Welcome to Sotu v.2! An all level supernatural creature role play taking place in a haven built just for the supernatural though we coexist secretly with mortals. 100 years ago, war plagued our once beautiful home, turning everything upside down till nothing but rubble and bodies remained. Life had seemed cease... The four clans, exhausted and thin in numbers, had finally given up and declared a truce between themselves, vowing never to go to a war so deadly as before, to make sure that their one and only home flourished once more.

And now, Sotu has done just that, expanding far past it's original borders and returning to it's once majestic state. Mortals have since migrated here as well, providing an adequate food supply and excellent cover for those returning to their human forms. Life has returned normal for most though old blood still has yet to allow ancient grudges grow.

Bright chandeliers hang from the rafters as the first ever Christmas Ball of SOTU was being held. The clans and hybrids each got an invitation to enjoy a spectacular evening in the Town Squares Ballroom located in the village area. There are mistletoes hung and beautiful reefs that twirl around the pillars. Lights strung up every which way hanging from the ceilings or twirled with the reefs. In the center of the floor is a large Christmas tree that burns bright for all to see. It twinkles with delight and ornaments of red, gold, silver, and even a few icicles are there hanging from the branches from no doubt an element user. There is even a light cascading amount of snow but it never touches the ground or any of the guest. There is also a wonder band playing multiple Christmas music as well as any other kind of music. So, Come one and come all the first annual Winter Ball!

((Note: This is in neutral territory so all members are welcomed here species doesn't matter.
The end date of the party is January 5th and after that the topic will still be up just no one will be able to post. Thank you!
-Sincerely: Dante, Madeline, and myself(: ))

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Alright so aside from being ruler of her 'kingdom' this vampiress was willing to have some fun. She slipped large diamond studded hoops into her ears as she got ready. Slowly walking towards her dresser where multiple make up was she didn't need concealer and she then grabbed black and brown eyes shadow to give a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Her gaze went towards her mascara and eye liner as she made her lashes longer then they were already are touching up and making it darker in places she then grabbed soft red lipstick then stuck it against her lips as they puckered out. Once finished she smothered gloss on then next. Finishing up a few more strands of hair she began to make her way towards the dress she was gonna wear. It was white and it showed a bit to much skin but Constance was comfortable with wearing it.

Slowly she made her way towards the front door the soft clips of her black heels with shimmering diamonds along the straps. She pushed up her dress a bit and fixed herself before stepping down onto the stairs. The servants or other vampires were starring towards her as she looked like a goddess. She was supposed to be however, giving a smile as her lips pulled back to show straight pearls of teeth she then moved once again forward as she grabbed her shaw and slipped out the already opened door. A limo waiting for her she slipped inside and then sped off towards the party. A few vampires had already gone ahead of her.

As the driver pulled in front rushing out to get the door Constance grabbed his hand as it was offered and stepped out. She then removed her shaw her eyes glued towards the massive building as it beckoned her in. The music was soft and light, as the jazz band swayed along to the electrifying piano as it got a solo. She walked inside and noticed that there were floating snow crystals above and she watched but as soon as one was about to touch her it seemed to just disappear. The guest that were already here didn't even seem wet from the snow so she just smiled. That's when a young man came up towards her a vampire she knew by the name of Aeros. She smiled at her warrior and he greeted her with a bow. He then turned and looked at her [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. As he asked for her to dance she didn't object for he was rather attractive. She grabbed his hand as he led her towards the dance floor. She placed her on his shoulder and one in his hand. She felt his hand slide towards the dip on her side and they soon began to move around the dance floor laughing and talking.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

So this was Earth... Life. It honestly had no differences that he could tell and if there were any they were very subtle and hidden to Silas' well trained eyes, he really missed his home though. Large, sturdy castle walls, strewn about rugs as red as blood, his family now broken ever since his sister disappeared through some strange portal. Their parents were very distraught and Sebastian even blamed himself for Shiloh's tragedy; he always went on about how he should have gotten their uncle over to dispose of the portal properly, Seb had ran himself ragged with that thinking. Silas also drove himself nuts trying to find ways to get out of his training schedule and find that damn portal so that he could go after his sister. Sebastian was always putting his nose in things though, he wanted to know where Silas was constantly, and was with him when they went out on wolf hunts. But he couldn't keep his son from getting to it, nope, he found the portal and dived right in with no hesitation. He was gonna find his sister.

Silas could hear it long before he saw it; the ball, laughter and music, people just overall enjoying themselves with various merriment which was not at all his cup of tea. If he had the choice he would avoid gatherings like this and go off on his solo way, Silas didn't like crowds. Sure, he would not be rude if he was engaged in conversation as his parents raised him not to be mean, but he would let 'em know that he would prefer to do something else. Running a hand through his thick wavy brown locks he straightened his tie that went wonderfully with his [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], finally the vampire lad swaggered on up and allowed himself inside and began to just navigate the large and elegant room. Human food he could deal with and if needed Silas had brought a flask of blood with him. Silas' deep brown eyes slithered about the crowd and took a few quick sniffs as something intriguing caught his attention; other species.... He knew one better than any of the rest and that was vampire, a very high ranked vampire at that just like his parents. This individual could prove dangerous...

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Samantha Deadwood December 26th 2013, 12:51 am

Rory was completely right about her and this not being her thing and all. She grabbed the styrofoam box and then opened the lid to reveal yummy food. The greasy French fries were covered with salt she grabbed one and it exploded in a great vast of flavor she chewed and swallowed and then looked to Rory, "Alright, I'm convinced just because you said free food was involved." She laughed and then pointed a fry at her before taking another bite. She didn't have much time however before she was taken from her bed and instantly worked on. Sammy gave a small howl as she continued to complain to Rory but a limo was already on their way, hey Sam's parents had an old oil well they became rich on. As soon as she was out of the towel Rory had ready begun to grab her head and try it with her blow dryer and then her straightener and curling iron. Her hair was full of hairspray too and when she looked at it she smiled it had a big bow in the back that had curls as well. It looked well with her brown hair, now that her  [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] was done it was off to makeup.

Sam had a fair amount of makeup and she felt as her eyes were being worked on as Rory complained for Sam to stop moving while she put on her light pink lipstick that had been glossed afterwards. She looked into the mirror as the sparkles from her [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] caught in the light. She looked to Rory and smiled, she didn't necessarily like makeup but Rory did rather well. Once she was finished Sam began to work on her and soon after she was done it was dresses time. Sam rummaged through her closet and found something to wear showing Rory and making sure she approved she grabbed a pair of high heels to and then once she was all ready she starred at herself in the mirror. That's when she grabbed something and looked to Rory, "I can't let anyone recognize me somehow, not that I think they would."

