Pregnant.

One word had never had such an earth-shattering effect on Aurora's life. Never before had she realized just how big something like this was. It wasn't like what you saw on television. All of those young moms so happy to be pregnant and practically glowing with excitement over the fact that they were carrying life within them. Oh no, it wasn't like that at all. The one little word had put the hybrid on edge for hours now, ever since she left the doctor's office. At first, Rory wasn't sure what was wrong with her. She was tired an awful lot, and for some reason she had been getting sick most mornings. Her initial thought had been food poisoning, but her on and off symptoms had ruled that out rather quickly. And then she had figured maybe the flu. It was, after all, the right time of year for the stomach bug. Snow covered the ground, and people walked around all huddled up, with runny noses and coughs. But no, that too had been ruled out quickly when she realized that she didn't possess any of the right symptoms. And so, at the doctor's office this afternoon, her worst fear had been confirmed. She was with child. And not just anyone's child either. This was Bryce's baby. Bryce, the older brother of Aurora's best friend. Bryce, the amazingly gorgeous superstar athlete. Bryce, the boy who had stolen her heart upon their first meeting. Bryce, the boy she wished she had never met.

The thought of having kids had honestly never crossed Rory's mind. She didn't really want children. What it must be like to be tied down, to have another creature's life depend solely on you...It had never sounded appealing. Rory wasn't the kind of girl to settle down and start a family. Honestly, she had seen herself living with Keegan for the next few years. Maybe she would attend college, study to become an artist. That was what she had always wanted to do, after all. All of those thoughts seemed so distant now. So far-fetched. With just one little world, Rory's whole life had come crashing down around her. Any plans to make something of herself, any plans to start a life for herself...they'd just been ruined. Now, she was destined to spend the rest of her life protecting something so innocent from a world so harsh. A job that would no doubt prove to be a lot harder than what it was worth. Did she really want to give everything up for the baby that she had never wanted?

"This is just great." Rory thought to herself, swinging her feet gently from the low branch that she was perched on. Hesitantly, she placed one hand over her abdomen and pushed down ever so slightly. With a gasp, she jerked her hand away. And then, curiously, she put it back. There, in the middle of her stomach, was a hard bulge. Nothing big, nothing noticeable, but it was there. It spread about the length of her fingertips, and it was weird. Could this possibly be the beginning of what would become her child? "You're loosing it, Roar. It's nothing but the muscles of your stomach." Rory told herself, shaking her head. She wouldn't allow herself to think anything of it, not yet. And still, the main question remained. How do I tell Bryce?

She had to be tasteful about it. She couldn't just walk up to him and say"Oh yeah, great sex the other week. Oh and by the way, you knocked me up." He was going to be just as surprised as she was. But still, decisions had to be made. Was she going to keep it? This eighteen year sentence to a life full of hell? Or was she going to get rid of it. Maybe give it up or something like that. All Rory knew was she wasn't looking forward to telling Bryce, although she doubted she would have to. Wolves tended to have a way with knowing things, especially when it came to pregnancy and such. Her scent would probably be off or some shit...she didn't know. And right now her head hurt to much for her to give a damn.

Bryce was whistling softly to himself as he had decided to go and get some fresh air. His gaze traveling along the city concrete jungle. He stretched lightly, having been cooped up in his apartment for too long, his muscles were sore as he had just worked out in the private gym they had in their building. He paused in mid stride his whistles soft as he remembered the activities that had happened just a few days ago. Rory, the girl he's been secretly in love with when they were younger had been with him. She had came back to his place and they had dirtied up the sheets together. He smiled lightly and even so much as blushed. He couldn't believe that she was actually interested in him like that. Sam was probably gonna kill them but he really wanted to show her how he felt about her. Then he noticed that he had began walking again as he thought about that nights activity. Bryce found himself in the park now, his dark midnight blue hues looked about, something egged him on to come here but he didn't know what, his gut? Possibly.

He walked along the sidewalk before leaving it all together and going deeper into Evergreen Park. Suddenly, he paused, his gaze turned towards two feet dangling from a tree branch. Giving a small whistle he nonchalantly made his way towards the pair of delicate, small feet. He looked upwards to find the mistress and he realized that it was his heart that told him to come here.

He then looked towards the Fae and gave an easy and charming smile. Gripping on one of the low hanging branches he steadied himself, "Hey darlin' room for one more? He asked with a bit of hesitance and slowly crawled on up. Easing on the other side of the tree that was close to the one she was perched on he starred at the other and gave a small frown, "What's wrong?" He asked knowing that he could easily pick at her brain to get the answer but refrained from doing so. Unless something was crazily wrong and she wouldn't tell him, but he tried not to look in and peek around on it. Sighing lightly he leaned against the rough bark and closed his eyes a bit but his dark midnight gaze opened and he looked towards her. Softly with a spark of hot desire and love in them. Strange how he felt this way with a girl who was Sam's best friend. He really did like her though and maybe he could bring her on a proper date.

