Annie was lifted in the air and she giggled when she was back on her feet. Shaking out her hair she tapped her chin as she tried to decide where would be the best place to go to get out of this cold. She soon felt a strong arm fall around her back and then a hand grip against her slim waist. She smiled and leaned slightly into him before her arm moved itself behind his back and fall against his waist. Giggling softly she began move out of the woods easily finding her way out by the scents and soon she heard car tires against pavement. Stepping from the woods she smirked it was a piece of cake. Wow she wanted cake and steak... Just food in general that rabbit didn't necessarily seem to make her full. Easing her form from his own she slid her hand into his and intertwined their fingers together. Moving across the street as soon as the cars stopped she walked along the snowy roads with her companion next to her. Finally making it to the downtown area she began to go off towards a rather quiet area were it was less populated. Looking towards Darrel she bit down on her plush bottom lip.

Finally, she led him to her favorite joint called Mystic Grill it was casual and classy at the same time and you could eat in or outside if you want though she preferred in especially with the chilly weather they are having. Easing herself and Darrel to an open booth considering it was a cool seat yourself joint, where most young teenagers or young adults hang out. There is a pool table and a bar as well, tables lit by candlelight it was quite the hangout spot. Looking over the menu she looked to the waiter who had already wondered by. His gaze went towards Annie for a few moments before clearing his throat asking what they would like to get to drink. Anastasia gaze fluttered as she asked for a sweet tea and waited to Darrel to give his order. Reassuring that he would be back with the drinks and to take their order he disappeared. She leaned her head towards the side, "Alright mystery boy, what's your story?" She said with a light smirk, "Mines hardly interesting." She told him with a cute little giggle. Her long eyelashes fluttering a few times before they settled to half mass. Her bright aquamarine eyes watched the other with curious yet warm eyes.

Vlad walks into the bar through the main doors and goes strait to the bar and orders a glass of whiskey and then takes one of the booths in the back where it was darker than the rest of the place out of habit. He starts to scan the room and the patrons while he waits for the drink to be delivered to him. His cold green eyes wander from face to face and was taking in their features as well as their body language. As the waitress brings his drink to him he gives her a semi warm smile as he thanks her and gives her a tip. She gives him a smile of her own for the tip and hands him a menu and tells him she will be back later. He looks over the menu and smirks a little bit at the food options since most of the 'healthy' foods are ones that were thrown away for the easier to make foods.

He sighs as he doesn't see anyone who looks all to promising and scents the air finally and could smell a couple of patrons who would be able to sate his thirst without draining them dry but had to get a look at them before he decided to feed this week. His charm hasn't failed him in over a century, at least on a human that is. He has had issues with other vampires and night dwellers who naturally have a higher mental fortitude. He did need to go address the local Coven's ruler before he is found wandering their territory and a dispute or fight ensues.

Alyssa decided that tonight was one of those nights where she decided to dress a little more on the sexy side. She had been cooped up inside for far too long, too busy with work. It was time for a little fun, even if she had no friends. She had showered, did her hair and makeup, she looked stunning. Tonight was special, tonight she was going to splurge on herself and enjoy her time. Walking down the street the lights caught the curves of her body and the slinky dress she was wearing showed off a lot. Her dress was cut at mid thigh and a soft velvet. It was black as night, and it showed off her body. Wearing pump heels she walked into Mystic Grill and breathed in its homey smell. This was a place she didn’t get to visit often and when she did she always made sure she dressed her best. She ran her fingers through her hair loosening some curls and making them bounce more as she walked over to one of the stools and took a seat. The bartender came over and asked her what she would like to order and she gave her answer with a polite smile. She turned in her stood crossing her legs and looked out among the bar.

