puppy!" She said snapping her fingers softly. The dog gave a growl at Fao but stopped his shaking and sniffed the air smelling for danger. Its bright blue eyes narrowed on Fao but it slowly scooted forward to sniff Emily's hand. It licked her hand and Emily gently petted him. "The poor little thing...its so scrawny." She looked at Fao her eyes shimmering, she wanted to keep the puppy now that had seen it. She petted him more and the puppy rolled over show his belly and Emily scratched him. He jumped up and gave a bark licking her chin. "Aww he is so cute!" "Can we keep him?" She asked Fao hugging the dusty puppy as he licked her face. She scratched him behind the ears.

That was the least of his worries, Fao wasn't scared of being bit by a young pup even if it were to hurt a little as he was sure that the tiny teeth of the canine wouldn't draw blood yet. The puppy didn't appear to fond of Fao at all as he was still growling towards him, not so much Em, mostly Faolan and it was safe to assume that it was because he was a man. Perhaps this pup had a thing against guys... Shaking his head, he flipped his hair out of his eyes and moved back towards Em as she tried to coax the small canine towards her. Like a charm, it worked, he scoffed and crossed his arms across his broad chest thought couldn't help but smile as the pup took right to her. It was cute after all. Biting his lip, he eased himself closer to the ground by Em's side, watching the two with gentle two toned eyes and just chuckled. He didn't dare offer his hand to the young one as he did not want to push his luck. If the pup wished to he would come to Faolan on his own accord. Then, his head snapped up as Emily begged, pleaded,like a child who had just found a stray, in hopes of their parent saying that they could keep the animal, of course he could never say no to her... Faolan took in a breath and rested his hand on her shoulder with a wide smirk as he looked between her and the puppy,"You know I can't say 'no' to you... We'll keep him." Anything that she wanted, he would give to her, if she asked for something, she would have it in a moment's notice, she had taken his heart and Faolan hoped that some time in the future she would also take his last name. Snapping out of his thoughts, he looked back to the pup and just watched in curiosity, even Fao had to admit that the little pup was darn cute and he definitely needed some fattening up if he was going to survive the winter here.

Emily let out a squeak of happiness as Fao said it was ok to have the puppy. She hugged him and he barked before jumping off her and sniffing at Faolan's feet before looking up at him cocking its head. Emily gave a soft laugh and smiled up at Fao. She was happy that he had said yes, she would say yes to anything he asked her. Emily knew he was the one for her, and thinking of him and Isis made her wish she had fought harder for him. Isis had only hurt him in the end, and she had wanted him to be happy not hurt. Emily thought about this for a long moment, shaking her head softly she stood dusting off her jeans. If Isis were ever to return Emily would fight for Fao this time. Emily leaned down petting the puppy who was sniffing around the room now. "How about Charlie for a name?" She asked him tilting her head to the side. She liked the name Charlie and it fit the young pup who began running around the room sniffing others things.

Seeing her happy was most important to him and he could not deny her anything that would make her happy, Faolan of course would allow her to keep the young pup if it put a smile on her face. If he needed to sacrifice something for her, he would without hesitation, even if it was his drug addiction that needed to be stopped Fao'd do it. Returning her hug, the lycan smiled down at his she-wolf and placed a kiss on her forehead before she once more turned her attention back onto her new puppy who was now actually approaching Fao, he stayed still and allowed the young canine to sniff and get familiar with his scent. The tiny creature settled on its haunches and tilted his head as he stared back at Fao, chuckling he slowly bent down closer and eased his hand towards the black and white dog trying to show him that Fao wasn't going to hurt him. He considered shifting forms thinking maybe seeing another canine would do some good but it could also go the other way and frighten the pup; he didn't want to do that. Carefully he reached out and scratched the puppy behind the ear, hearing Em question him on a name. Well, the way he saw it, it was her dog after all so she was in control and could name him whatever she pleased. Fao smiled back up at her."Its your puppy, you name him, Em. But I gotta say that I like that name." As soon as they had mentioned the name, the pup seemed to like it as well as he had began racing about the spacious room which made Faolan let out a laugh as he watched. His mind began to drift back to Grayson, wondering what he would look like as a wolf, whether he passed his white coat down to his son or perhaps Grayson took after his mother and donned an ebony pelt. Had he even began shifting yet? Fao and his siblings had started at a young age but he didn't even know how old his son would be right now. He was positive that his grandmother would get him through the first shift despite her being human; she had married a werewolf and did have six werewolf children so she knew a thing or two about the species. An expert really. Faolan hung his head as he thought deeper about it, staring off into empty space.