As soon as Rory was ready she began to make her way towards the front door grabbing her cape and making sure it hid her dress. The Limo that was waiting for them was large and black, their door was opened as they went in and then the door was closed by the driver as he began to go towards the ball. Sam's gaze moved towards Rory, Okay, so I heard my brother is coming and I know you have a crush on him. You had his scent all over you as soon as you walked in my house. Anyway... Let's make a deal if you go and ask my brother to dance and I will, She paused, "Dance with whoever asks me.".

They then found themselves looking at a beautiful building and Sam's eyes widened then she grabbed her little something and pulled it over her face a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. She looked upwards towards Rory and it looked wonderful with her eye makeup. She gave a soft gulp as she pulled her cape tighter hiding the dress still. Moved from the limo as the door open her [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] pressed against the pavement. She took the drivers hand as he helped her out and keeping one hand clenching her cape she walked forward with Rory.

As soon as she walked in a man had asked for her cape and she looked at him. He looked decent and then she nodded looking to Rory she touched the string that was keeping it from falling and tugged it. As soon as it slipped from her bare shoulders it revealed a beautiful [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. She looked around the room as it looked magical and beautiful and Sam was a mysterious girl who hid her identity with a mask she made sure it wouldn't fall off before looking at the man who had taken her cloak he commented on how beautiful the two of them looked and Sam gave a nod in thanks before grabbing Rory's arm and starting to walk throughout the ballroom. Sam's eyes landed on the food and the many chattering or clinking of glasses. She noticed the various cuisines for the different species. Human food and even in champagne glasses pure red liquid. Sam knew what it was blood, she watched as it was being passed around. The she-wolf sighed and then looked towards Rory once more a little uncomfortable.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Silas Malvagio December 26th 2013, 11:16 am

Kazuma:
Knowing that more than likely there would be commoners here, Kazuma still insisted on getting all gussied up and going out to attend this Ball just for the sake of something to do. Being cooped up in his manor had bored him to death and since he had not seen Takashi in months he had no one to torture and fight. A few nights back, he did have a couple of guests over for dinner and even the grumpy white haired fiend had to admit that it had been... enjoyable. The purple haired lass, Raven, he remembered her name was, wasn't actually as bad as originally assumed and Kazuma had even swallowed his pride enough to apologize to both her and her young accomplice for his rude behavior. And for once, it was not the medication talking.

Slipping a few white capsules into his hand, he tucked the little pill container away in his inner pocket and quickly swallowed the two that were in his hand as his limousine arrived at the front of the building. He would be having to take these for a week or so to make sure the malfunction with his wrists went away completely. Kazuma ran pale hand through his hair and fixed it up to his liking quickly before he dared to step out of the vehicle, eyes shooting to him the moment he did and Kazu smirked as he smoothed out his [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. It was a bit flamboyant but tasteful in his opinion, it seemed appropriate to wear. Kazuma began to make his way inside with a sexy little strut and easily slipped through the crowd that had formed, yes mostly commoners here but oh well, there had to be a few people of his social class floating around. He found himself a nice little spot to sit and just observed the scene of people dancing and enjoying themselves.

Dante:
One hell of a hangover later and he was off to the ball all dressed up in his best [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and looking sharp. Dante had even shaved his stubble off and cleaned up his long hair, which was now noticeably shorter and thinner. He still had a bit of that wild look to him but at least he didn't look like he had just been living in the woods for months. Normally this was not his flavor but he needed to get out and do something other than drink himself away, he needed a break away from his duties as alpha too, at least for one night. He left one of his more trusted wolves in charge of the territory while he was gone and if anything were to happen they would call for him immediately. Dante scratched along his jawline, now smooth and foreign to him, gentle blue eyes wandering about the crowd checking out every girl in a short dress or revealing outfit, he couldn't help himself. Hopefully that tomboy wasn't going to be here, more than likely she wasn't so that would save him some stress. Oh how she pissed him off... Dante shook the thought of her away as he didn't need to damper his own mood and coolly made his way towards a young lady he had been eying for a while now, asking her if she would like to dance with him. He may be a backwoods boy, but he could move his feet.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Avery Deadwood December 26th 2013, 11:58 am

Aurora could barely contain a shout of excitement as Samantha finally gave in and agreed to go to the winter ball. There was no doubt in the fairy's mind that she really was going just for the free food. Without hesitation, Rory yanked Samantha up from the bed and began barking orders at her to shower and wash her hair. While Samantha was showering, Rory moved to her dresser and began to set up various instruments of 'torture.' A hair dryer, straightener, and curler. Hair gel, spray, and powder. And makeup. Lots and lots of makeup. As soon as Samantha made her way out of the shower, Rory pushed her downwards into a chair. Going to work at her hair, Rory dried it before she worked her magic and began with the curling. Having picked up on a few hairstyling tips, Rory attempted to look like she knew what she was doing. And in the end, she did. The bow made out of Sam's pretty brown locks was just the cherry on top of a job well done. Then, it came time for the makeup. And Rory being Rory, she had to go all out with the sparklies. So, by the time Samantha was done, she was shimmering like a princess. And then, it was time for the little things. Lip gloss, mascara, etc. And Sam could not keep still, earning a sharp scolding from Aurora. By the time she was finished and Samantha had showed her dress, Rory felt confident that all eyes would be on the pair of them tonight. "Don't worry, Sam. Tonight no one will recognize you; and if they do, I'll probably kneel over dead." Rory assured the girl, as she moved to do her own hair.

Within less than an hour, Rory was done. And she felt absolutely ridiculous, but she looked stunning. Her hair had been curled and then put up, scattered with a handful of pink flowers. Her makeup was light, just a touch of mascara and some pink lip gloss. Normally she didn't wear too much makeup, so she didn't want to overdo it. Besides, she had already wasted all of her time, energy, and sparkles on Samantha. Looking at herself in the mirror, Rory began to feel giddy. The two of them look absolutely beautiful. Samantha was completely unrecognizable and Rory wasn't too far behind. As Sam announced that the limo was there, Rory moved swiftly towards the closet and grabbed her jacket before cautiously making her way down the stairs in heels. Rory slid into the limo beside Sam and looked at her with a hesitant smile. That was when Sam brought up Bryce and Rory's eyes widened slightly. So, she did know that her brother was in SOTU. That was a weight lifted off of Rory's shoulders. As Sam mentioned her having a crush on her brother, Rory blushed slightly and looked away. That was, until Samantha mentioned a deal. It was too awesome to pass up. One dance with Bryce in return for Sam having to dance with every single male who asked her? Rory could definitely do that."Alright. You've got yourself a deal." She said happily, laughing softly to herself.

