Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~ AnnaRubyFallsChattahoocheeNationalF

Birds chirped and sang all around as the buzz of the insects made their prescence known. Amazed at the beauty of the forest she found herself touching everything from the bark on the trees to the petals of the flowers. She had wondered far with out knowing it, it was only when she heard a rush of movement did she stop and listen. As she waited for it to happen again it didn't, so she kept moving. Coming across a bed of flowers she nelt to smell them, closing her eyes. As time passed her eyes opened, she felt as if something were watching her. Standing she looked about but couldn't see anything. Her eyes roamed the area one more time before she decided to head back.

She continued to walk but the forest seemed to stretch on forever. The sun had began to set, the last rays filtering through the tree lines. Surely she should have made it back to town already? Stopping she turned in a circle noting the different trees. She didn't remember the wide one with the mushrooms growing off it. Was she lost? She sighed and nibbled her lips. Know one knew she was here... hell she didn't even know anyone.. best to keep moving, so she did.

It was sometime later when she heard a rustling noise again coming from her right. Swinging her gaze in that direction, her fear spiked at the thought of what
it could be. As nothing charged her she nodded and wrapped her arms about herself. "Release me." Emma stopped again as she heard the throaty whisper with clarity. She heard it a second time before she was able to call out, "Hello?! Who are you??" Her question was met by silence, an eerie feeling came of her...

A twig snapped on the otherside making Emma twist in that direction. Out of the corner of her eye she could have sworn she saw something move, but as she looked at it full on she didn't see anything. The voice came louder but it seemed as if it was coming all around her. Panick had her running. Dodging the tall trees and shrubs she moved as fast as she could wanting to get out. She could hear something chasing her and it was gaining on her.

Frantinc she looked about for what direction, seeing last of the sun's rays she ran towards it. She ran and ran. She was almost to sun when something
large and heavy collided into her back. She screamed frantically as she felt teeth tear into her shoulder. "Save us!" the voice growled threateningly.

~~~
Emma woke screaming. Spirperation coated her foread. Breathing heavily she tanked her sleave down and prodded her skin for puncture wounds. It hurt, but she
couldn't feel any wounds. Closing her eyes she sighed as she controlled her breathing, wrapping her arms about her legs. As she sat and calmed down,
the sound of birds singing filtered through her ears. She started and looked up in haste. No! Scrambling to her feet she couldn't beleive she was here...it was just a dream...how did she get here...She couldn't beleive it and as she saw where she was panic set in. She took a step back but there was no earth for her foot. She felt herself falling as she fell. Another scream left her mouth as she reached for anything to grab onto. her nails sank into the dirt as the rocks she grabbed for didn't hold as she kept falling. "No I am not about to die this way!" Finally her fingers grasped a long vine that held. Clutching it with dear life, she dared looked down. As reached for the ledge to pull herself up, the vine gave way but didn't snap. She felt herself falling again before she hit the jagged rocks below. The impact snapped her left her, the bone protruding out, she hit her head hard and blacked out.
The inhabitants of the forest went on as normal. Birds flew from tree to tree and sang their songs to one another. As the hours passed and the sky turned to dark, the crickets and lightening bugs came out to play, their chirps and lights glowing in the husky night. A pesky deer came to drink from the water’s edge as it pulsed against the sand bar and beaver dam.
The water receded only to come back sloshing against her clothes. The fabric she wore absorbing the wetness, making it cling to her body. Eyes snapped open, and the golden hue of the wolf’s pupil ate up the crystalline pigmentation until there was but a few flecks in her iris’. The head and torso rose, water droplets racing down her back from the ends of her hair. She cocked her head, listening to the rush of the water as it fell from above. The chirpiness of the animals quieted as if sensing a predator was now here, awake. It rose on two wobbly legs, and snuffed back a growl not used to be in control as a “human”. The scent of blood reached her nose, faint. She turned her head towards her broken arm, saw the bone protruding out of it, without a seconds thought she snapped her arm back together with a hiss, her lycan genes quick to fix the injury. Leaving it to heal on its own, she stepped out from the water the clothing constricting, she couldn’t fathom how the girl moved in such bindings, the stupid twit…no, this was her father to blame, him and the bitch that had birthed her. The lycan spirit could feel her essence about to leave, she had no ties to a pack and hadn’t been close to a shifter or were since her birth…hating it had left her weak…She shook her head and headed deeper into the forest, she needed to find shelter for Emma…this body. She raised her head and sniffed her senses heighted but not 100% in this form and she hadn’t the energy or will power to shift on her own, not yet any way.