It was darker in the bar than normal, but then again it may of been a different attitude in the bar tonight. She could just barely feel it, the crawling sensation on her skin as she looked around at all the people in the bar. It’s just a strange feeling. She thought to herself and caught notice of a booth in back, she could just barely make out someone sitting back there. She could almost feel cold energy radiating from that spot and quickly turned back to the bar once her food and her drinks were given to her. She thanked the bartender and took a drink smiling as she did. In a lot of people’s eyes she could've been dancing in a club bringing everyone together but Alyssa enjoyed the freedom she felt. She rested her chin in her hand and smiled as she made conversation with someone next to her. Every once in a while she would look back over at the corner where the figure sat, feel a chill, and then turn away again.

[Vlad Edara]

Vlad had watched the blond woman walk into the bar and smiles a little bit. He could smell her blood over the others and it was almost intoxicating and her body language didn't read the same as her actions. She was talking and maybe even flirting but she wasn't actually looking to hook up or even do more than socialize. She seemed to be a little aloof but it only served to feed his curiosity. He keeps his eyes on her and smiles just before she turns to look at him each time and could tell she was able to sense that he wasn't a normal person. He call the waitress over and tell her that he will pay for the woman's drinks for the night and to give her a refill. Then he gives the waitress another tip and orders an appetizer.

He starts to lace a little of his charm into his gaze and it was directed at her and only her. He was curious as to how long it would take before she would approach him or if he would have to actually go over to her. His mind was starting to process more of the information he was picking up off of her. He could tell she was letting herself go tonight and had dressed up specifically for this night. He was wondering why people like pumps so much these days they just make it even easier for beings like himself to catch them when they are out hunting. He then finishes off his glass of whiskey and smirks at the now empty glass and signals for a refill.

Alyssa could feel his eyes on her, she could almost feel them burning into her. She kept her conversation with the guy who was plainly staring at her chest but he went away as soon as the waitress came over to speak to her. Alyssa rose a brow in surprise when she heard that the man in the corner offered to buy her drinks for the rest of the night. She felt a frown crease her features as she thought about this but thanked the waitress and turned her gaze back towards the man. Who was he? Why did he feel so cold? Her curiosity was sparked but she didn’t want to move any closer to him. Warning bells kept going off in her head telling her that it was not a good idea to go over and talk to him but she began to feel something. She closed her eyes for a moment and then opened them back up and gave the bartender a sexy smile. She ordered another drink and turned to look at the man again tilting her head at him. She looked him over, his eyes catching hers. She stared deeply at him for a moment before turning away. She took in a deep breath and let it out the fluttering feeling in her stomach. She pressed a hand to her stomach and took another sip of her drink. “Keep it together.” She told herself outloud feeling his burning gaze on her back. She wanted to go over to him, wanted to talk to him but she kept herself in her chair. She could still hear the warning bells but they were slowly getting fainter and fainter as his charm started to work it’s magic.

Vlad looks the woman again and could tell she was curious but not sure if she should come over. He puts a little more power into the charm as he keeps his gaze on her. The waitress walks over and gives him his new drink and his appetizer and gives him a smile before she heads around to her other tables. He plucks a fry from the cheesy fries and eats it as he watches the blond woman still though he was being less obvious about it than before though his eyes would meet her's if she looked at him again. She was strong willed for a human and he knew she would be interesting to talk to at the very least. The only other thought in his head was how her blood would taste, would it be earthy or more like a sharp alcohol, or even have a more fruity tang to it. This usually based on their diet and heath and this woman seemed to take care of herself pretty well. His eyes did wander over the shape of her body and knew that she would be fun to watch when she ran from him since he did like the chase that was involved the hunt. He didn't have much patience for humans normally but this one was rather interesting to him.