Emily laughed watching the puppy scamper around the room investigating some new things. She was happy it had warmed up to Fao. She watched as Charlie ran off down the hall and down the stairs to investigate other places. Emily turned a smile on her face to Faolan when she saw his head handing. His hair covered most of his face so she couldn't see his expression but they way he held himself she knew. She stood there for a moment biting her lower lip her green eyes glued to him. She knew exactly what he was thinking about. Grayson. She was to alot and she knew that Fao would do anything in his power, hell over his power, to get their child back. But now was not the time, and she knew that Grayson had to be safe up there with his mom and dad, and she also knew that he wouldn't be her baby anymore he would be a full fledged kid. She waited a few more moment before walking over to him and standing under his hanging head looking up at him. She touched both sides of his face looking into his eyes. His eyes, how soulful they were always in deep thought. Even when he was angry they glowed the crystaline blue that they are. She stared into them before speaking softly. "Faloan, I know that you will do anything to get our son back. I know that is what you are thinking of right now but I want you to know that...I love you and I know that you would do anything for me. Just as I would do anything for you, I love you and theres not changing that. You are my soulmate and nothing will come between us. I know Grayson is with your family safe because it just couldn't be any other way. And i know that he is older. He probably looks just like you and acts like me." "We will have him again." With that she kissed Fao on the lips and wrapped her arms around his neck loosely and pressed her body to his. She wanted his worries to melt away like they did with her when he was around.

He had been so lost in his thoughts about his son that he didn't even realize how quiet and awkward he had become; Fao never even took note of Em as she made her way to his side and softly took his face in her delicate hands. This had snapped him back to reality and at first Faolan thought that he had missed something she said, ready to apologize he was cut off abruptly as she spoke and of course he listened to her, staring right back into those bright and beautiful eyes of hers. He knew she could see it in his orbs; that he was thinking about their son again. Fao couldn't help it he missed his little boy. Back in the day, he would have ran off fearful of helping raise a kid, but now that he had changed for the better and was interested in being there for his child, fate took that chance away from him. It crushed the Lucian more than he lead on. Fao still hung his head, body continuing to slump even as Emily spoke. He knew she loved him and he knew that nothing could ever come between their love, neither of them would allow that to happen. Strong arms wrapping around her waist as she pressed close to him, he held her there not wanting to let go yet for the sake of comfort as she always new just what to say. Faolan nodded at her words then slowly laid his forehead gently against Em's, he was starting to feel better and he prayed to the Almighty that their boy was brought back to them one day. Soon, he felt her full, plush lips connect with his and closed his icy orbs, leaning into their kiss with passion as he held her close against his form. Everything just seemed better with Em around to sooth him, worries ceased with just the simple touch.

Emily felt his lips touch hers in response and once she ended the kiss she pulled away and looked up into his eyes. She touched his cheek rubbing them gently and pulled away. "Lets unpack and we can start a fire." She said softly to him and gave him a small smile. She moved his bangs with her fingers and walked out of the room and back down the stairs. She knew that he would be ok eventually. She ran her fingers through her hair and hopped down the stairs smiling at Chalie who was curled up on the couch.

As she gently pulled away, his eye lids slowly lifted open and turned directly into her own as Em stared back, with a small smile he nodded at her words and began to remove himself from the room. That sounded nice, a warm fire and some relaxation from a long day. Faolan normally would have swooped his bangs right back into place covering majority of his features but kept them brushed to the side where she had moved them, it wouldn't hurt him none. Slinking his way down the stairs to where they had left the boxes he grabbed the ones he carried in and began to move them back up to the second floor. All he really had was clothes and few things to be placed in the bathroom, every one of his electronics was still up there in the Afterlife and there was no getting them back; Fao had to replace it all. It wouldn't be much of a challenge once he set his plants back up and went into town to sell, that would be taking a few months from now. He came to their large room at the end of the hall and slipped in to get his things all neatly put away, lucky for them there was plenty of room in the spacious dresser and even a huge walk-in closet, something told him that Em would be using that more.

