There's other around here just like you and I, many of us actually. We are right under your nose. But shh... Don't give us away now, we really don't need humans finding out. It's our little secret...

Welcome to Sotu v.2! An all level supernatural creature role play taking place in a haven built just for the supernatural though we coexist secretly with mortals. 100 years ago, war plagued our once beautiful home, turning everything upside down till nothing but rubble and bodies remained. Life had seemed cease... The four clans, exhausted and thin in numbers, had finally given up and declared a truce between themselves, vowing never to go to a war so deadly as before, to make sure that their one and only home flourished once more.

And now, Sotu has done just that, expanding far past it's original borders and returning to it's once majestic state. Mortals have since migrated here as well, providing an adequate food supply and excellent cover for those returning to their human forms. Life has returned normal for most though old blood still has yet to allow ancient grudges grow.

Its up to you where we go from here. Keep the peace, or bring war back to our lands...

Hava Java is the local and friendly coffee shop. You can get anything from a basic black coffee to a seasonal latte or cappuccino or a build-your-own-coffee.
The current season special is apple pie flavor which you can apply to anything.
Build-Your-Own-Coffee is where you get a plain black coffee and put your own creamers and sugars into it.

Post by Emily Fane November 2nd 2013, 6:43 pm

In town she paused at the smell of coffee. "Mmmm it smells so good." She said happily. This was the first time she had been in town and her green orbs were glowing happily. She gently pulled at her Supernatural shirt and looked at Fao almost nervously. She quickly looked away and looked at the soft glowing orange red sign and opened the door. The bell above chimed almost merrily and she looked around. The familiar sound of coffee brewing made her heart warm.

Before any of this, before she was in the Afterlife...she always woke up to the sound of brewing coffee. She was already enjoying the smell and sound when she glanced around the shop. She noticed a few people who sat in the dark booths. She went to the one closest to the window and watched the mist settle over the town. "Its beautiful out." She said softly having sat in the red leather booth. She scooted in so he could sit next to her. "How...have you been?" She asked softly as a waiter threw some menu's down and walked away.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Faolan Lucian November 2nd 2013, 7:21 pm

Fao had declined her offer for the granola bar before they left the lake and somehow managed to find their way out of that hellish forest. Never before could he ever say that about a patch of woods, seeing as he was a wolf, but navigating through it was difficult as he didn't know the lay of the land. And also, he had never been so happy to see concrete and hear the motors of cars. Faolan could be such a city boy at times yet he wasn't ashamed, it was where he had lived for the majority of his life and also in death. Gently he swung his arm still holding onto Emily's hand as they arrived in the village and headed down one of the streets. He had spotted the coffee shop a few days ago whilst trying to get the feel of this place and figuring out where all the little druggies were so he could get his fix. That was one habit that the Lucian could not possibly drop; his addiction to smoking weed, and was probably another reason Isis left him not wanting their child around a pothead. He could honestly not blame her for that.

He slowly let go of Emily's hand as the duo approached Hava Java and Fao moved ahead of her to grab the door and hold it open. Even if he had a negative reputation there was still a flicker of chivalry in the man. A charming grin rose to his lips and he nodded her inside,"After you, hun." Faolan followed after her inside rubbing his chilled arm slightly and was grateful that the shop was warm, smelling rich with freshly brewed joe which he inhaled with a smile. Oh this would help his hangover. Following Emily into a booth, he slipped in beside the woman and immediately picked up the menu while she spoke, looking it over."Well, I guess as good as I can get seeing as how I dont know how exactly I got here. What about yourself?"

Emily looked at him quietly for a moment deciding on what to say before speaking. "I've been...alright...I have been living in that forest and staying away trying to figure out some answers." Her tone was a little off but she swallowed and glanced at the menu.

"What is this?" None of the names sounded familiar. She was even afraid to pronounce any of them. They were all strange. She frowned at the names and shook her head setting it down. "I'll pick what ever you pick." She said with a soft smile.