They arrived in no time, and Rory stared up at the large building in awe. As the two stepped out of the limo, the chilly wind nipped at Rory's bare legs and caused her to shiver slightly. Hurrying inside, she barely stopped to hang her coat up. All she wanted was to get in there and get warm...As soon as she made her way into the ballroom, she realized that a little crowd had already formed. There were several people of all race, and immediately she could tell the vampires from the rest. Who else would be drinking a thick, syrupy red substance? It disgusted her, but Rory said nothing. Looking at Sam, it was clear that she was also uncomfortable. Smoothing down her dress, Aurora looked towards the dancefloor. "Come on, Sam. Let's dance." She suggested, with a smile.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Laundi Konta December 26th 2013, 5:19 pm

Laundi stepped out of the hotel bathroom, a towel wrapped loosely round her frame as she walked toward the bed. She had heard from rumors around that there was going to be a winter ball and she figured she would go, free food, mortals to feast upon maybe? Either way she needed to make some allies, whether she truly liked them or would just pretend. As looked through her backpack she found her lingerie and put them on, a strapless black bra and lace black panties. The dress she was wearing would be strapless so a strapless bra would look best. She grabbed her makeup bag and the dress and walked back into the bathroom. She placed the makeup bag on the counter and leaned toward the mirror, checking her face out and only grabbed mascara and applied it to her lashes as well as eyeliner. After doing so she dried her hair with the towel and tied it up on her head. The dress lay across the counter and she looked it over before sliding her feet into it and pulling it up her feminine figure, adjusting her breasts at the top and zipping the back herself. She twirled and looked at the dress and smirked, walking back out to the room where her suitcase sat on the bed she opened it, three pairs of shoes, vans, spiked heels and some moccasins. She grabbed the spiked heels and dried off her feet and placed small black socks on and slipped the heels on, twirling on the balls off her feet and back to the bathroom. Laundi zipped up her makeup bag and let her hair down, it lay in loose curls and she brushed it out, leaving barely any curls but it still looked rather nice. As she turned the light of the bathroom off she heard a knock at her door and it was the maid, Laundi grabbed her leather jacket and zipped it up and grabbed the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and stepped out the door, placing her room key and iPhone in her jacket pocket and placed the sign on the handle, glaring at the maid as she walked down the hallway and down the elevator. She made it to the bottom floor and walked out the front lobby doors and held up her hand and with the other used her fingers to whistle for a cab. One pulled up and she hopped it and gave them the address and looked out the window as she went. When they arrived the driver demanded money and she grabbed his chin, turning his head back toward her in the back seat and looked into his eyes, her pupils growing but and small as she spoke. "Forget I ever rode in this cab, I don't owe you any money. I was never here." She smiled and the man looked forward slowly and Laundi hopped out, waving her fingers at the cab driver and he drove off. She didn't always get out of things this way but she did when she wasn't in the mood or agitated about something.

Laundi walked up the stairs and through the door, looking up at the ceiling she noticed small crystals floating about and none dare touch her, they disappeared before they could do so and the floor was clear and shiny. She shrugged, as a man dressed in a nice suit and had a towel over his arm and a tray with wine glasses filled with red liquid, blood obviously, offered to take her jacket she unzipped it and revealed the top half of her dress and handed him the leather jacket. When he took it and turned around Laundi reached over his shoulder and grabbed a glass filled with the crimson liquid and stirred it slightly and took a drink and walked forward toward the food table. Her heels making soft clacking noises, her hair staying perfectly in place, though she didn't do much to it. She finished drinking the blood from the glass and set it on the table, examining all the items and found Nothing of interest. Laundi grabbed her glass again and walked over toward the man who took her jacket and now had it hung somewhere and she grabbed another glass, setting the empty one on the tray and tilted the front of her glass toward the man and smiled seductively and turned around. She walked a few feet forward and turned her body, leaning against the wall and watched everyone dance, who was here anyway, werewolves, hybrids and vampires all in the same place. It was a burning question as to how the place wasn't already riddled with blood and death and was burning to the ground. She wouldn't start violence, if someone else started some she would join in of course. Violence was her thing, but she wouldn't let others know that until she wanted them too. Laundi was good at keeping her true self hidden.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Deadwood Boys December 26th 2013, 5:48 pm

Bryce starred towards Lucas as he began to get dressed. They had purchased a large suit where the two of them had their own rooms a mini fridge stocked with anything they wanted an ocean view it was perfect for the two werewolf boys of the city. As Bryce slipped on his [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and his brother looked to him and rolled his eyes, "Are you not going to wear a tie with that?" He asked his younger brother and Bryce gave him a cute little grin and shook his head. Then he shifted into his leather shoes, "Now why would I want a tie to choke me the whole night." Bryce asked with a sky grin. Lucas grumbled but didn't argue much more he grabbed his own [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and moved towards the mirror. He fixed his tie and then grabbed his own shoes tying them up. These two would rather drive towards the party and so as soon as their hair was gelled and styled the way they liked they moved to the elevator. Their Micheal Kors watches showing half past nine o'clock as they hopped into Lucas' sport [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].

As the car sped off into the highway moving at intense speed the two didn't mind they weaves throughout the other cars and then moved towards the town center and then waited till it was their turn. The door opened upwards and the two stepped out. As the wind blowed through their hair they walked along the red carpet that lead to the open doors. Lucas threw the keys towards the lad who was valeting and then it was time to strut on it. The cold didn't bother the two wolves and fixing their wind blown hair, girls starred towards them as they swooned and giggled whenever the two of them flashed their Deadwood grins. Walking into the warmth they noticed the snow right away and gave a quizzed look. As they touched one it would instantly move away from them.

Bryce looked around the room and spotted many species including a few good looking gals. He smiled softly towards them before he maneuvered his gaze towards two girls one he recognized the other was wearing a mask making her a mystery towards him. Not knowing it was his sister at all, he swaggered himself over and then paused right in front of the two girls and bowed formally. Grabbing Rory's hand he pressed a his to her knuckles and then snaked his eyes around her form, "Good evening Tinkerbell. Don't you live up to your nickname." He laughed and then looked towards her friend, "Hello, miss. I'm Bryce." He said being polite and then looked towards Rory and smiled softly.