Aurora was still thinking to herself when she heard a familliar voice coming from down below. Her heart started to beat rapidly, without her permission. As Bryce asked if there was room for one more, Rory wanted nothing more than to tell him no. To make him leave, to keep him from knowing the truth. But what could she say? She had made her bed, and now she was going to have to lay in it. "Sure. Come on up." Rory said nervously, swinging her feet a bit more. She waited for Bryce to climb up, not saying anything. What was there to say? Maybe he didn't even want this baby. Maybe he was going to tell her to take a hike and raise it by herself. She would just have to wait and see.

When Bryce asked her what was wrong, Rory decided that honesty was the best approach. "I went to see the doctor today." She began softly, adverting her eyes. There was no point in hiding it. Bryce and his nifty little talent of digging around in people's head would soon find out the truth if she attempted to cover it up. "He told me I'm pregnant." There, that was it. The cat was out of the bag. Rory's nervousness only intensified at this point, as she finally looked up at Bryce, to see what his take on all of this was. She didn't blame him if he didn't want it. Their baby would be a genetic mess. A mixture of fae and wolf, a mutt really. His family didn't take to mutts very kindly.

"You don't have to help me raise it. Hell, you don't ever even have too see it. But I thought you should know that you're going to have a kid out there somewhere." Rory said shortly, her eyes falling towards the ever so visible bulge in her stomach. There, she had done it. It was all over with now, and they could move on with their lives. Part of her hoped that Bryce would want and accept her baby. Prayed that there would be someone else to fall back on when raising a baby proved to be too difficult a task. And then there was a tiny part of her that hoped he didn't want this baby. That if he didn't want it, she didn't have to keep it.

Eros wandered around the park wondering how he had ended up here. He did not know what his name was and he did not know anything except that he was a vampire and that he only fed from blood bank donations. Looking around he sighed and then sat on a bench and thought about what it would be like to remember who he was.

Zabby, a hybrid who's sanity was indeed questionable, was wandering along toying with her green and blue hair. She was going to dye it as soon as she could but she wasn't exactly near a place to go dye it. Then again she could just use magic to do it. The female was after all a half witch. Zabby shrugged and continued on her way noticing a rather lonely looking person on a bench. It appeared her boredom would be cured. The hybrid skipped over and stopped behind the bench. She leaned on the back of it looking at the vampire. "Hiya!"

[Eros Lazar]

He looked at her and nodded. "Hello." She seemed rather lively and funny. He liked her odd colored hair and her scent was mixed with wolf and witch and he smiled a true charming smile. "Can you tell me what town I am in?"

[Lili R. Draegon]

She opened her mouth to answer holding up a finger then closed it once more with a sudden look of confusion. "Actually... I don't," she said and perched up on the back of the bench. "I really need to pay more attention to my surroundings, how could I not know the name of the place I live..." Zabby looked honestly confused then just shrugged. "Oh well doesn't matter, name's Zabby, and you are?"

He looked at her and huffed. "I don't remember my name. I don't remember anything." His face showed sadness and he leaned against the park bench and just looked at her. It was nice that some random person had stopped to talk to him. He had to say she was awfully cute.

[Lili R. Draegon]

Zabby arched an eyebrow. "Well that could be a problem," she noted swinging her legs back and forth causing the bench to shake slightly each time they bounced off of the back. "I guess I'll just call ya Handsome for now," she said and winked slyly then laughed softly. The hybrid was a complete flirt sometimes but it didn't bother other people too much so she never bothered to reign it in.

Chuckling he got up and hopped on the back of he bench with her. "I guess that will have to do. So what is there to do in this place anyways." His deep blue eyes looked at Zabby and he grinned then jumped up and tagged her on the shoulder and ran away from her.

Zabby laughed softly. "A'ight then Handsome," she purred and smirked. "Oh not much, bars are really popular because to be honest there really isn't all that much to do. I tend to stay home and watch Tv and movies or play Video Games, that's what entertains me." The hybrid gave a shrug and was about to continue when she was tagged. It took her a moment to register what he was doing then it clicked. The female laughed and jumped down chasing after him.

He grinned and then ran towards her and tackled her to the ground playfully and began to tickle her. He was actually having fun and then it came to him. "My name is E....Eros." His smile was charming and decent.