Post by Faolan Lucian November 2nd 2013, 8:18 pm

Faolan listened as she spoke up and he put the menu down to look at her as she continued, offering a slow nod. So she knew the woods around here well then, maybe she could show him around some time to help him get the lay of the land. Maybe go for a run some time. Nodding, he brushed his bangs back out of his eyes and chuckled at her as she seemed to struggle with the odd names of the different beverages."I dont even know what most of them are, I just want a regular black coffee." He liked to keep it simple but would drink just about any kind offered to him. Fao slipped his arm around her,"How about instead of sleeping in the lonely ol' woods, you stay at my place? Mi casa es su casa."

Emily gave a smirk at his words. "You read my mind." She said with a laugh thinking about the black coffee. She actually felt regular coffee would warm her up, she was freezing. Her arms had goose bumps on them and her teeth were almost chattering. She felt a chill go through her when the door opened and shut. She then turned a shocked look on her face. "You have a place?" She wasn't as shocked because she knew he was a hard working but it was surprising.

Post by Faolan Lucian November 2nd 2013, 9:58 pm

A chuckle escaped him as she stated that he had read her mind about the choice of coffee, well, great minds do think alike and they had lived together for some time at one point. Black coffee was the usual. Fao watched as the waitress returned to take their orders, he asked for a medium sized black coffee and a cinnamon roll before turning his attention back onto Emily as she seemed to be surprised at what he said. Was it really shocking that he had his own place to live? Well, it wasn't legally his to be honest, he was squatting it without the owner knowing. Fao was able to get away with it before, and he was doing it again. Smiling at her, he nodded slowly,"Yeah, kinda. I dont pay anything for it but they dont know that Im staying there... Its really nice actually."

Post by Emily Fane November 3rd 2013, 2:17 pm

Emily ordered the same black medium size cup of coffee and a Carmel donut. She handed the menu back to her and looked around the shop. It seemed like a very homely place. She liked it a lot because it seemed like the perfect place to just hang out. There was even soft classic rock playing from some hidden speakers above them. She glanced back to him when he talked about the house.

Of course it wasn't actually his but you had to do what you had to do. She didn't mind it, it was a place to sleep. "Well squatting in and old house isn't so bad. As long as it has maybe a shower and a bed." Her voice held hope and she was excited. She hoped it was a nice house and from the way he spoke of it...it was. She glanced up as the coffee came down and their food. It smelled heavenly. "Wow thankyou." She said to her to which she only shrugged. She looked at Fao and shrugged herself. "As long as its warm." She said to him softly.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Faolan Lucian November 3rd 2013, 5:19 pm

It was sure better than sleeping in a filthy alley or on a creaky old bench off in some park, four walls was much safer too for an immortal especially if there were slayers or hunters about. Many a time had he ran into their kind and viciously dispatched them which Fao could say he honestly enjoyed back then. Back when he devoured humans like a sick addiction, like the wild beast that he was. His inner wolf craved flesh and there was only one way to satisfy it until he aged up a bit and learned how to get control. Faolan still had the taste for humans but now he only ate them once in a great while and he was very proud of himself for it.

Fao snapped out of his thoughts as she spoke up and he gave a soft laugh of sorts, nodding, of course there was running water and he managed to steal some mattresses, it wasn't much but at least he wasn't sleeping on the floor."Yeah, you can shower and dont worry about a bed I've got that covered to." Laughs dying down, he watched as the lady returned with their orders, promptly thanking her, and began to sip away at his piping hot coffee. It hurt like hell but he was thirsty. Setting his mug down, he went for his cinnamon roll and gobbled it down without leaving a crumb behind.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Emily Fane November 3rd 2013, 9:15 pm

Emily smiled and took a soft sip of her coffee. Once the taste hit her tongue she quickly took a bigger drink. She sighed as it warmed her body. She took a smaller sip to ignore the burning she felt. She took a bite of her donut and almost moaned at the taste. It was a sweet little place and if Fao's place was close she would defiantly be coming back here. She felt very comfortable around Fao, it was like old times but now better. What feelings she had tried to suppress so long ago were resurfacing.