Meanwhile, Lucas was shifting thought the crowd he already had found someone to dance with and soon enough the song was over he bowed to her politely and then shifted away from the crowd. Looking towards the champagne he grabbed it as a silver tray floated by and sipped against the chilled liquid. He wasn't one for parties so he didn't really socialize. His gaze traveled towards a few creatures, a Vampire who had looked towards a girl who was dancing with someone else. She had a very tight white dress that showered her curves wonderfully. He could tell she was one for being sexual that's when a girl who was dressed in all spike attire. She looked cool enough but then his gaze moved to a rather cute young man. Yes, these Deadwood boys were bisexual and they were quite comfortable with letting others know. Simon was completely gay though and Trent and Henry were straight. He looked at the other's pink suite but then he decided to not be so rude and stare and look off somewhere else.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Samantha Deadwood December 26th 2013, 9:18 pm

She couldn't believe that she was actually here a girl who would never be caught dead in a dress was actually wearing one. She starred at the other girls in the room they wore their dresses with confident and she just looked like an awkward turtle as she fixed her mask a bit she turned her gaze to Rory. They had a deal going that started right when they walked in. She really hoped that no one would ask her to dance that would not be so wonderful and that's when her eyes spotted towards a male, her eyes instantly widened as she just felt the need to shoot herself. There he was Dante Hawthorne. Why?! She thought he would be having alpha duties to attend to. The she-wolf frowned and then tried to hide herself a little by scooting more into the crowd. Soon enough Sam's gaze went towards Rory and she smiled at her gorgeous best friend no doubt they had gotten a few looks at some gentlemen and that's when her nose twitched.

She turned her eyes towards the door just as she saw a familiar pair and she smiled softly bumping her best friend with her hip, "I'd love to dance but I believe our deal is in process." She laughed and watched as her brother strode forward to the two of them and she was surprised as he didn't even seem to recognize her. Really, was she that different? As he said his name and introduced himself she just curtsied he would figure out sooner or later. Throwing a wink to Rory she left the two and walked along the area taking small strides and she kept telling herself not to fall in these heels last thing she wanted was that. She spotted her other brother and noticed his stare towards a rather intriguing young man. He had on a pink suit how could someone not be looked at in that. Disappearing into the crowd she instantly found the buffet table that was filled with yummy foods and she licked her lips. Quickly maneuvering towards the buffet table she looked at all the desserts and foods.

She quickly grabbed a cookie and popped it into her mouth before moving towards somewhere else. She grabbed a few m&ms and popped them into her mouth trying to figure out what she wanted next. She observed a few delectable sweets before she paused as she turned out. Instantly a young man was starring at her and she gave a light before trying to avoid his eyes. Just incase he wanted to ask her to dance she grabbed a strawberry and dunked it into a chocolate fountain. She ate it easily and threw away the stem before looking for a few more delectable delights. She then grabbed some water and took a swig before moving off into the other stuff. Hey, she was enjoying this free food ordeal. Soon she was making her way towards the outer edge dance floor where a few other girls or guys stood. A few of the girls looked jealously at her and wondered why she was the only one wearing a mask. She rolled her eyes and then watched as a few of the men were making goo-goo eyes at her. She gave a weird face, why did she let Rory bring her into this.

Suddenly a male who had light dirty blonde hair strides up to her. He had soft blue eyes and she sniffed his scent was that of a werewolf and she smiled nervously. His gaze locked towards her eyes and he then asked softly if she would like to dance. She looked to Rory and her brother and then remembered the deal so she took his hand, "Um... Okay." She said in a pleasant tone then she was moved towards the dance floor moving around to the music and striding around her dress sparkling in the soft glow of the lights.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Guest December 26th 2013, 11:28 pm

Amelia had narrowly escaped the party, and then the awkward lunch with the little girl. She sighed as she walked down the sidewalk. As she went to her apartment she heard people talking about some Winter Ball that was going on. Hmmm... It would be nice to get out and do something. She thought idly to herself as she walked. She hurried home to get dressed.

Once there, Amelia went through her closet to see what she had that she could wear. She pulled out her favorite dress with a smile. "Hello dear friend. Time to play." She said softly. She slipped on the tight fighting, not to mention short, dress and walked to her mirror. She walked over and took a few minutes to mess with her delicate hair and get it just right. After then doing her makeup and putting on some simple purple heels, she walked out into the night.

When Amelia arrived, people were still coming in. She walked herself over to a table and looked at the contents. She noticed a girl standing next to her. She looked at the detail on her tattoos. After a few moments she turned her head slightly towards her. "I like your tattoos. Nice detail to them." She admired whoever had done them because they obviously had taken great care in them like any artist. Amelia did the same in her own artwork. She gave the girl a soft smile. She figured she might as well try and talk to someone.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Avery Deadwood December 27th 2013, 12:04 am

At Rory's request to dance, Sam gently nudged the fairy with her hip, to remind her about the deal that they had already made. Laughing to herself, Rory rolled her eyes at how soon she had already forgotten about their little agreement. It was quite ridiculous really. Even if Aurora got the nerve to ask Bryce for a dance, she doubted he would accept. How awkward would it be for him to have to dance with his baby sister's best friend? And of course, he was the only person she wanted to dance with...Suddenly, Aurora saw another person approaching them and of course, speak of the devil. It was Bryce, in all of his yumminess. He wore a suit, which looked really good on his muscular body. The only missing factor was the tie, which Rory found odd but didn't give much thought to. Immediately upon seeing him her heart sped up and she found herself giddy with excitement. He approached them slowly and upon reaching them he gave a bow, ever so polite. Bryce took Rory's small hand into his own larger one and pressed a soft kiss against her knuckles. Blushing, Rory pulled her hand away and looked to Sam, waggling her eyebrows slightly. "Hi, Bryce." Rory said rather shyly, as she pulled her hand away from him. He turned to Samantha and introduced himself, causing Rory's eyes to widen slightly in surprise. Wow, she really had done a good job! Even the girl's own brother didn't recognize her. Seemingly just as surprised, Samantha gave a short curtsy before shooting Aurora a wink and darting away. Of course; alone with the enemy.