She continued to scent and search for a place for Emma to rest, to come back to her senses. She couldn’t leave her out on her own…The wind stirred bringing with it the scent of others: warmth, fur, a pack. She didn’t know how far off they were…but she continued in that direction until she couldn’t any longer. Her legs gave out and she fell to her knees. She looked around and her eyes settled onto a fallen tree, crawling to it she dug the rotted leaves out from the hole it created. Breathing hard, her eye sight began to dim around the edges. “I will be strong for the both of us Em, but I need a little help here. I need you to remember who you are..!” Sighing, a human emotion, Wolf conjured up the last of her energy changing her vocal cords to that of a wolf and howled. The wind snatched her plea, carrying it on its current to awaiting ears.
Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~ Empty Re: Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~
Annie had soon enough made we way from Thane and the she-wolf. She didn't want to over stay herself and the she-wolf scared her knowing she had no chance against her if she were to challenge her for the male. She would easily surrender as she had no reason to have him since she barely knew him. He was sweet though, she would have to visit him again when there were more wolves around. She padded along the dark woods as she didn't know where she was going but thought it was somewhat unwise to go to the Lycan woods for the moment. However, she didn't rely on her gut and had to pass into the woods to get to the waterfall. She sniffed and that's when she smelt blood her eyes widened and she saw a few wolves that the Alpha had sent out to go search for the remaining humans, if there were any. She quickened her pace not wishing to be caught up with the warrior wolves.
However, the warriors didn't think that she would be able to pass that easily. Two younger wolves followed after her they were about eighteen and they soon enough reached the waterfall just as she did. Her coat shined as the different grays and blacks with white tuffs. She paused in mid-step as she heard something and soon enough her gaze shot forward. The bright aquamarine eyes had starred straight at the two males. She instantly coward and began to back away, they had quickly moved in. Annie felt a sharp nip against her right flank and she yelped softly as she scooted away from the other but soon enough felt another nip to her left flank. She whined softly and they both began to circle her once again, "Well, what do we have here the little omega out and alone." The one smirked as he scooted closer to the she-wolf his body pressed against her as he nuzzled into her shoulder. Annie tried to sidestep away from him but as his growl came from his chest she lowered herself practically to the ground, "P-P-Please, d-don't hurt m-me." She stuttered out as she always did when she was nervous.
They both laughed and began to mock at her stuttering and then shoved her downwards. She fell to her stomach and didn't so much as try to get up. They were stronger then her and it wasn't like she could fight them on her own. She was... Her ears pulled down as she whimpered, "Oh, shut up omega. You know she isn't that bad looking for being of the lower class." Annie whined softly and looked for a way out the other smirked and nodded quickly, "Nah, she ain't that bad. Wonder what her human form looks like. How about it sweetheart, wanna show us your skin without furr." He smirked and moved to lick against her ear. She whimpered and pulled them down, "I-I don't want to..." She said softly and they growled as that was not what they wanted to hear. Instantly they leapt forward and began to bite and claw at the lesser she-wolf. She yelped and jumped forward from them as they began to move after her. She ran forward swiftly as she tried to get some distance away from the two males her ears low and tail tucked.
Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~ Empty Re: Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~
Post by Pierce Lothington December 24th 2014, 1:22 am
Pierce didn't have many friends, he truly didn't. He came to his current pack and he respected the Alpha and the higher ranks rightfully and he just joined right in, he was no one special and he didn't stick out in his mind. He blended with the other wolves just fine, except he was large. Huge. He was tall, built, black hair and oddly colored eyes in both forms. He was 'beta material' 'alpha material' as his father drilled it into his head. His father had said the day that he died, Pierce would take the throne and thrive off the power, his father said Pierce was so power hungry and he craved the feeling of power but that wasn't right. Pierce just wanted to be taken care of. He didn't want to be hit and called names 'worthless mutt' 'runt' and the next he was being loved upon, it confused Pierce and it ruined him. He pushed everyone who could possibly ever care about him away. He didn't crave power, he craved love and affection, he craved everything his father never gave him. He didn't know how he could crave something he never had but he knew he needed it and he needed it bad. His father was never truly proud of him, every time he said he was it was in mockery and a huge lie, his fathers eyes twitched when he lied and it seemed they never stopped twitching. Every single praise was false hope, crushed dreams and smothered happiness, Pierce was a prisoner to his own father and there was no way out. He thought it was normal to be abused by your father, to be treated such ways and used by people for his power and his looks and ways. He only found out after he ran away and lived on his own for a few years that that kind of behavior from his father was not right. Pierce was blamed for his mothers death and now he was the killer of his father. The guilt was killing him and it was tearing him down for years and years until finally he finally just shut himself down. He stopped caring and he stopped thinking too much and letting people in. He just shut down. He was no longer a wounded pup. Or at least that was what he told himself. He was so broken and he placed a piece of tape over the cracks and shatters but now, the tape was ripping away. He didn't know what to do other than lash out and try harder and harder to keep his emotions and guilt at bay. So he kept himself shut off and became what he was supposed to be according to his father, a beta. He didn't know if he deserved this but he wanted to do something right for his father.... He never did anything right and hopefully his father was proud. Actually proud. Maybe he was smiling at him from hell, maybe he was frowning.