She swallowed and looked at him seeing everything he had ordered was gone. She looked at the half of her donut and put it on his plate. "I know how hungry you get." She said with a chuckle. She took another drink and nodded her head. "It sounds like a plan Faolan. I mean...thank-you... I know a lot has happened and...you appear like the angel I desperately needed." She kissed his cheek her lips and breath warm against his cheek and ear. She had missed him so much. It made her heart ache and her green eyes glow like soft orbs.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Faolan Lucian November 3rd 2013, 10:23 pm

Fao leaned back against the booth with a soft satisfied sigh, licking his lips that were coated in coffee and icing from his breakfast. Never had he actually had anything from this little shop before but he had to say that he did enjoy what they served even if the baked goods weren't as wonderful as his mother's home cooking. The second time around that he got to relive his life, he was able to enjoy his mothers food that she prepared every day and the treats she would give him and his siblings if they were pleasant as Lucian children could be. No one could cook as well as her and he would defend his bias opinion.

Leaning into her, he offered a smile as she gave him half of her doughnut and a witty remark towards his never ending appetite, but she hadn't seen him at Thanksgiving yet. Fao looked from the plate back to her then down again and slid it back over to Emily shaking his head,"Im good for now, you have it." He couldn't take it from her, just couldn't. The man drew his arm right around her as she spoke again, the moment he had stumbled upon her back at the lake Fao thought he had been dreaming like the impossible had occurred before his eyes. Feelings that the Lucian had tucked away and had not felt for such a long time had been brought back to life just like the two of them had. Faolan felt her lips press against his cheek a warmth emitting from the breath that escaped her as she pulled back; he turned half way onto his side, arm still around her, and with his free hand he gently tilted her chin up and pulled her into a kiss. It was easier for Fao to express his feelings in this manner than words alone.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Emily Fane November 3rd 2013, 11:26 pm

Everything in the coffee shop made Emily think of the old days, but as most knew the old days were gone of course it didn't stop people from living in them. Emily of course was one of them..but her past was a darker one. She had expressed it long ago and it happened even longer but this was different. She had moved on but everyone had those days where...they couldn't escape the crushing weight of the past. It was like pushing a boulder up a hill. But in the end you had to smile..like it was you job.

Emily watched as he pushed the donut back and gave a small smile. She knew he was being nice about it but that was probably because she looked like a starved dog, and in turn she was hungry. Most of what she ate came from the things she found near some houses with real partiers. It was rare to find what she had, but she wasn't the type to just walk up and start partying although that seemed like a better idea when you just didn't care.

Emily was still close to Fao's face when he cupped her chin and made her look at him and kiss her. His lips still felt the same..soft and warm. She remembered he had been her first kiss and it was just like back then. She kissed him back, the kiss having frozen her for a second. She hadn't expected it but was happy to receive it. It felt so damn good.

He could not help himself, Fao had been impatient and feeling her lips against his own was something that he had missed greatly. Her lips so plush and soft so inviting for his own to press against them in a passionate and sweet manner. Time had slowed down to a crawl it seemed as they locked lips there in the booth and held her close, Faolan stayed connected with her till he could no longer hold his breath and was forced to pull back. As he did, he did it slowly, and smiled warmly at the woman looking deep into her emerald pools."I've wanted to do that for a long time now, couldn't resist temptation any longer." His voice just above a whisper, he gently stroked her cheek.

Emily's eyes had fluttered shut as he began kissing her. She opened them when he pulled away and took in a deep breath. "The feeling is mutual. God Fao...." She trailed off deffiantly wanting more than just that but she held back her lusty desires and gently touched his cheek. "I've missed you." she said her eyes sparkling as she looked deep into his eyes.

Post by Faolan Lucian November 4th 2013, 8:29 pm

Faolan leaned in again to place a kiss on her nose after she spoke, that ever growing grin still plastered on his clean shaven face as she gently touched his cheek. Mutual feelings was putting it lightly that was for sure. Continuing to look into those gorgeous eyes of hers, he couldn't agree more,"You dont know how much Ive missed you... If I knew Isis was going to just leave me, I would never have broken up with you. Im so sorry, Em..." No words could express just how much he regretted that day, and every one after that he wished that he could go back and change it for his life had been nothing but hell after he gained his memories. Fao licked his lips and cleared his throat as he continued."Whenever you're ready we can head on over to my place, we can talk more there."