Rory stood awkwardly for a few moments, not quite sure what to say to Bryce. Flashing him a smile, she looked up and had to force herself not to stare. Damn that boy looked fine in a suit. And damn his sister for leaving the two of them alone. She knew how socially awkward Aurora was! Especially around boys....As Rory looked out across the room, she watched Samantha dig into the goodies and snacks. She had only come for the food..."So, Bryce..." Rory began, before faltering. She honestly didn't know what to say. Her eyes sought out Samantha, who had began moving towards the dance floor with some male. And now, it was time for Rory to hold up her end of the bargain. "Dance with me." Rory smiled confidently and reached out, wrapping her hand around his. Without giving him a chance to object, Rory pulled the older boy out onto the dance floor, happily leading the way. Typically, she wouldn't be so bold. But today was an exception. Here, in this beautiful dress and with her best friend only a few yards away, she felt like she could do anything...for now.

As they stepped onto the dance floor, Rory turned to face Bryce with a grin. Hooking one finger in his direction, she began walking backwards and beckoned for him to follow. Just in case he decided not to, Rory used just a dash of her powers and suddenly several sets of eyes were on her. A handful of guys pushed forward through the crowd, dying for her attention. Wishing for just one dance. But she had eyes only for Bryce.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Guest December 28th 2013, 2:16 am

Jacky walked gracefully into the room. Her heels making small click noises as she goes. She turned around and looked at Cheshire. Her dear Chesh. She smiled broadly and her curls bounced slightly. "Sono così eccitata! Amo ballare non ti Cheshire?" She exclaimed excitedly. She took his hand in hers and lead him farther into the room. She was excited. She had been to an Italian ball, but not since. She turned around to face him and her silver dress swirled around her. "Il mio vestito sembra abbastanza bene per questo? Mi sento underdressed." She bit her bottom lip and waited for his answer.

There were so many people there. The place was absolutely beautiful! She thought Chesh looked adorable in his little red suit he had found. She looked around at all the people around them both. She bit her bottom lip once more and gazed up into Cheshire's familiar eyes. She was happy she had found him. She smiled to herself.

Cheshire:
Cheshire entered the building with a dark frown. He hated crowds. No, that's a lie. He loathed them. He hated balls. Well, that's a lie too. He liked them, and he loved to dance. But with a crowd..um...No. The only reason he came was because he knew how important this was to his Jacklynn. Looking over to her, Cheshire fixed his frown and gave her a smile. "Mi piace ballare, sì. Ma il mio Dio, c'è così tante persone qui." He paused though, taking in her dress for the thousandth time before he gazed across the room, taking in other girl's before he turned back to her. "Penso che sei bellissima. Inoltre, guardare a queste altre donne. Questo è ciò che io chiamo svestita. Hai un aspetto incredibile, Jacky." Taking her hand in his, Chesh lead Jacky into the crowd, holding back mews.

Suit: I'll get a picture soon.

Raven/Zoey:

Zoey twirled around their room, giggling as the hem of her
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] twirled out. "Oh, it's beautiful!" Zoey knew she couldn't see, but somehow..she knew it was perfect. Zoey felt beautiful..perfect. Her hair was in a simple high ponytail, and Raven had just recently put in a big bow that matched her dress in her hair. "I'm glad you like it." Raven chuckled, pleased with Zoey's reaction. She wasn't sure if her little bird would like it or not. Turning her green optics back to the mirror, Raven stared at her reflection. Her hair was her usual. Straightened purple hair. She was going to leave it down tonight, seeing that she didn't really know any adorable hair styles. Her [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] wasn't all that special either. Just something she pulled out of her closet. Smearing some lip gloss on, Raven pouted her lips a bit before she laughed, and stood. "Alright, Zoey Bird. It's time to go!" Sadly, they were walking. Zoey's idea, not Raven's. If Zoey wasn't so cute, Raven would have ordered a damned Cab, but Zoey thought differently. Besides, the ball's location wasn't that far away. It would take them...a few minuets or so. Walking out hand in hand, Raven hummed softly to keep Zoey calm, mainly because she was so excited the cutie kept bouncing off of walls!

By the time they reached the building, Raven's feet were aching. "Next time, I call a cab. Understand?" Raven growled down at Zoey, shaking her head. Zoey, not seeming to mind the long walk, swung their links hands, giggling. "Oh whatever grandma!" She squeaked, running forward to join the party. "Zoey!" Raven cried, watching her bump into people's legs. Walking after her, Raven apologized to the people around her, and scooped Zoey into her arms. "Little girl, you're testing me!" Raven playfully growled, giving the little thing a sloppy kiss on the cheek. People around them stared, but Raven was so caught up in the moment, she was oblivious to them. Setting her friend down, Raven petted her head before she bent down to fix Zoey's bow.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Kazuma Makoto December 31st 2013, 3:43 am

Just as boring as he had originally thought, Kazuma was never found of these type of gatherings anyways as they were always full with common folk and very seldom did aristocrats like him attend them. These people were lower class in his eyes and not worth his time at all, hell, he didn't care if some hot stud strutted right by him; he wouldn't even bat an eye in his general direct- As the hybrid's gaze skittered across the vast ball room, they landed on a pair that seemed to be looking back, right at him. Kazu raised an eyebrow, he didn't take more than a moment to give him a look over and damn how quick was he to go back on his word. Delectable... Simply delectable. Now, he looked like every other man in the room as far as his outfit went but there was just something in that guy's stare that caught Kazu's attention the most, but he snapped out of it eventually and turned back around. He probably was just wrong, maybe that male was looking at someone else, and more than likely he wasn't interested. Hardly any guys around Sotu nowadays seemed like that and Kazuma gave up looking. But what if... He whipped out a small collapsible mirror just to make sure nothing was smudged and it was a good thing that he checked for the white haired hybrid forgot to put his contacts in, quickly fixing that little problem he smirked in the mirror. Purple and gold eyes glancing up back to the male he had caught staring, Kazuma put his mirror away and easily rose to his feet, taking a breath he began to nonchalantly make his way in that direction as if he was heading to get a drink. Strutting on by, he glanced out the corner of his eyes waiting to catch him looking again, he was hoping actually, but something else made Kazu look elsewhere. A familiar scent was in the air, two as a matter of fact, it appeared that his two visitors were also here, interesting... Still feeling bad about how he had snapped on both Raven and her young companion Zoey the hybrid just had to swing on over to them, and so he did rather quickly.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Constance Scott December 31st 2013, 3:51 am

As she was being whisked around by the delightful vampire who was apart of her clan by the mark on his inner wrist she had given to him. She twirled around and then was dipped her back arching. That's when she paused as she saw two girls make their way through the crowd. One was a sparky red head the other was a mysterious brunette. Shrugged she began to take note of the other beings here. She spotted a girl was tons of different styled tattooing along her arm as well as some ink against her thigh. Constance thought she was rather good-looking. Sweeping her gaze towards two vampires she picked up their Italian and gave a small smirk. That's when she was brought back up and twirled around the dance floor again noticing that there were others coming along. As soon as the dance was over she began to make her way around towards the table. She saw the thick red liquid and instantly grabbed one keeping it inbetween her fingers and thumbs. She traveled around the area until she noticed that there was a familiar scent in the air.