Chuckling at the thought of that, he just shook his head and slowly began to wander back downstairs eager to start that fire and warm the house up. The werewolf rubbed his hands together before sticking one in his pocket to fumble around for his lighter not sure if he had it with him or not, entering the living room,"S'pose we'll need some logs, I'll go get us some." It wouldn't take him long to go fetch a few pieces of wood, then they could get that fire going and well.. Maybe that would help set the mood. What he had found in his pocket, was the black velvet box and inside it was something that enabled a future. Faolan had invested all of his earnings into this little box and sadly was unable to get Emily anything else for Christmas; he just hoped that if she turned him down that she wouldn't be upset. Slipping his hat back on his head the Lucian boy took himself out into the cold once more to go search for wood, anything that wasn't wet or buried in snow. Ah, there, as Fao had rounded the corner of the house he took note of a neatly stacked pile situated right up next to their home, it looked recently chopped as no snow had covered it yet, like someone had just placed it here. He didn't think much on it but picked up an armful and headed back on inside.

Wiping his feet off and kicking his shoes to the side, he returned to the living room with his bounty and immediately placed a few logs in the fireplace. Fao dug his lighter out and quickly lit the kindling to get some heat in the chilled house. He wasn't complaining or anything, but it was colder than he liked it, and it was getting worse outside. Warming his hands, he closed his eyes and took in a breath, sure he had done this once before but he was as nervous as hell. Was he going too fast? They both only desired each other and no one else. But what if she didn't accept tonight... Proceeding to bite his lip, that was a possibility that he would have to deal with, with another breath he finally turned around to face her and fished the box out of his pocket."I should have done this a long time ago, but after the incident with...You know, I couldn't. If I hadn't of gotten my memories back I probably would have asked. I planned on it a little while after Grayson was born." Faolan swallowed hard after he spoke, a clammy hand drawing out the little black box and for what seemed like forever he just stared down at it, that feeling of rejection hitting him again. He had to grow a pair. The Lucian finally got the nerve and got down on a single knee."Maybe I'm rushing things but I changed my mind, I don't want to wait any longer, I can't. You're the only one for me and I couldn't ask any other woman this. So... Emily Fane, will you take my last name?" Holy hell, now that rhyme sounded fuckin' cheesy after he said it, to be honest that sounded a lot better in his head but there was no going back now. Heart pounding in his chest Fao had flipped the lid on the box to reveal the pristine little ring hidden inside and just looked up at her expectantly.

Once down stairs she head Fao moving around upstairs, a smile came to her lips. She didn't feel alone..finally having someone with her. She felt..safe. She walked towards the kitchen and looked around. Charlie and was snuffling around looking for old crumbs and she smirked a little watching him. She was happy that the electricity worked, she could hear the fridge humming softly in the corner. She turned and walked out of the kitchen pausing to check the bathroom. It was clean..ish. She glanced at herself in the mirror and gasped softly. She looked bed raggled, and Fao hadn't said anything. She quickly combed her fingers through her hair and then walked back to the living room to fold the sheets.

Emily looked up at Fao as he stuck his hands in his pockets and began talking. She gave a nod, a fire would be nice. She had suggested it but now that she thought about it the house was a little chilly. She shivered a little bit and sat down on the couch testing its springiness before getting up and finding an old shirt to dust off the living room. She turned when Fao came back in with armful of chopped wood. "That was quick." She said chuckling softly to him watching him set it in them in the fireplace.

It was still cold out, and as she looked at the window she noticed the snow falling and shivered at it. She had never liked the snow and being a newly turned werewolf it still affected her. She should be warm most of the time but maybe it was just because she was cold blooded. Emily turned to Fao as he began to talk, he seemed very nervous and in turn that made Emily bite her lip. She tilted her head at his words. Asked what? She thought and then blinked at him as he began spilling out more things. When he flipped open the box and asked her to take his last name she gasped in shock. She was not expecting him to ask for her hand, it was a complete shock and she was speechless for a moment. She couldn't help the yelp of delight that escaped her. Charlie came in barking and wagging his tail as he heard Emily yelp. "Yes Fao! Yes i will." She said wrapping her arms around his throat and hugging him. Tears were running down her face from her happiness.