Emily bit her lower lip as he brought back some memories. Yes she remembered it all well and she also remembered what Isis had said but Emily had always thought different...she truley did love Fao and always would. She gave a soft smile and brushed his cheek. "Shh Fao...I'm sorry for what happened but I understand it was a choice you had to make. Its OK." She kissed his forehead and smiled. "Lets go now."

Post by Faolan Lucian November 4th 2013, 10:00 pm

No matter what she said to him he would always feel just gosh terrible about what had happened long ago when they broke up, it was all his and his brother's fault, more Kodi. He hurt her in the worst way and never forgave himself for it. How she could was beyond him but he was grateful that Emily had, her heart was pure unlike the man that sat before her. Slowly Fao nodded without so much as uttering a word and immediately began to dig his wallet out and toss some cash onto the table for the waitress to pick up and included the tip as well. Slipping out of the booth he offered her his hand with a genuine Lucian smile, ready to go to his place as well. His place was nothing special though he had hopes of finding out just who was the head honcho of the pack he had heard so much about and then perhaps he would be granted access into their clan. Lucians were normally rogues who considered everything their's and everyone belonging to them, but he wanted to start a new life here and take a chance with a pack. Maybe then, he'd have a real place to call home.

Emily could see the torture in Fao's eyes ans she knew he still hadn't forgiven himself. And she figured he never would. She remembered the pain. She doubted she would ever forget it. It would be hard to. But she had forgiven him because that's what you did when you loved somebody. She took his hand with a smile and stood up giving his cheek a kiss. She let him lead the way out to his home. (To le house!)

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Deadwood Boys December 10th 2013, 9:27 pm

Bryce gave a small smile and would occasionally hold her hand as she seemed to be slipping on the ice or snow. Walking along the sidewalk he was careful to stay out of the slicker parts. He gave a small sigh as he maneuvered around the city keeping Rory in his sight. He asked how she was and what she did after Highschool, the usual idle chit chat. Looking around the city most of the shops were decorated in the Christmas spirit with twinkling lights some different colors and some plain white. He wondered if Sam got the tree and stuff up, he also wondered where she was. There was the pack she might of joined but he knew good and well Sam wasn't one for the larger crowd. Smiling lightly towards Rory he could already smell the coffee joint that was just up ahead. He grabbed her wrist and hurried her along wishing to get out of the cold for poor Rory was probably freezing her tush off.

He touched the cold metal handle of the door and swung it open a soft chime from the bells made their present accounted for. Some looked up and spot the duo a few were teenagers but most were adults who just rolled their eyes. Sniffing softly he lead her to the counter his hands knocking against the wood with his knuckles. Grabbing his wallet out he looked to Rory, he looked back to the cashier a cute but way to perky blonde who was showing a bit to much cleavage as well. She leaned a bit over and eyed Bryce he stiffed but gave a polite smile, "Two hot chocolates with whip cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top." He said with that crooked smile of his. She smiled sweetly, "Coming right up, would you like anything else?" Bryce looked between Rory and asked if she wanted anything. As soon as she made up her mind he gave the girl a crisp twenty dollar bill from his wallet and receiving the change and receipt he slipped it into his pocket but not after giving the girl a tip. Motioning her to follow he smiled and then picked a booth near the window so they could enjoy the scenery. It was a nice little joint and he couldn't wait to figure out what else was here to enjoy, "So, Tink where has my sister resided to? Is she living with you?" He asked in that husky voice of his.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Avery Deadwood December 13th 2013, 8:00 am

Rory clung to Bryce, her small hand slipping into his larger one with ease. He attempted to keep the two of them away from the more dangerous parts, but still Aurora stumbled and skidded across patches of ice. Bryce made pleasant conversation, to which Rory responded accordingly. What did you do after highschool? You're looking at it. Rory liked being with Bryce. Just like with Samantha, she could actually be herself--for the most part. They hurried past little shops and stands, decorated with the standard Christmas lights. Rory smiled at them, turning to look even as Bryce dragged her further on, down the street. Soon the warm scent of coffee hit her nose and Rory found herself practically running to keep up with Bryce as they tried to escape the bitter cold.