She paused, this individual had a feline yet power vampire smell towards them. She took in another deep breath and her golden orbs landed straight on a young gentlemen who she had noticed had stopped to watch all the dancers. Easily making her way through the crowd she stopped beside him just a mere few inches. Then she noticed that one of her warriors were nearby and she looked towards him. He bowed and she gave a soft curtsy of course his eyes were barely able to keep on her face they kept going lower or just starring at her girls. She shrugged not minding she began to make idle chat towards him and once he excused himself her blood was halfway empty. She watched as an empty silver platter came towards her and just as he walked by she placed her drink against it and he didn't even look up just kept walking. Soon enough she had found herself a closer towards the other vampire, "Hello there, darling." She said in her heavily British accent, "Haven't seen you around my territory so you obviously are new. I'm Constance Scott. You are?" Of course she simply just was making conversation with the vampire and she could almost feel his uneasiness as more wolves showed up, "The mutts can't hurt you. They are on a tight leash in neutral territories." She gestured towards one male he was tall lean but muscular and he sure had a way with the ladies. She watched with pure annoyance, "That is Dante Hawthorne. Leader of those damn mutts." She snuffed in pure disgust.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Guest December 31st 2013, 3:32 pm

Strutting through the vast doors his dark eyes looked out at the crowd and took a deep breath. Why he was here he wasn’t sure. Standing in the door his messy dark hair was combed down and parted to the side. Dressed in a black Armani tuxedo with a silver bow tie was tied around his muscular neck. Multiple familiar scents hit his nose but the closest one caught his eye first. Aurora, his little Fae. A charming smile lit up James’ face. She was dancing with another male. Watching them for a few moments he spotted Constance out of the corner of his eye. Turning his head away from the two for a moment he watched his Constance for a moment and remembered he had to talk to her but she seemed preoccupied. Deciding against talking to her his midnight blue eyes went back to his little Fae as she danced with the Deadwood male. Rory was breathtaking in her beautiful dress and he couldn’t help but be a little jealous of the male as he got to dance with her. Sighing there was nothing he could do about it he looked at all of the wonderful decorations. Noticing yet another female he recognized he smiled it was Laundi. Oh she was intriguing that was for sure. However she did enjoy ditching him. Looking back at Aurora he noticed the song had changed and he walked forward cutting through the crowd easily. He was careful not to touch people and all of their dresses or tuxedoes. Brushing past Rory he offered a charming smile, “Hi there my dear. Mind if I steal this dance?” James asked her his dark blue orbs sparkling as he completely ignored Bryce offering her his hand grinning charmingly.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Kazuma Makoto December 31st 2013, 4:27 pm

Silas:
More and more of them were starting to show up, more of those wretched mongrels his mother and father hated more than any other creature out there, the urge to hunt was barely suppressed as he watched them mingle and dance and carry on worry free. It wouldn't be easy to dispatch one right here without causing a scene and with so many of those werewolves crawling around he would have a hard time getting away with it. Pack animals they were, and they would protect their own. Silas didn't have a chance in hell here and he was not about to shame his parents by losing to those mutts. They would be disgraced with him if he did that... Fidgeting around with the button on his sleeve, Silas tried to stay far from those dogs but it was difficult seeing as how spread out they were and it made him feel caged, what if things took a turn for the worst... He was not paying attention to the other scents that were surrounding him and had not been aware that someone of great power was approaching him, Silas didn't look up till but a moment before she was on him. His dark brown eyes drifted from the floor upwards along the female's form taking his time till he reached her face, by then his orbs had widened visibly and Silas had taken a quick sniff. This was the one he had smelled earlier, the one that he could easily pick out anywhere. The woman before him was a vampire of great power, like his parents, and more than likely the leader of a nearby coven. Intimidating... Silas was brought up to respect vampires like this and quickly did he bow his head till she began to speak to him, he straightened back up immediately and kept his eyes with her's. At first he thought she was going to perhaps threaten him for being on her land, he had seen others before do that to strange vampires trespassing, but that was not the case with... Constance, she said her name was. Silas gave another bow as she introduced herself and did the same for himself."Silas Malvagio, son of Sebastian and Scarlet." He told her with great pride, but quickly shut up so she could continue talking. The young vampire felt a wave of relief as soon as she assured him that none of those foul beasts could lay a paw on him while he was here, it eased him greatly. Now, Silas was a killer and would not hesitate to dispatch one like he was trained to do, but in all honest he was terrified. Ever since the incident back home when he was attacked at a young age he had been fearful... Silas nodded and began to relax, his gaze followed her finger as she pointed out a certain individual, Dante, the alpha of all the filthy dogs that were here. He watched him as he danced with some poor mortal, oh if only she knew what kind of beast he really was, that girl would scream. They parted after the song ended and Silas watched as he moved on over to another, one in a mysterious mask. His attention returned to Constance once more, biting his lip as he looked her over again.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Samantha Deadwood December 31st 2013, 6:29 pm

Sam and the boys

Bryce was a bit surprised to see the young girl leave so quickly. However he just shrugged and looked towards the young fairy. Giving a simple smile of that devilish yet boyish grin. He watched her moving his gaze around her form admiring her show of skin. Hey, not his fault he was a guy. Suddenly he just stopped not wanting to be all creepy like. Then his gaze registered towards Rory as he said his name. His gaze playful though it turned to shock, she would want to dance with him? However before he could even give her a yes he was swooped towards the dance floor by the hand. She notice her gaze fall towards the mystery girl with the mask and she seemed to have a stiff form. He didn't pay much attention to her, as soon as his hand was deprecated from hers. He looked towards her noticing her finger as it beckoned him forwards. Almost like an obedient dog he made his strides even though quick and suddenly he felt a desire. A yearn towards her. He quickly connected his hand against her own and then placed the other against her lower back before taking a step forward then backwards.