Alyssa was laughing with the bartender, he had made a pretty good joke but she was starting to become uncomfortable feeling Vlad’s gaze sweep over her pushing to the brink of standing and walking over to him. She pressed her hand to the cool top of the bar and smiled at the bartender who gave a nod and served another customer that walked in. She greeted a few bikers who came in and spoke to her before swirling her drink in her glass. She turned her gaze back to the man and swallowed hard when her eyes met his. She could now feel anger inside of her, why was he watching her? She took in a breath cooling the anger. You’re only angry because he is so interesting dummy. She thought to herself and finally stood. Her legs wobbly only slightly as she moved over to the back booth carrying her drink in one hand. She licked her glossy lips and instead of standing in front of him like a weirdo she sat down. She placed a pale slender hand on the table the scent of the fries strong. “Enjoy staring hmm?” She asked tilting her head to the side as she flicked her hair back over her shoulders. It shimmered in the dim light, making it look like a lighter gold than it actually was. It exposed her pale neck as she turned to set her glass down and then glanced to him her green cat eyes sparkling. “I’m Alyssa.” She said her name with an almost purring like voice. She always loved her name, it was a unique spelling and it always sounded good on the lips of others. She often fantasized on men calling her name as they used her but she pushed those thoughts away crossing her legs under the table and giving him a wide grin. It was going to be a good night, she hoped.

"Staring no....studying people yes," he says to her and smirks a little, "Do you enjoy making a specticle out of yourself Alyssa?" he asks her and moves the fries closer to her. His eyes never leave her's since he knows that she has a nice body, but the eyes can tell you more about a person then their body can when you are curious about their mind. He takes a drink of his whiskey and then sets the glass down before he leans back, "I'm Vlad," he adds as an after though just to keep from seeming overly rude. His eyes should have seemed to be bottomless to her now but he wasn't sure how the charm was taking hold just yet. As he takes another fry he gives her a half smile before he bites the fry in half and dips the other half in the cheese to finish it. His hands are dexterous and strong from the looks of them though he should have arthritis or some sort of joint problems. Over the years he had been a lot of fights and there were some scars to show for it.

Alyssa scowled at his little smirk and at his words. Her pouty like lips pulled down but any look on her face was a good look. She was studying his face quietly, and when he offered a fry she took one. “Well Vlad, i do not enjoy making a spectacle out of myself. I don’t try to be impressive by any standards. I don’t whore myself out like most women. A woman should be able to look nice and not have men wanting ravage them.” She shrugged her shoulders, her words were bold and her voice firm. As she went silent she thought about his name and was a bit curious of how he came to that name. It was a different name, at least not one that was used commonly now a days. She looked over his rough features taking in more detail but her eyes were always drawn back to his. The forest green, stare deep into your soul, type of eyes. She watched him for a long moment see their depth and they looked almost bottomless. She could still feel the chill of his gaze but now it was a little less. The warm fuzzy feeling was still pooling over her, but both sides were fighting each other. Something kept screaming at her to get away and leave but she couldn’t. She uncrossed her legs and relaxed herself taking a breath and letting it out. “You like to study hmm? What do you see in me?” She asked this question because it had been bugging her for part of her life, but also part of the time she had been here. What made her so interesting? “Am I interesting?” She whispered softly placing both hands on the smooth worn tabletop she leaned into him slightly ignoring the fries and drink and staring deep into his eyes her green cat eyes full of emotions and had an underlying depth to them. Vlad was not the only one who could draw people in.

"Confidence and a little self doubt," he starts as he looks at her and smirks at her attempt to draw him in and takes another drink, "You like to dress up because you came from nothing....hence the over the top outfit for the night," he adds and then tilts his glass so that the ice in it shifts. His eyes move over her face, "You seem to know how to play people but don't seem to want the attention...." He finally leans in and puts his glass down so he has his hands free, "And you want to figure out why I'm more interesting than the other people here tonight." He lets her process what he had just said to her and was willing to wait to hear her response since he had put so much time into getting her over to his table already, he figured he might as well run the full set of tests on her before his meal. He eats a couple more fries as he watches her think over his words and what they might have meant. The waitress comes over and makes sure their drinks are full and asks if they wanted any dinner brought over and for himself he shakes his head and lets Alyssa answer for herself since it would be her decision.