As they went inside, Rory caught the eyes of a few people. None of them were too interested, and neither was she. It was just a few teens and some adults. Bryce pulled her along to the counter, where waiting for them was a blonde and beautiful woman. Rory shrank back immediately, literally taking two steps back away from the counter. She leaned closer to Bryce, flashing him a bright smile. His smile was polite, as he made their order. As Bryce ordered for them, Rory felt her mouth begin to water at the thought of finally getting warmed up. When they were asked if they needed anything else, Aurora was quick to act. "Here." She tossed a handful of dollar bills towards the waitress. "Maybe you could use it to buy yourself a shirt that covers more than it shows." Aurora sniffed, turning to walk towards where Bryce was leading her. As an afterthought, she called over her shoulder, "Or some class." Aurora's words were fueled by jealousy, and she knew it. But he would be smart not to mention it. True, she had been showing off more than the woman....but now she was wearing Bryce's jacket. So he was the only one aware of how hypocritical she was being.

Rory finally made her way to the booth, still angry but a bit proud of herself for her rude little comments towards the waitress. Really, someone working in a place suitable for families should not be showing off her skin like that. She slid into the other side of the booth, curling her legs up beneath her. Her blue eyes met Bryce's and she smiled slowly, only slightly embarrassed at her outburst of jealousy. That's when he asked her about Samantha. "Oh, she doesn't live with me. Here, there's different....areas for each race. The werewolves have their pack house, the vampires have their castle, us hybrids have our apartments...we don't usually live with each other." Rory tried to explain, with a shrug. It wasn't exactly complicated, yet at the same time it was something to wrap your head around. Never before had Rory lived anywhere with divided territory, dished out to the separate races. But it was actually nice, to keep things like this. "What about you, Brycie?" Rory asked with a small smile, looking at him. "You sure look like you've grown up since highschool."

Lux walks around the town hoping to see anything that would seem out of the ordinary. So far nothing. She sees a little coffee shop and decides to go in. She orders a hot chocolate and sits down. "Ugh, this was probably a bust, what town would have a bunch of shifters?" I say talking to myself.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Coffee.

In all of her years on earth, Callie had never figured out what the humans found so fascinating about the blackish-brown liquid. It was bitter and much too strong, especially for her heightened senses. And even as she sat in the coffee shop, watching all of those around her, she couldn't understand it. Sure, it might give them a short burst of energy, but once that faded, what were they left with? Sluggishness, tiredness, and a bad taste in their mouth. That was why she preferred her own sort of energy boost; the rusty-metallic liquid that now filled her styrofoam cup. Blood. There was nothing better, nothing that could quite soothe the burning sensation in her throat like warm blood. It was better from the source, but that was completely barbaric. So, most of the time, Callie settled for bags of blood; chilled in her fridge first, of course. It was a perfect substance, even with a perfect flavor. It tasted of rust and metal yes, but it also had an almost sweet edge. Sort of like it was laced with just a dash of sugar. How could anything be better?

Callie sat in a booth, twirling her straw round and round in her hands. Today had been an uneventful day. She had managed to finish settling in at the estate earlier on, and now she had nothing to do. There were many sites to see, naturally, but no one to see them with. So far, she hadn't met anyone who wasn't a human. And she couldn't spend her days with a mere mortal; as much as she didn't like to take life from the innocent, she didn't want to listen to them blabber on and on about their stupid issues. Oh, I can't get a boyfriend. I can't find a job. I can't buy the new iphone5. It was truly sickening, this generation. Their values were completely lost! The moral corruption that had overtaken today's youth disgusted her. Only every now and again did you find a good human; and even then, they would always turned out to be flawed somehow. And then, she would grow tired of them, and carry on her merry way....Which was why she was currently sitting alone in a boring coffee shop, ignoring all of the activity around her as she stared down at her cup with little interest. You would think in a place so big with so many possibilities, one could manage to make the most of their afternoon.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Constance Scott January 12th 2014, 4:29 pm