Pierce walked through the woods, he was patrolling the pack territories to check and make sure everything was running smoothly and there were no unwanted guests and to keep himself away from people, mostly to be alone. Lonely darkness was what he was used to and now it was like is poisonous security blanket, every time he touched it hurt him but he needed it. His boots crushed everything beneath them, he cracked sticks and smothered small plants and leaves. His leather jacket was covering his upper half and underneath he wore nothing but a simple grey shirt, he didn't dress to impress. He dressed to be dressed. He wore his normal dogtags that held his parents names and his own. He wore simple jeans and his boots and that's what he called an outfit. It wasn't dirty looking, it could pass as 'put together' and it was sure as hell good enough for him. He wasn't about looks, he was about performance. He was aching for blood, he craved it most days. The way it was warm fresh from the form, the way it slipped down his hands and neck, his chin, how it'd stain his skin if left there long enough before being washed off. The way it stained his teeth for days, the way it tasted... He craved it. He needed it. He wasn't like most beta's.
Pierce walked quietly, hands loose, finger curled slightly as he walked with his normal saunter. Just as he looked down at his nails and debated taking a turn to head across the territory and patrol that direction he heard the sound of a yelp then footsteps... paws. three sets. Rapid. Running. Pierce narrowed his eyes and he inhaled deeply, he'd scented one of the wolves before the other two were very brief encounters. The omega was one of them. She a beautiful, shy little thing that Pierce rather liked but she was always picked on and that infuriated him. He didn't say anything to stop it though, he knew the ranks and the permissions and respect shown to each rank. Sadly her rank was not in her favor. Pierce ran forward, his body moving swiftly between trees as he took two steps and hopped up off his back foot and landed with two paws then the other followed suit with a thud. He raced after the sound and scent of the others, his head tucked slightly as he felt the cool air wash over his black form. He moved literally like a phantom, his dark form blending with the dark silhouettes of the trees and logs, boulders and other things and he merged with the shadows. He ran, his front paws landing between his hind ones before they extended away from each other a great distance forming his stride and repeating. His breathing picked up slightly and he finally pinpointed the runners and he growled softy as he swerved from the other side of a tree ran alongside the wolf nearest the omega and he snarled, his stride matching the fellow wolfs. He was much faster than this wolf but he kept his stride even and the same speed and after two or so strides he snarled and pushed off with his left paws, ramming his shoulder then the rest of his body against the other wolf, due to the momentum he found himself rolling and sliding a few yards before they both stilled and he was hovering over the other wolf, his ears flattened against his skull, his tail was raised high and twitching slightly at the end, "Chasing after what isn't yours to chase? How stereotypical you. You just had to chase the omega, huh? Why? Because it makes you feel powerful making her feel afraid and small, chasing her down until she caves and you can do what you want? Because all your pathetic friends do it too? Because seeing her submit gives you some adrenaline rush, a feeling of power? I'll show you an adrenaline rush. The next time I see you near her, within even fifty feet of her I will kill you and I just hope you can run faster than you did tonight. You'll never experience an adrenaline rush quite like the one when you're running for your life. Literally." Pierce snarled and walked off the wolf and headed for this ones friend. This shit was not going to fly around him.
Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~ Empty Re: Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~
Post by Anastasia Lucian December 24th 2014, 2:00 am
The padding of their paws bore into her ears as she could practically feel their breath down her neck. She was smaller, slimmer, and much faster then the two moderate sized teenage wolves. Her legs carried her far and she was scarred, practically running for her life. Why was she always the one to get pick on... She knew that answer, so why was she even asking that ridiculous question. Her strides were long as her heart hammered in her chest and it wasn't just because of the running. Her adrenaline pumped through her sending her flying across the woodsy area. The two males following after but yet to gain on her a few times they had exceeded tier limit and caught up only to give her a good nip on the flank before she rushed forward and left them in the dust. They called to her saying that she had better stop before she gets it worse. Which only made her run faster, she was looking for an escape to get out of the punishment she was bound to receive. She was starting to loose hope and thought it best just to accept the beating she would get rather than run considering they would just find her later.
The two males continued on and they snarled as she kept gaining distance. Soon enough the male closest to the she-wolf had realized a large brute had decided to join the chase. He growled lowly unknowing just who this wolf was. He felt the he-wolf glide against his shoulder and that's when he felt the impact which made him trip over his paws and slide across the ground. The wolf was about to get up when he felt the large wolf get on top of him. His companion skidded to a halt and looked at the wolf once realizing that it was the beta himself he quickly submitted. Ears down and tail between his legs as he junked down towards the ground. The one pinned looked up to his unique colored eyes and gave a low whimper as he pulled his ears down and showed his belly. They couldn't disrespect the Alpha's second in command and they wouldn't want to even if he wasn't. Annie had skidded to a halt as she heard the whimpering and she turned her bright blue gaze to focus on the situation at hand.
She had never been close to the Beta, hell, never even once said hi as she was completely and utterly afraid of him. He had the exterior that just told you not to mess with him. Anastasia was shocked at his words as she strained to listen and even came a little closer. Tail still tucked but she looked to the warrior who continued to whine with each word, "I'm sorry Beta... I promise we won't come near her again." He said and felt the weight of the larger male get off of him. As he went towards his companion he had already shot off of fear from getting a good bite. The other one shot off in the same direction tails tucked as their whimpering continued all the way to take them straight to the comfort of their mothers.
It was just him and Annie now and the poor she-wolf couldn't even move as the powerful beta had stood up for her, an omega. She watched him for a few seconds not knowing how to breath and finally she hunkered down and began to go towards him. Her body at a respectful angle as she was close enough she eased her head upwards and began to lick under his chin as a sign of submission as well as her gratitude for saving her. She eased herself backwards unknowing what to say. Her said was facing him so he would be able to have access to her belly if he wished to strike at her. She blinked slowly and then looked as she realized her right shoulder was bleeding from the squabble one of them had bit her pretty hard at the breaking of skin occurred. It would heal soon enough, she needed some water to possibly shift and wipe her arm off but she was too scared to move. She whined softly and soon was against her belly as she reached around straining her neck to lick at her wound. That's when she cleared her throat and spoke softly as if he would squish her like a blood, "I-I'm A-A-Annie." She sputtered out completely embarrassed because her stutter had started to come now. She closed her eyes and tried to calm down, "Thank you, Beta for saving me out not many wolves would want to help out an omega." She said softly as she pulled her eyes downwards and once more began to lick at the blood which the warmth still indicated it was still bleeding.
Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~ Empty Re: Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~
Post by Pierce Lothington December 24th 2014, 10:29 am
Pierce payed no attention to their submitting to his power and rank, he was out for blood. He knew he shouldn't be and should respect and at least take to mind their respect and submission shown toward him, but he was blood thirsty. Pierce's chest was heaving with anger and his incurable lust for blood, he licked his lips as he approached the other wolf, his head was slightly lowered and his eyes narrowed, ears pinned and tail high and swaying mockingly behind him. He was stalking his prey, that was the lightest term. Then his prey took off, Pierce debated chasing down the fool or letting him be and decided on the latter, he had better things to do than waste his energy and time on a helpless mutt. Then his head turned and that's when the other wolf took off behind his friend, Pierce flattened his ears in annoyance and his tail slowly lowered and his lips remained curled up as a continuous low hum of a growl made noise in the quiet area. They promised they wouldn't be around her again but he'd be the one to make sure of that, he huffed and shook out his body, his black fur ruffled and shook with the aggressive shaking of his body and he sighed softly, licking his lips. Finally, he turned his attention to the omega. He stood there, not necessarily as dominant as he did over the warriors but he defiantly wasn't submitting or being neutral. His tail wasn't raised and his ears weren't pinned, he just stood tall, head up as he watched her approach him. He stood his ground, weight shifting around on all four of his paws. He flicked his ears gently as he felt her tongue connect with the underside of his jaw, he just waited for her to be done and then he shifted his weight once more, restlessly, he smelled blood. He swallowed thickly and licked the corner then up toward his nose on his ink colored lips and then he brought his tongue back inside his mouth.