He starred towards her with an alluring smile his dark midnight eyes cascaded with thick lashes. Moving her along the dance floor in smooth strides and then he grabbed her hand twirling her around before dipping her back. Dark blue gaze soft and he was slowly moving towards her lips when he heard someone to the side of them. Lifting her back up he gave a gentlemen like bow, before taking her hand and kissing it softly, "A pleasure to have had this dance, Tinkerbell." With that said he handed her hand towards the vampire with a cold glare. Then walked off the dance floor but it wasn't long before he was dancing with another young gal.

Lucas instantly noticed that the rather attractive white haired male was able to catch his stare so easily. He looked away a little shyly and once more looked up this time noticing his eyes a very distinctive of two colors and might he add how beautiful they were. His eyes watching him start to cut across the dance floor towards him and watched him do a walk by. He was starring right towards his butt and he gave a soft smirk. Just as he was about to go talk to the rather cute and delectable boy he was shot down as he watched the other walk off towards a new arrival. Quickly did he make his way towards the refreshments and asked for a scotch.

Samantha was maneuvering around the floor with the young man. Her form stiff at first because she was trying to hard not to fall on her butt with these heels on. She twirled around once and then the song ended. She gave a curtsy as he bowed towards her and led her off the dance floor. She noticed Rory and Bryce dancing and she gave a smirk. Though soon she saw Rory and Bryce /almost/ kiss! Her eyes snapped wide and she was shocked that she saw a vampire just waltz on over there. Her eyes rolled and as she stood alone which was rather peaceful and she just swayed with the music. Suddenly, her gaze registered on a pair of familiar blues. She felt her jaw drop and she quickly made it go back up. Oh crap, oh crap! What if he asked her to dance, she'd have to say yes, Rory held up to her deal and she had hold up to her own. She straightened herself up as she soon noticed a young man from the pack. He made his way over and began to talk to her she gave an easy smile and began to talk to him as well. They laughed softly and then they began to talk about video games and skateboarding. She was attempting to make friends and so far it was going pretty well.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Laundi Konta January 1st 2014, 1:16 am

Laundi stood leaning against the table of foods and drinks, drinking blood from a wine glass. She watched as others came in the doors and looked around, talked, danced and loved. In it all Laundi was rather content with being on her own, being alone. A purple haired werewolf made her way to the table of goodies and Laundi set her now empty glass on the table and crossed her arms over her chest and stood on foot while she placed the tip of the other shoe up and stood there. Laundi watched the purple haired dog look over the table out if the corner of her eye and licked her fangs inside her lips and went to wall away but before she could take a step the other spoke to her. She complimented Laundi's tattoos and she nodded once. "Thanks.." She said blankly before turning toward the table and grabbing a bottle of whatever she saw, luckily it was Vodka. She took a swig of it and instead of walking away she kept leaning against the table. Laundi figured she'd get drunk and occupy herself instead of standing here alone, sober. "I like your uh.." She took a swig and pointed the tip of the bottle to the girls hair. "Hair." Even though Laundi hated the color purple she might as well lie to make some sort of fake friend. "And to whom am I speaking too?" She asked quietly, taking another swig and setting the bottle behind her onto the table. Laundi bent slightly and smoothed out her dress and readjusted her hair, her blue gauges glossy finish catching the light and shining slightly before her hair covered them again. She grabbed the Vodka bottle and took yet another swig and unlocked her jaw as it became stuck, flashing her fangs slightly she scratched her forehead and looked to the one next to her.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Kazuma Makoto January 1st 2014, 12:42 pm

Dante:

What an pleasant night it had been so far for the werewolf leader, sure he was drinking but it wasn't excessively and he found that he could do so and still enjoy himself. He was not aiming to get drunk so early for once and after two or three drinks Dante stopped and resumed being the social butterfly that he was, mingling with different little groups here and there, mostly wolves of his own, and of course he had to ask every pretty girl he saw to dance with him. Majority of them couldn't resist his charm though others were taken and their jealous little boyfriends always gave him a cold look and a wise ass comment. Didn't phase Dante one bit, he wasn't looking for trouble tonight and moved on his merry way after being rejected like that. One girl had caught his attention from a mile away, her face hidden by a mask which made her that much more interesting to him and sparked his curiosity, Dante had made his way nonchalantly across the room going straight for her. The man did not know just who it was that he was going after, he didn't know that this girl was Sam whom he had shared words with, Dante wouldn't think that a tom boy like her would ever attend one of these events. Cool blue gaze washing over her form, the lycan finally approached and turned his eyes back up to her face hidden behind a masquerade, he gave her his signature grin as he presented himself."I don't mean to interrupt you two, but I couldn't help but notice how ravishing you look this evening. Care to have the next dance with me?" Dante asked waiting eagerly for her response. He had no clue that it was Sam, her scent was well covered so there was no way for Dante to know that the wolf he was about to dance with was a person he really couldn't stand.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Samantha Deadwood January 1st 2014, 1:32 pm

Samantha's gaze hadn't traveled towards the alpha perhaps he would feel like they were in too deep of a conversation to bother us. Oh no, she couldn't be anymore wrong. She was in a conversation about the newest Call of Duty. Saying the cons and pros of it before she felt the familiar voice behind her. Her eyes widened behind her mask and the pack member formally greeted the alpha saying that he wasn't interrupting anything. She rolled her eyes luckily enough she wasn't faced towards him. Slowly did the familiar stranger turn her gaze around focusing against his own eyes. She gave a simple smile trying to make herself more pleasant. As he asked her for the next song she gave an easy nod, "It would be a pleasure." She said her voice soft and calm. Trying to turn back to the conversation but instead the other wolf was talking towards the alpha about the pack and how he was enjoying the party and all the idle conversation topic you can imagine.