Constance began to maneuver through the area, her stiletto boots clicked against the smooth pavement and people couldn't help cast their gazes towards her. Wearing a black flowing skirt that came down to her ankles, as well as had a little slit on the side. Covering her upper half was a soft light blue with mid-sleeves. She walked along the area a presence she felt had soon found it's way near this place. She sniffed lightly and then smirked she could practically see her little scent trail scooting down straight for the coffee shop. She fixed the curls of her hair even though it seemed they wouldn't dare nap out of place. She pursed her lips a bit and replied her soft red lipstick, the cold had no bother to her so a few mortals were starring at her form while they hid behind their fluffy marshmallow jackets. She started to walk off once more and stepped into a warm coffee shop. Easily she began to stare at the other mortals some supernaturals were here as well but she wasn't here to do with /just/ drink coffee. Besides it wasn't very fulfilling and tasted... Like... She didn't know it just didn't taste all that wonderful.

Constance paused as she saw the girl and watched as she placed the cup towards her lips. She smirked, blood, so out in the open if someone were to throw it off the table it would make all the mortals stare in horror. The vampiress was a out to do that but then paused as she smelt her scent. A smell she hasn't picked up in a long time she quickly moved towards her in a blur and landed right infront of the Miss Dracula. She smirked softly and then gave an innocent little giggle, "My, my, my..." She started out as she inched closer and then settled on the seat infront of her, "If it isn't a descendant of my old friend Dracula." She smiled and then pursed her red lips as she starred towards the other girl. Her elbow lightly on the table as her chin rested in her hand. She smirked towards the younger girl and gave a soft yawn, "So tell me, love, are you actually from the three wives or are you just a niece or something of me dear friend. Oh and how is he? I'm afraid we haven't spoken much since the little incident that went down." She smirked and pulled her glossy brown hair from her face to make it waterfall down her slim waist.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Raven Sykes February 3rd 2014, 9:32 pm

Bringing the foam cup to her lips, Raven ignored the burning sensation of the warm liquid as she drank, though the cold, sinking feeling in her stomach wouldn't leave. At first she thought this was some dream, but after that test, she knew it was true. She was happy yet highly disappointed with her self, and those two feelings didn't mix well together. Together the two feelings battled for dominance, and sadly, disappointment seemed to be winning. Setting the cup down with a bitter expression, Raven wiped at her watery eyes with the sleeve of her sweater. To sum it all up, the female was a mess. With barely any make up on, a clouded, depressed expression and baggy clothes, well, she looked just as she felt. Biting down on to her lip, Raven shook her head for what seemed like the thousandth time. "I'm pregnant!" She whispered to herself, sighing. Never would she imagine those words slipping out of her mouth, yet here she was. Sitting in a small booth at a coffee shop, wondering how this happened. For days she felt perfectly fine until, well, she didn't feel fine at all. Of course, the thought never hit her that she could be lugging around a child until she went through her memories.

She never felt so stupid in her life before. Of course, there were options for Raven, but those were things she could never do. To take someones life away..when that child belonged to you? No, it wasn't human. It wasn't right. Not to Raven. So with an abortion ruled out, that left two other things. Adoption, or, she could keep it. And then, there was her baby daddy. It wasn't just up to her. She needed to talk to him, especially when he was in the dark in this  situation. Kazuma needed to know about their little mistake. Mistake? The word tugged at her heart strings. Would this child grow up thinking it was a mistake? Just the thought brought her to tears. She knew all to well what it felt like to grow up feeling unloved. Leaning back into the leathery seat, Raven glanced around the nearly empty place, wondering what she should do. Perhaps Kazuma didn't need to know? No. He needs to know. It was all so confusing. The two were barely just becoming good friends and poof! This happens. And if things couldn't get any worse, Raven was practically to blame. She wasn't even that drunk that night. Kazuma, well, he was. She could have stopped herself, or, grab some rubber. Did she? Hell no she didn't! If she did this whole mess could have been prevented.