Pierce didn't want to hurt her, he had no reason to and he probably wouldn't ever hurt her unless the alpha commanded he did so. Pierce didn't double cross an alpha, no matter the gender, he just didn't. He was respectful and he obeyed, he was a loyal wolf. Pierce watched her as he moved back away from him, she was small... Cute. Pierce eased his tense stance and slowly he sat down on his haunches, his hinds legs under him as he sat regally, without really much thought, this was how his father taught him to sit. He was still taller than her and he just kept his red eyes on her form. That's when she spoke and his tail flicked slightly behind him over the dark ground, Annie? Her stutter was adorable and he almost smiled, almost. Pierce didn't smile much. He nodded briefly, "My name is Pierce. But I'm sure you know that given no one can keep their damn mouth shut around here. I'm the Beta... But you probably knew that, too." His tone was normal but even his normal tone with deep and gruff, low and growly. When she thanked him for saving her his ears lowered in slight sympathy, so he was the only to save her? No one usually saved her? He sighed softly through his nose and his nostrils flared slightly when he did so. He stood up and stepped toward her, she was bleeding, that's where the smell of blood came from... "I'm not like 'many wolves,' babe. I'm not like any of the other wolves. And I suggest you remember that for... future reference." He smirked softly, it was more of a half smile but it would be seen as a smirk. He noticed her licking her wound and walked over with falter or hesitation in his step as he watched her, "Stand. His tone wasn't too demanding, it was gentle as well. He wanted to tend to her wound, she deserved someone to take care of her, even if it be for a few minutes. But he hoped he'd see her again. Before she even stood he started to lick at her wound, his tongue sliding gently over her fur and the wound, the blood was he craved but he wasn't doing it for the blood for once... He was doing it for her sake, health, well-being and care. He flattened his ears slightly to keep then out of the way as he licked at the wound and waited for her to stand so he could continue at an easier angle, bending over this much wasn't so comfortable.
Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~ Empty Re: Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~
Post by Anastasia Lucian December 24th 2014, 3:18 pm
Her eyes were against the large wolf as she was puny compared to him. She watched his body language aggressive towards the young wolves who had taken off. She didn't want to see a fight as they were just being like the other wolves when it came to their ranks. It was her duty to be the pack's punching bag as well as scapegoat. Something happened? Paws point to Annie and she couldn't defend herself who would speak on behalf of her. The wolves saw her as worthless, she knew she was a worthless type but she was proud to be an omega as well. At least she had a home to call her own, no friends though, except for the few pups around camp and Thane. Her thoughts traveled towards the rogue who had spared her the humiliation of a lashing when she had tripped over him. Bright blue gaze now looked up towards the male-wolf his coat as dark as the sky without the moon and stars, she soon enough had looked into his eyes. They were like pools of crimson blood, possibly resembled the blood of his victims. She gulped and hunkered lower afraid she may be next.
Her gaze had wondered over him as she noticed his body language had changed from being on the verge of killing to a much more easy tone as if explaining to her that his fight wasn't with her. She didn't dare move away from her cowering stance as she was in the presence of the second in command. Annie's eyes widened as he spoke his voice was deep and gruff like as she gave a small nod to his words, "Yes, Beta. I know who you are." She said softly and she best remember that considering that he was her superior. His next words surprised her, even as he had called her babe, which was even more alarming. The last sentence caught her off guard, "And I suggest you remember that for... future reference." She would have asked further what he meant as to if he would even consider them bumping into each other again. Certainly he was just teasing her but she gave a low dip of her head and in a respectful tone whimpered out, Yes, Beta.
She soon enough watched as the male was beginning to come closer towards her. She whimpered softly and continued to hold herself to the ground. Annie's bright blue eyes shot upwards as they looked sad and frightened. As he ordered her to stand she was too stunned to but she soon watched as his muzzle moved towards her wound and then felt him began to lick at it. Slowly she stood upwards her muscles stiff from standing in a crouch for too long. She was surprised by his actions his rough tongue actually felt good against her skin as he began to clean her wound. She starred blankly out and just kept her mouth shut as she waited for him to give her another command. She pulled her ears back, "Beta? Why are you helping me? Certainly I am not much to fuss over." She said softly.
Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~ Empty Re: Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~
Post by Pierce Lothington December 24th 2014, 6:50 pm
Pierce huffed softly and continued licking the wound, even as she stood, even if it was after a pause, he kept licking the wound. Pierce saw the fear and sadness in her eyes and his ears remained slightly down, he didn't want to see her this way... Or anyone really. Pierce didn't want her to have to go through what he did any longer... He was treated like an omega by his father and he watched his father with the same, frightened and sad expression and he just cowered constantly. Pierce stepped back and licked his lips, watching her, when she asked why he was helping her, he was almost offended. Almost. It took a lot now to offend Pierce. He was the beta, it was his job to protect, look after and care for his pack, which he did... most of the time. "I'm the beta, it's my job to look after the pack and its members, regardless of rank... You're a body, too... With a soul and feelings, pain and you're just like everyone else except your rank holds you behind the rest... Of course you can't do anything about that, unless you work your ass off and what not for a few years and then-" Pierce huffed and he shifted his weight around on his paws before he sat again. "That is beside the point... If you do not want my help or my attention, you may go on your way. I saved you because I was in your same position one time in my life and it sucks." Pierce stood and began to pace around the small clearing of an area, examine the trees and what might be inside the shadows. He blended with the dark shadows and silhouettes perfectly, his eyes shown dimly. "I know by stereotypical pack norms, you're supposed to be picked on and left out, starved and blamed. But I don't you see as that. I see you as a member of the pack I'm also a member of, I see us as equals, we're both pack members. We just hold different names over our heads that affect us but we don't affect us, who we are, who we really are... That doesn't affect us here. Who we really are doesn't seem to matter now. All that matters is power," He took a step toward her, a stalking step. "Loyalty. Another step. "Bloodshed... He took one more step, inches from her now, "And belonging. It really is the strongest who survive around here. And you're still here, I say that says something about you." His head was lowered so he could look her dead in the eyes and he eased up, stepping back and raising his head again as he began to pace once more, always watching her out of the corner of his eyes. "Don't get me wrong... I will put you and anyone else in their place if needed but I say that respect is to be shown to those who deserve it and let me tell you... The warriors around here don't deserve anymore respect than you do and yet here I am, saving you. I'm constantly having to remind snotty, arrogant wolves where they stand around here. But you. You know your place, you know how shit runs. You know things and you're probably really sweet, despite being always hurt... I bet you just need someone to give you a chance, is that it? You just want someone to care about you and accept you, treat you like a actual being with feelings... And I'm offering to give you that. For free. Because I was like you. Because I know how it feels to think that everything you do is wrong, even when you've tried your best, you get shot down. I know how it feels and it sucks. I don't want you to feel that way anymore..." Pierce stopped talking, he talked more than he probably should of and now he was staring down at his paws. He flicked his ears up, noticing they were dropping slightly and he looked up from his paws to her. "You and I both need a friend. A real friend. And I'm prepared to give us what we both need."
Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~ Empty Re: Waterfall ~ Lycan Territory~
Annie's bright aqua gaze had locked onto his crimson ones and she had soon enough began sit down against her haunches as she starred at the individual in front of her. Soon enough he began to speak and she just stayed silent the whole time until he had finished. She blinked watching his expression as he seemed sincere and as he had given her the choice to disperse she gave a small whine and slowly shook her head that's not what she wanted to have him think. Of course she would enjoy someone's companionship the caress and warmth of someone who truly cares about her. She was just afraid of him, afraid that if she did something. Even try to be herself he would reject her like many of the wolves did. Annie was a shy and innocent creature who's fears were the sound of thunder and the flash of lightning. She would be paralyzed unable to move, she was also afraid of other wolves. She had been petrified and taught to fear the ones that weren't in her social group. A beta would be crazy if he wanted to be around her, he must think she was a charity case that he felt bad for. A few wolves did, mostly the elders who looked down at her and noticed the sweet Annie. The one that couldn't bring herself to harm even a single fly. She was a flower, gentle and fragile, she was blessed with the beauty of the plant. Like a full blossomed Rose, she starred at him. Seeing him pace and soon enough began to draw towards.