The guy talked way to much anyway and once the song was over and the claps began to looked towards Dante, "I believe it is your turn to dance with me." She said lightly and held out her hand for him to take. As she was lead towards the dance floor for yet another time she placed her left arm against his shoulder and the right hand was placed in his own that's when the music started and she almost wanted to groan it was a slow dance. Why out of all songs they played this evening it was a slow dance. She waited for him to take the lead into guiding her around the dance floor. However she did start a conversation feeling as how they will be dancing for a few more moments then a fast song would have allowed them, "So... Dante." She started out, "enjoying yourself and scoring with all the ladies?" She joked with a playful laugh.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Dante Hawthorne January 3rd 2014, 11:22 am

Dante continued to smile brightly and charmingly as he waited for her answer on his dance proposal, it looked very hopeful for him and when she said 'yes' he was thrilled to take her onto the floor after the song was over. His gaze transferred from the mysterious girl in the mask to a fellow pack member of his who sparked up a conversation easily, charming little male he was, Dante was glad to hear that his wolves were enjoying themselves here. Every one of them that he ran into was having a great evening and one even suggested that their pack should organize one someday. He took it under consideration for now. As the song hit it's end, quickly did the masked woman speak up which also brought an end to the males' conversation, nodding towards the girl he bid his pack member a good evening before he lead her towards the dance floor with all the other pairs. This time around it was a slow song but he didn't mind, Dante enjoyed the slower songs. The lycan clasped a gentle hand around her own and placed his other on her side as they slowly began to dance around the floor, she wasn't half bad at it, at least he wasn't getting his feet stepped on this time. Dante had thought that he had never met this woman before though she knew him by name and he had yet to properly introduce himself, it threw him off a bit but he assumed maybe word had gotten around. Someone probably tipped her off about him girl hopping tonight. Oh well. Her next statement confirmed that and he just gave a brief chuckle, half smiling."Of course I am enjoying myself tonight, but I am not looking to score, just to show you lovely ladies a good time." He told her truthfully, bringing himself a bit closer and slowly slipped his hand out from hers to place it on her other side. Dante couldn't help his curiosity, he wanted to know what was under that mask of hers and leaned in slightly."Why hide your beauty?"

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Samantha Deadwood January 3rd 2014, 12:47 pm

She was slowly beginning to be less stiff and as she figured he knew how to dance. Huh? Who knew. Moving with his movements and being able to match his steps so they wouldn't step on his feet was hard. She stared towards him knowing soon enough they will go back at each other's throats. Realizing her stares she quickly moved her eyes into something else though her head was still pointed in his direction. Faulting a moment as she felt his hand slip from her she watched it in slow mo as it began to make it's way for her other hip. She held back a frown and then slowly brought her other hand to fall towards his neck. Crossing her hands against her other one they didn't move around as much instead it was more of a sway. Hearing his words she gave a small sniff, of course soon enough he would be going home with one of these girls tonight. It wouldn't be Dante if he didn't, instead she gave a soft 'huh' before actually voicing something, "I see, I'm glad you are enjoying yourself." The she-wolf said easily. As he leaned in closer she tensed if he tried anythi- the thought left her as he asked why she was hiding herself. She faltered from his gaze, beauty isn't the right word to say to her. She was far from it especially in comparison to all these other girls. However she regained her eyes with his own and gave a playful smirk, "The magic is in the mystery and once the mystery is gone, so is the magic..." She said in a calm and even tone, "Besides, I like when people go crazy over who the girl in the mask is and what is she hiding?" She played with the back of his hair and before as soon as she realized what she was doing she stopped, "Plus, it's not like anyone will care just who I am after this." She shrugged.

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Dante Hawthorne January 3rd 2014, 2:52 pm

Yes, he was having quite a wonderful time here at the ball and surprisingly he hadn't even gotten the slightest bit drunk either, all Dante wanted to do was have some fun and be sober, not even try to get laid or anything. It was different for him, yes, but sometimes people need to change. Besides, he had to unwind for a night. Keeping in step with her, he glided about easily but took note how she seemed to be slightly off, not that he was complaining though since Dante would gladly show her to ropes. This kind of dancing he excelled at, if you threw him in a night club he would be lost however and probably just sit at the bar the whole night, he wasn't used to the new age kind of dancing; grinding and whatnot. Dante was a gentleman, and a bit old school. His hands did not wander anywhere but on her hips, he didn't want to be too forward or give her a reason to slap him. She probably had plenty of guys try to feel her up tonight anyways and he didn't want to come off as another one of them; Dante was here as proof that there were still gentlemen out there. Soon, the song would be ending and their little dance would be over but maybe if he was lucky he would get another shot. He listened to her as she answered his previous question, her response causing him to smirk himself as it was a truly witty one. Yes, even as much as he wanted to pull off her mask right now he wouldn't intrude. A soft chuckle escaped him as she told him just much she enjoyed the craziness that people went through when girls hid their faces with masks, he was one of those people right now and surely this woman was getting a kick out of it. But he soon found himself frowning at that last statement. Why would she say such a thing? "Dear, do not put yourself down like that. You've got me curious as to who you really are... How's about we go out for lunch sometime, I'd like to get to know the real you better."

SOTU's Winter Ball Empty Re: SOTU's Winter Ball

Post by Samantha Deadwood January 3rd 2014, 4:01 pm

Samantha's eyes registered against his own, surprised that they actually looked so soft. Usually they were hard set especially when they were looking at her. So much hate blazed in his eyes as well as hers when they were at each other's throats. Though she didn't feel his hands go any lower like most males have been doing this evening. As soon as she was home she was soaking her feet they hurt so bad in these darn heels. Moving in a steady movement she listened to the soft piano and guitar as they made soft duo and then the flutes and the saxophone came in to aid them. It was somewhat peaceful and she /almost/ was enjoying herself. Eyes walking around the many people in the room a few males looking towards her and a few girls were looking towards him. She almost seemed to trip but luckily enough it wasn't to big of a mistake and she caught herself. Bright silver hues returned towards his own and she widened them a bit. If he knew the real her they would soon find themselves fighting right now. However, she gave a soft smirk and laughed softly "Hmm... The real me? Well, I guess I can meet you somewhere." She said softly. Just as she thought that soon enough the song will be over and they will be on our different ways she heard a wicked little giggle. Sam's gaze watched as a witch wiggled her little fingers and she turned her head to see something green moving around the room. She rolled her eyes and continued to dance with him when all of a sudden she turned her eyes upwards. She didn't know why but something just told her to take a peak. There... Right above them was a floating mistletoe plant. Instantly Sam froze and she looked towards Dante. Really?! Why that little, she sniffed lowly and then tensed visibly but tried to keep herself relaxed. She couldn't really get out of it this time, that simple little plant had to have struck up on a little negative spark she had towards him and those witches just wanted to see her miserable. Well that wouldn't happen today instead she squared her shoulder, "Huh, well what do you know..." She said surprisingly shy as she turned her gaze towards the floor.