That was possibly the longest and most excruciating moment in his whole life, kneeling there waiting for her to either accept his proposal or down right reject him, Faolan was already nervous as it was and this was making him start to worry even more so. So much that in fact his hand that was holding the box started to mildly shake. Here he was, the big bad wolf, unafraid of certain death but terrified of being told 'no' in this situation. What if she did? He really didn't want to wait any longer as it was, that was why Fao was asking right now, but if that was what Em wanted... Faolan continued to gaze up at her with wide blues that widened a bit more as she squealed, clearly that wasn't a sign of her wanting to reject this if anything at all it showed that she was ecstatic! Oh how much relief that brought him and how much joy filled the lycan that he could have jumped up and down like a kid on Christmas, there was no other way to really show just how happy she made him when she said 'yes'. It felt as if his heart was about to bust clear through his chest. Faolan plucked the ring from its velvet casing and reached out for her hand so that he could slip it on her finger before she attacked him with a tight hug, he brought his arms around her tightly back but not too tight as Fao didn't want to crush the poor dear. He was at a loss for words and just began to stutter inaudibly.

Emily pulled away from the hug and pulled away looking at the ring. It was absolutely beautiful and Emily would always cherish it. She felt tears begin to slip down her face and she looked at Fao. She touched his face with her soft hand and stared lovingly into his eyes. "I..i didn't expect this..and it is the best present in the world." She said softly and Charlie barked jumping up on the couch and nuzzling her other hand. She petted Charlie and he sniffed Faolan. He cocked his head wondering what was going on. He yipped and jumped into Emily's lap licking her chin. She gave a laugh and petted him before pushing him down and hugging Fao again. "Thankyou so much Fao. This is worth everything to me. I'm so happy to take your last name." She didn't know how else to thank him but say it. She loved him, and she was so happy he asked her to marry him. It was shock and she was hoping it wasn't a dream, if it was a dream she didn't want it to end. She wanted to stay like that always. She pulled away again kissing his lips now, and Charlie barked wagging his tail. He jumped up on them both licking the sides of Fao's face as they kissed.

Faolan just held her tight against him till she decided to be the first to pull back and took the time to admire the ring he had gotten her, he was just glad that she liked it, truly liked it. Honestly he wished that he could have bought something with a bigger diamond, he would have if he had more funds but it was the thought that truly counted. He loved her enough to ask her to marry him and more to be at her side for as long as they shall live. Fao smiled wide at her words staring lovingly back into her gorgeous eyes before he was once more embraced, closing his eyes for just a moment he breathed in her aroma and nuzzled into her neck."Em, I couldn't ask any other girl on this earth but you to marry me. You're the only girl that I need and that I want... You dont know how much this means to me." He whispered in all utter honesty. She was his everything and her taking his last name, well nothing could top that. Nuzzling her again, he felt her pull back from him once more to press her plush lips against his lips and Fao returned the kiss with such sweet passion, or as much as he could before the dog wanted some action as he started licking his cheek. Unfortunately he had to break off the brief kiss to laugh at the little pup.

Emily laughed softly as Charlie began licking Fao. She was grinning brightly, this made her so happy. She was finally with Faolan...and he had asked her to marry him. She could never feel so alive..so happy. Tears escaped her eyes again but she petted Charlie and scooted closer to Faolan. "Fao, this means the world to me. I couldn't ask for a better anything. This ring is amazing..this house...just everything." She whispered and looked at him her eyes shining softly.

Fao ruffled the top of the pup's head as his laughs slowly died down and he turned his full attention back to Emily at the scent of tears, but they were happy ones and he could tell. Bringing his arms back around his fiance he held her close to him and grinned like a fool, he still couldn't believe she had said 'yes' to him and he wished he could show her just how much it truly meant to him. Faolan would find a way."I would do anything for your happiness, Em. You don't know how grateful I am to have you." Whispered the lycan back to her softly as he gazed lovingly into her eyes.

Emily blushed softly at his words and gently touched his cheek. "Nothing could make me happier than being your wife." she said quietly and then stood up giving him a soft smile before turning back towards the living room. "I say this looks a lot cleaner..why don't we go turn in?" She suggested a small smirk on her face.

He gently leaned his head into her palm as she touched his cheek with a soft hand, still smiling like a fool of course and kept his bright two toned eyes on her. Nothing had made him happier before in his life except of course the day Grayson was born, but these two were tied at the top for sure. Faolan slowly stood after she did and glanced to the fire that was still burning and giving a lot of heat off in the house, he tossed another log in before nodding at her suggestion."Yeah, its been a long day." Moving towards her Fao gave her sides a playful squeeze before he started to walk off towards their bedroom, throwing a charming look over his shoulder to her.