His words about what a wolf really was had hit her hard. She starred at him as he had said bloodshed and she gave a small sigh unable to respond to him. She soon watched as he looked down at his paws and she began to slowly move away from him. Annie just didn't want to get close to him, at least right now. She knew the beta was to protect and she just starred at him, "I do not wish to be disrespectful, beta, so please do not lash at me for voicing my opinion." She said softly and then began to move towards him once more, "If you are a beta who protects and see me as an equal then why did you just stand there and watch when the other wolves were ganging up on me before. I saw you, the same expression in my eyes were for you to help me." She gulped softly and began to back away as she felt she was too close, "I've been so alone, no kindness has been given to me. The equality doesn't pertain to an omega it would seem." She took in a deep breath and walked forwards hesitant as she slowly touched the other and licked softly against his shoulder and then backed away once again.
The she-wolf looked upwards at him and sighed softly, "I want to be your friend, I want to show you the compassion that I never had and you do the same considering you say we are just alike. You don't need me and I don't need you. But, that doesn't mean I don't want you to be my friend." She then began to shift as she was completely nude as the moonlight hit her pale skin, she was on her knees as her head was done. Slowly she looked at him, in the state of complete humiliation. Her hair hiding her breast as she starred at the other, "I'm not much, but I am loyal." She said softly her high cheekbones visible as her thick locks of chocolate brown hid most of her body. Her form curvaceous as her spinal bones were visible and her waist had two dips above her hips and just under her ribcage. Bright aqua orbs starring at the other as she looked down her hands digging into the dirt and she soon noticed the wound that was now against her bicep that was slim and had rarely any muscles, it was a giant bite mark. Her body had various scratches and bruises on her and she looked back at him, "This is what happens when you're the scapegoat." She said softly, "There's nothing really anyone can do about it."
When she began backing away and stated how she didn't wish to be disrespectful and didn't want to be attack he sighed and stood up, shaking out his fur smoothly, "That would make me a hypocrite if I attacked you." He stated numbly, had she not been listening the whole time he was talking? Was he just wasting his time? When she moved toward him and asked him why he didn't protect her before, his shoulders dropped and he looked down; sighing heavily and shrugging. "I have no excuse for not protecting you before but If you'll allow it I'm prepared to protect you now and follow through with my promise. As long as I'm around, no one will hurt you. If you do not want me around or talking to you, you will never see me again. If I smell your scent, I'll turn the other way. If I wasn't a beta, if you weren't an omega and we were both rogues, you'd take this situation wouldn't you? You'd accept me for my kindness not my rank and you'd not deny me because of my rank and how it's 'not right'..." Pierce sighed and took a small step back, his eyes on her before moving from her to the forest behind her. He should leave before things get more complicated and... uneasy and emotional. Pierce took another small step back, ready to say goodbye but she approached him and his ears were twitching and flicking around above his head as he watched her. Soon enough he felt a soft lick to his shoulder and he eased his ears slightly and watched her, no one was ever so gentle with him. When she backed up his ears straightened again and he listened to her before his ears flattened a bit, how would she know what he'd need? Of course this made him a hypocrite because he just said she needed him but she did, she needed a friend, affection and someone to care about her. You can't live a life like this forever and call yourself happy. Pierce just stayed quiet and nodded softly, he didn't want to get carried away and blow things out of proportion. When she shifted he widened his eyes slightly and kept his eyes respectfully away from any areas she wouldn't feel comfortable with him seeing and he eyed the wounds she held and he frowned softly. She should've healed most of those by now, he assumed they were pretty recent. Pierce sighed and stepped toward her, he didn't know if she'd feel comfortable with them both standing in the middle of a forest alone and nude so he stayed in his primal form and lowered his eyes gently, "I think you're a beautiful omega, strong and you don't give yourself enough credit. But again, that's my opinion and you doubted it before so I wouldn't  be surprise if you doubted it now." Pierce shrugged and sat down, his tail curled around and the tip near his front paws as he watched the area around them, avoiding her nude body. She really was beautiful. When she said there's nothing anyone can do about it he shrugged, "I'm sorry I bothered you. You obviously don't want anyone to care about you or don't believe anyone could and I guess that's both of our losses." The beta shrugged softly and sighed, getting up and turning on his paw pads and walking away from her. He knew this was a mistake, he never should've thought she could trust him and become his friends, a beta and omega? What was he thinking...? He snuffed and flattened his ears as he picked up his pace to a trot and broke the tree-line, heading home... Or what he could call a home now. He just hoped someone else could care about her and show her how good the world could be and show her happiness. He'd find his own someday.