Her appetite had been lost at the first sentence he said. Her heart fluttered in her chest as her stomach twisted up and she gripped the table with both hands her eyes on Vlad’s. She had to remind herself to breath, where had he gotten this information? It made her scared, especially hitting the nail on the head like that. He seemed to have a deeper wisdom, which also made her fear him a small bit. Sucking in a breath and gritting her teeth, her cheek muscles twitch. Pushing the fear aside she shook her head at the waitress, her golden curls bouncing as she did. She couldn’t find the words because they were stuck in her throat. Once the waitress left she picked up her glass, it took every ounce of strength she had for it not to shake as she took a drink and set it back down on the brown table top. She let her palms lay flat on the table her green eyes piercing as she looked into his. “It is in almost everyone’s nature to do what I have done. Especially with how i was raised.” She arched a brow relaxing back in her seat and giving him a slight smile. “I have a talent that not many have and of course, i do wish to know why your interesting but if all the rumors I hear are true...then you aren’t human.” She said to him, taking a guess on this. She heard so many rumors flying through the city that she wasn’t sure if anything Supernatural existed through the town but if it did...well she wasn’t he one to go poking around. It seemed as if the Supernatural had found her instead. Although that thought excited her she kept cool now hiding any emotions deep inside of her. She would break down and cry later...if she could...and try to sort out how this man could of summed up her past history and her current interest in a look. “You are interesting no doubt.” She said to him, licking her glossy lips again her white teeth showing for a moment. She crossed her legs again letting her slender hands slid off the table and into her lap as she watched him.

"Now now you believe those rumors?" he asks her and smirks again, "I didn't take you as that childish," he adds and sighs. He downs the rest of his drink and gets up from the table and offers her a hand, "I do believe you have had enough to drink Alyssa....lets get you home before you do something you regret." He was being sincere but was also testing her and wanted to talk with her away from her and somewhere she felt safer so that she might relax a bit more. His eyes still kept their lock on her's for now and was waiting for her to take his hand and let the charm really sink in with the physical contact. His mind wasn't on that as much as the chance to look at her home and see how she lived and how much she hid from the world about herself. He of course didn't have a place to stay right now and knew that this could be beneficial for him if he could get her home and him with her. He needed a place to sleep away the day and figured she had a job or something to go to when she wasn't out all night like this.

“It can’t hurt to believe in a few. You never know what is at your back.” She said to him and stuck out her bottom lip as he called her childish but could not help the grin that came to her lips. When he stood she got a full view of him, he was dressed in dark clothing like herself, but he seemed to have a darker look about him. When he offered his hand she was a bit surprised, his words also surprised her. She was more sober now than she had been a few moments ago but she knew it was a polite gesture. Alyssa slowly reached up and took Vlad’s cold hand and stood up. Her dress had ridden up her slender thighs showing off a bit of leg but she didn’t seem to mind. She moved with grace as they walked out of the bar, she had the same warm feeling again. “You have some chivalry. Which is rare to see now a days.” She said quietly glancing to him out of the corner of her eye and then back towards the street. “My home is just up the street. But i want to know...why? Why are you this way?” She asked quietly a frown creasing her face as she walked next to him. She stopped for a moment to slip off her heels and look at him in the dim street light. She could see his rough features outlined and was wondering just exactly who he was.

"What way is that?" he asks her and was curious what she meant by that, "And I was raised right, taught respect and hard work get you ahead in live not a silver tongue," he says to her and lets her lead the way for the most part and when she stopped to take her heels off he looks her over, "You might want to fix your dress Alyssa," he says to her and then decided to ask, "What is you last name?" He wanted to find out more about her for now and didn't want her to start feeling uncomfortable since it could offset the charm if he was too overbearing with her. He then smiles at her and waits for her to lead the way again and kept hold of her hand as long as she would allow him to. The longer she held his hand the more enamored with him and the mystery that he is she would become. He had one problem of his own to take care of right now though, he was hungry as hell right now and she smelled delicious, almost divine. His fangs had extended a slight bit but not enough to be out of place which was a testament to his self control.
