[Clementine LockWind]

Clementine wasn't sure what to think she felt his hands around her slim form and she looked at the male. As he had said he had the same dog when he was younger she rolled her eyes. Sniffing at him her nose continued to twitch as she took in his scent. She rubbed her nose against the crook of his neck as they began to make their way down the street. She gave a small snuff as she just stayed in his arms. Clementine didn't know what to think, hell, didn't know what to do. She couldn't be with him, they couldn't be together. He loved someone else and if she was ever going to get her life together she just needed to move. No more in the forest, actual moving to a different state. Start her life over, like the world was giving her a second chance. She watched the bystanders walking past them a few awes from young women who starred at the male with the young pup. She gave a low growl towards then as she showed her fangs and they moved away from them.

As they were away from the cold and into the apartment building she was soon standing in his rather large apartment. She starred at the white couch, walls, and carpet except for one that was a brown color a flat screen and an xbox. Huh. Nice pad he got here. She shifted out of his arms as she wiggled to get put down. Once she was she moved and began to sniff at the various furniture and she tilted her head. No sign of Micky was to be seen or smelt, did he not find her? She turned her gaze upwards to him then began to run off towards the bedroom sniffing under the door... Nothing. Strange. She turned and padded back where he was.

Settling down on her haunches she starred up at him and just didn't know what to do. She couldn't just shift in front of him, couldn't show him who she was. No. She would make him find out on his own, she wanted him to know. Wanted him to accept her but she knew she would just be seen as his pet. Then again she did kiss him so perhaps he was uncertain of what they were. Slowly, she sighed and she began to shift. Fur began to move to skin as her bones cracked. She hadn't shifted into human in three months and it took so much energy from her. Clementine moved her gaze upwards as she gave a small frown, "I-I'm..." She couldn't get anything out as she simply collapsed on the floor unsure of how to use these sets of muscles anymore. Slowly she tried to get up but it was useless she was too tired, "Kodi." Energy drained her head lolled to the side as she passed out, her body unclothed against the cool floor.

This was so exciting. Finally he had a little creature that he could take care of and love and be loved back, Kodi missed the companionship of another and the puppy was the perfect means of obtaining such. The adorable canine would help soothe him and help the male get his mind off of losing two people he cared for very much. Keeping the puppy close to him as they made their way home, he smiled happily and thanked those who complimented the little pup even though she growled. Kodi chuckled and kissed her on the top of her head as they rounded a corner, heading for his apartment building. It was a nice place, affordable, but not nearly as big as what he was used to. However, it was home to him and what better way to break in a new home than to bring home a pet. "You're going to love it here, little one. There's plenty of space for you to run around. Till you get bigger." He laughed and entered the building, going for the elevator up to his floor.

Kodi adjusted the puppy in his arms as he dug out his key to unlock the door and once inside he let her down to go investigate her surroundings. He smiled watching her go off and decided to go get her food bowl and water dish ready for her. Honestly, he didn't anticipate getting a puppy and didn't have any puppy chow so he hoped she'd do well on the adult food till he could go out and get a bag of puppy food for her. Filling up each bowl he set it on the floor in the kitchen and started whistling for the she-pup. As she didn't come back he sighed but let out a little laugh as he went to go look for her only to find the pup sitting at his bedroom door."No, its not bed time yet, silly. You hungry?" He asked in a baby tone and patted his leg for her to follow. Yet.. She didn't.

Kodi was confused as she didn't make a move and tilted his head. What was wrong? Was she sick? He couldn't smell any illness on her... Scent. Kodi took in a big whiff and swore that he smelled- No. No she was long gone and it was impossible that she'd be this close. He hadn't caught her scent in months and the trail had gone cold shortly after she had left. Then he heard a sickening snap and looked back down with wide eyes. No. No, this wasn't happening. There was no... Kodi couldn't even think as the puppy started to morph and turn into the girl that he had lost so long ago. He was at loss for words and froze in his place. He couldn't even wrap his head around this. The male just simply watched with wide grey orbs as she collapsed upon the floor. It was a long while before he got his bearings and bent down to scoop up the naked woman and brought her into his room, sliding her carefully into his bed and covered her up with the blankets. Running his hands through his hair he just stood there for a moment looking at her.

She was really here. Clem was here. Kodi was filled with such joy to know that the shifter was okay and still hanging around Sotu. Now he really did have someone in his life, someone who truly did care for him. Immediately all he could think about now was what had occurred in the alley that day she left and wondered if she still felt the same way. Would she want to stay here with him? He had given up looking for Micky and finally let go of her... There'd be no reason for her not to now. Kodi smiled softly at the woman and shifted forms to hop up on the bed and curl up by her feet.

Clementine's eyes were closed as she breathed steadily her heart pumping in the rhythm and although her body was tired her mind was not. Her dreams had taken her into a flash back of her and Kodi, that red scarf around her neck as she starred towards the male. Her eyes filled with tears as she was about to tell him goodbye, "Goodbye Kodi, I'll watch over you..." Were her last words and then she kissed him. She didn't know what had gotten into her, where that sudden urge to kiss him was. Then she just left, ran and flew away. A few hours had coasted by as she slowly began to stir. She fluttered her eyes open as she soon noticed something laying against her feet. At first she thought it was a giant body pillow and she sat up her gaze widening as she noticed that this pillow had a wet nose and was alive. It was a wolf... She knew who it was so she wasn't afraid and she took in a deep breath as she moved her hands to hover over his form but stopped. She didn't mind about the nudity I mean he just say her in the nude not to long ago.

She didn't want to wake him up but she moved her legs to be pulled to her chest as she just watched him. Her vibrant purple eyes watching the wolf as she moved her leg from the covers and poked him with her toe. She wasn't sure what would happen to them. If she wanted to stay, well, she did. Though she couldn't get her way she couldn't stay here with him. He had someone, someone she knew she couldn't replace and she easily moved to lean over and began to pet him, "I'm sorry..." She whispered softly as she shifted into a tabby cat and began to leave the other on the bed. She padded off towards the kitchen as she noticed a pen and paper and she grabbed it between her teeth and began to write a note:

Kodi,

I'm giving you a choice... Micky or me. Meet me at the ball if you wish to see me again. Otherwise, I'll know your decision.