[Ronnie Wood]

The strong well toned blonde walked through the park. Her ear-buds shoved into her as they blared at maximum volume. Her melodic voice sang along with the song, "Tonight it's bottoms up, up. Throw it on down. Rock this quiet little country town, get up. Drop the tailgate on your truck. Find a keg and kill ya cup, up. Kick it on back. Pretty little momma lookin' atcha like that. Make ya wanna slide on in like, girl wassup. Yeah tonight its bottoms up, up, up. Get 'em up. Tonight it's bottoms up, up, up..." Her hips swayed from side to side as she sang. Her long golden hair swaying with her. Twirling her fingers around she conjured up flames that danced around her fingers and she chuckled. With a quick flick of her wrist she made the flames disappear as quickly as they had appeared. As she continued to walk her long tanned legs showed as her jean mini-skirt only covered an inch below her ass and her black leather cow girl boots stopped mid-calf. Yawning she stretched causing her black cami, that didn't cover her crescent moon tattoo, to rise up enough to show an inch of her tanned stomach. Placing her hands on her hips, and not bothering to cover her now showing skin she glanced around with her ocean blue eyes. No one was around. What a sha-. Her thoughts were cut out at the sound of a twig snapping behind her. Even over the blaring music she still heard it. Whipping around she pulled out an ear-bud and called out. "Who's there?" One hand was still placed on her hip as she listened with her enhanced wolf hearing.

Eros had been resting under a tree and he finally got up and looked around. He still could not remember where he was and it was getting old. He needed to find a home soon and blood if he was going to get better. Growling he shook his head and made his way back over to a bench and then looked around his hunger was getting the best if him and passersby were looking quite mouth watering.

[Eden Green]

Heels clacking against the ground and brown hair flying behind her, Eden simply ran. She couldn't do anything special and vampire-like seeing how she ran past stupid humans and avoided being hit by cars as her plump lips pressed tightly together;werewolves were annoying. Eden had just been dancing and fooling around with some charming blood bags (humans) before some werewolf waltzed in, scaring off the humans who would have been dinner for the vampire and turned to her, eyes ablaze as he shook, obviously angry. "Run, bitch." Was all the werewolf said, and needing a good run,Eden let out a squeal, turned and ran, suddenly wishing she could just stop and take off her high heels before she decided to run away from the werewolf.  Of course, she had been laughing at first, thinking that the male would have just stopped after awhile, but no, the wolf was still chasing after her, trying to shove past the mob of humans who walked along the sidewalk, trying to get home.

Turning quickly, the girl ran right into the street, heading towards the park as cars skidded to a stop, nearly knocking into each other and honked, some even sticking their head out of the window to cuss Eden out as she ran right into the park, feet aching and hair wild;pulling down her hiked up dress, Eden looked herself over:a little dark blue dress hugged her body in all the right places while she wore black heels that gave her height that she lacked. Sighing, the female pulled back her dress and stuck a hand down her dress, pulling up her strapless bra before she let out a tiny burp, running a hand through her brown locks;stepping over a bush and stomping down on the ground, Eden's nose crinkled as she smelled more then one werewolf nearby, but the second one had another scent clinging to it;a hybrid, obviously. When two scents mixed together, Eden learned that that signaled there was a hybrid nearby. Well then. Stepping out from the shadows, Eden's brows her furrowed as she glanced around, her orbs landing on a pretty blonde who had been alerted of anothers presence, Eden's presence, from her stomping feet. Raising her arm, Eden waggled her fingers, a small smirk appearing. "Now, what's a pretty thing like you doing out here all alone? There's monsters out here, lurking about. Just waiting for some pretty face to gobble up!"

[Ronnie Wood]

Ronnie's ocean orbs landed on the vampire as it came into sight. Reaching into her jean pocket she clicked her Ipod off. The music cut instantly. Her eyes narrowed slightly and she took a deep breath. Scents overwhelmed her. Werewolves were following her. A smirk played onto her plump pink lips showing a small hint of her sharp pearly whites. "Oh I believe the monsters are only interested in one pretty face. Yours." Ronnie winked and took a small step closer as she eyed the vampire over through her long dark lashes. "Now what's got a gorgeous creature like you so worked up?" Her eyebrow raised in curiosity as she listened to the girl's heart beginning to slow. This little one surely couldn't be afraid of a big bad wolf could she? Tossing her long golden hair over her shoulder she showed her goddess like beauty. Her long lashes that cast shadows over her ocean blue eyes. Her cute button nose. Her perfectly sculpted cheekbones. Her thin dark eyebrows. Each little flawless detail added together to create the model-like girl standing before them. "Now point out the big bad wolf so I can skin him for making such a beautiful creature like you run in those heels. Your feet must be aching."