Glaring down at her phone which lay on the table, she contemplated whether to call the male or not. If she did it now, she could get it all over with without carrying the secret around. Or, she could wait until she really felt comfortable with the situation. Which would take a couple more days, but at least she'd be ready. Clinking her venom piercing against her teeth, the female finally reached for her phone, quickly unlocking it before she hesitated on her 'contacts' list. Maybe this wasn't such a well thought-through plan. Clearing away the thoughts with a growl/huff, Raven quickly scrolled down to his name before she brought her phone up to her ear, listening to ringing before she demanded his presence here at the little coffee shop, explaining nothing except that it was very important.

Hava Java - Local Coffee House Empty Re: Hava Java - Local Coffee House

Post by Kazuma Makoto February 3rd 2014, 11:43 pm

Breakfast was adequate as always, nothing those so called 'chefs' could cook ever tasted divine, it was filling but left him completely unsatisfied as far as taste went. More than likely he'd have them fired and then pay more to see if they could cook any better. It seemed that everything at the manor was slowly going down hill with all of his servants; they were slacking off too much. Kazuma had no time to deal with them today however, he had many tasks to take care of and quite a few meetings back to back. First, he needed to visit the mythical shops and pick up a certain item he had ordered from an old friend, then pay off a few people that keep others away from him that are out for his head. "And after that... Maybe I can squeeze in a little shopping spree before noon. If I'm late then I'm bloody late. They'll just have to wait a little longer." He muttered to himself as the driver slowly eased his way up to the curb and allowed the white haired fiend to slip out of the shiny, black car. Kazu bit down on his lip as he was careful getting up, his rear end still hurt if he moved a certain way thanks to that scoundrel from last night. Spitting out a few profanities as he adjusted his coat so that the cold wind wouldn't freeze him, he slowly began to meander down the sidewalk with that little strut of his.

The hybrid hadn't made it far before he heard the familiar tune of his phone go off, 'Invisible Wall' by The GazettE blasted in his back pocket. At first, he figured that it was one of the people he had to meet today, but upon fishing the phone out and checking the ID, he was honestly surprised. It was Raven. Never did he imagine her calling him at this hour but he did answer it as he walked along. Kazuma was curious as to why she had called him, figuring maybe she butt dialed him or something, but in actuality she did need to speak with the white haired hybrid. And she made it sound quite urgent. Kazu asked what it was but she wouldn't tell him... Soft, fluffy ears sliding back as he hung up and put his phone away, he was mildly irritated. This didn't fit in with his busy schedule but seeing as how Raven was the only one who could tolerate him and had considered him a friend, he had to go see her. He'd be choosing another time to shop it seemed.

Kazuma shivered slightly as a gust of cold winter breath hit him which pushed him into hurrying along towards the coffee shop, no doubt it would be nice and toasty in there which he was praying for. Winter was one of his favorite yet least favorite seasons; like a love-hate relationship. It was great for ice skating and gave him a good excuse for not going out nearly as much. But seeing everything coated in brilliant white snow and ice, there was just something about it that he was so fond of. His eyes quickly snapped onto the sign just outside of his destination and quickly did Kazuma strut his little self towards it, hurrying inside to escape the harsh cold with another shiver. ''I strongly regret walking..." He muttered with a shake of his head and brushed the snow off of his shoulders and arms, rubbing them to keep warm. It was nearly empty inside so spotting Raven was easy, that and there was no way anyone could ignore a purple haired girl anyways. Couldn't miss her. Casually did the hybrid make his way over and ease himself down into one of the seats with a slight hiss from the pain, he bit his lip and tried to hide it. The one thing that he could not hide were the large marks on his neck from that midnight lover of his, sure he had tried to cover it with a scarf but the damn thing had fallen a bit so that they were quite noticeable, not that he was aware of anyways. Giving a gentle smile towards Raven, he spoke, "Caught me in time, I just got into town." Kazu was trying to keep the conversation light and not just demand anything of her like he would if it was anyone else. No need to be rude with her.