[Raelynne Jade McShane]

The curvy brunette walked gracefully through the pack. Her golden orbs landing on the faces of the humans that passed her. Her delicious scent filled her nose. She always smelled like warm vanilla and a hint of lavender after feeding. She was never sure why, but she enjoyed the warm sweet smell. Of course so did others. Especially the hungry supernaturals that loved blood. Raelynne played with the hem of her white lace dress, that only went mid-thigh, as she walked. Humming a quiet tune she watched a bird as it landed on a tree branch. The bird mimicked her tune and she giggled softly. Walking off the path past a very hungry vampire, that she hadn't noticed, she continued to hum to the bird as it sang back.

Eros had taken in a very sweet scent. Vanilla and lavender. Looking for the source he growled and was about to go after her but he stopped himself and growled. His face was hollow and his eyes were black with hunger. He had to feed and fast. Sitting on the bench he looked for someone who would possibly donate blood to him willingly.

[Eden Green]

Dark eyebrows rose as the blonde female walked towards her;pursing her peach colored lips, Eden tilted her head to the side, ignoring as scents drew closer as she took in the hybrid's appearance;she was gorgeous, that was plain to see. Batting her mascara coated eyelashes, Eden smiled cutely, lowering her gaze before she ran her orbs up the hybrid's body only to meet her blue gaze again. "Ah, yes. It's seemed I've pissed off some wolves. We're supposed to be playing a game of chase but I think he's gotten carried away." Giving a shrug, Eden gave a what-can-I-do? type of look before she bit down on her lip, rolling back her shoulders;letting out a sigh, Eden still couldn't believe her luck. Stumbling upon another pretty girl was always a score for Eden, simply because she liked chatting with other people, and sometimes other things happened. Running a hand through her soft brown hair, Eden's lips pulled into another smile as the hybrid complimented her with sweet-nothings before Eden glanced down at her small feet, eyeing her heels before she bent over and yanked off her shoes, straightening only to let out a little laugh. "Well, he should be just behind me..somewhere," Glancing behind her just in case, Eden pouted her lips before she turned back around to eye the hybrid;slowly, she held out a small hand. "I'm Eden."

[Raelynne Jade McShane]

Her humming quit at the sound of a growl and her head turned toward the bench she hadn't noticed before. Her golden orbs met his black ones. He was hungry and she knew it. Out of instinct her hand went to her neck and she gasped ever so softly. He wanted her blood, but was restraining himself. A smile faintly appeared on her lips. Taking a deep breath she took in his sent. Vampire. Using what little courage she had she took small steps towards him and sat next to him on the bench. "I'm Raelynne."

When she sat next to him he had to hold his breath and spoke his name with his teeth clamped shut. "My name is Eros." Gripping the bench, he growled as a tidal wave if hunger crashed over him. "Please miss just tell me where I can feed from." His eyes were pleading and if only he knew where he was he might have been able to find it himself but he was suffering from memory loss.

[Ronnie Wood]

Ronnie held the girl's gaze as it turned back to hers. A soft smile spread across her face. She loved new people. Especially girls they were always the most fun. Grasping the girl's hand in her own slender one she shook it slowly. "Name's Ronnie and it's most definitely my pleasure." Her skin tingled slightly at the contact or maybe it was from excitement. Ronnie wasn't entirely sure. The girl before her was obviously beautiful. Anyone could see it. Even the blind. "Now my sweet Eden instead of you being chased wanna see how fast that big bad wolf will turn tail once he meets me? On one condition though, have a drink with me. The pub's open all night tonight and I get free drinks on Saturdays." She winked at the girl her eyes now on the bushes behind Eden as the scent of the wolf was practically on them. Glancing back to Eden her dark eyebrow raised as she waited for a response. Her hand once again on her curvy hip. Gently running her thumb over the fabric of the jean skirt and her bare skin. Ronnie hoped she agreed and she could chase the male away and the two of them could have a fun night. If she turned her down she might just have to find a new way to attract her. Eden enticed her and she wasn't about to let her go just yet. Tonight seemed like a fun game and she did not plan on losing.

[Raelynne Jade McShane]

Raelynne noticed how rigid he suddenly got and reached her arm out touching his knee and looked him in the eye. "Come with me. You can feed from me just not here. There are too many humans." Taking his hand she stood and lead him deeper into the park so they were surrounded by nothing but bushes and trees. Slowly she pushed her golden brown hair aside and revealed her neck. "Now not too much." Her voice was soft and quiet like a whisper. "I've never done this before." Leaning against a tree with him right in front of her so if anyone walked by it would seem like a couple making out, at least to a human it would.

Eros approached her and gently broke the skin on her neck and the vein and drank. Her blood was very strong and he only took two mouthfuls of her blood before he was full and he licked her wounds closed and backed away. His face was full once more and his eyes were deep blue again and he looked at her. "Thank you. I normally don't feed from the source. I go to blood banks."
