Re: Kazuma's Manor
The ball had been rather entertaining for it being mostly those common creatures carrying about, even Kazuma enjoyed himself whilst out on that evening. For a large portion of the time he spent it alone with a glass of whatever champagne they had available though once he felt more comfortable he eventually got out onto the floor and danced with a few. It wasn't for very long but at least he did mingle. But he had not an ounce of courage to introduce himself to that one man he had caught staring at him like he was a piece of candy, oh how yummy that werewolf was... Last time he got his hands on a guy like that was a long time ago, too long in fact and he was missing the company of another male, longing for it to be honest. Kazuma found great pleasure in being made to writhe under a one night lover, he loved to be the submissive one in bed.
Light danced about the room as the sun began to rise and casted a warm golden glow in chambers, the male gave a small groan as he wasn't ready to get up just yet. There was much to do today and he needed to get up rather early. The white haired male was a bit reluctant and snuggled his head down into what he thought was his pillow thought it felt much harder and was a bit... fleshy. As he went to take in a breath, it hit him, and Kazuma's eyes immediately popped open to gaze at whatever he had just rested his head on. It was another male, one that he had never seen before and it pissed him off that this stranger was in his bed. Growling out, he started to hit the man who abruptly woke up all confused as the other was shoving him out of the bed and barking at him to leave. The stranger gathered his clothes and only had time to get his boxers on before he was high tailing it out of the room. Kazuma didn't calm down even after he had left, he didn't know how he got in his room... Then it hit him. He must have been drunk the night before. If he was sober he would have remembered coming home with that man or at least what they had been doing the night before, well, Kazu had a pretty good idea just what they had done. His hind end felt different and he knew just why.
Shaking his head and muttering to himself over and over how stupid he had been to drink enough to get drunk, he quickly jumped out of his bed to go take a much needed shower. He needed to get the stench of that other male off of him. A few of his servants had made their way to his room prior to that to check and see if all was well with him, they had heard quite the ruckus earlier. Kazu simply nodded and ordered them to get fresh sheets on the bed before he disappeared into his private bathroom. Even in there he continued to rant. Kazuma scrubbed and scrubbed till he was certain that he had rid himself of the smell of that man. As soon as he was done, he promptly dried off and got dressed in a fresh outfit; white, machine ripped skinny jeans and a plain black shirt that was skin tight, on top of that he pulled on a white jean vest and slowly headed downstairs to begin his day.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
Smoothing her dark purple hair down, Raven stared at her pale reflection with a grumble before she turned to be side, eyeing the large, very large, baby bump;she had to wear large clothing now just so shirts could fit over her stomach, though lately Raven found herself wearing nightgowns instead of her regular day clothes; she didn't like the sun anymore. Actually, she didn't like people. Besides, being lazy was better then wandering about in town, socializing. Gazing down to her baggy sweatpants, Raven gave a sigh before she wrapped her arms around the under of her baby bump, putting on a smile. Mother hood didn't exactly look good on her, or so that's the way she thought;moving over towards a bed, the female sat down on the end, looking down at her large stomach with a small laugh as the children inside her kicked. Twins. Every night when she closed her eyes, Raven dreamed of them, and every morning she wondered what they would look like, if they would love her; that type of stuff. Though the thought of holding her offspring lightened her mood instantly, the thought of going through labor darkened it;every one told her that it was so horrible. It apparently "hurts so bad";she didn't doubt that the pain would be there, but how bad? Would it feel like dying? Was that what dying felt like? Did it feel like she was being torn in two? She didn't know;she would just have to wait to find out, which was something she really dreaded.
Sure, she wanted these babies out of her as soon as possible, but then again, she didn't;was she ready for this? Were they ready? Raven and Kazuma had, strangely, built their relationship further, though she wasn't exactly sure how he felt about all of this. It had been proven that he was the father, and she never really got to asking him what he thought about all of this. Getting up to waddle out of the room, Raven followed the scent of food with a skip in her step as her thoughts continued. "These halls are soooo long!" the female complained to the silence, pouting as she continued on until something so strange happened; it was almost like she pissed herself, which was something she hadn't done in a long, long time. Pausing, Raven didn't bother glancing down, even after panic settled in. "H-hello!" she tried to prevent the squeal from her voice, but no, she started screaming and flapping her arms around like a bird, her eyes wide. "I'm having babies now!" she screamed out again as she held her stomach, picking up her speed to a semi-jog, looking for a servant or even better, Kazuma.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
Kazuma stared down at the black and white checkerboard with complete focus on the game before him, carefully contemplating his next move and whether or not his opponent would fall right into his little trap he had prepared. Now, Kazuma didn't normally appear all that intelligent, at least most people figured he wasn't, but he actually was. Be it devising an evil plan or a simple game of chess, like right now. Drawing up his hand, the tips of his boney fingers grasped the game piece and slowly lifted it up and over to another tile, then he brought his hand back and glanced up at the other man. His expression seemed to be lit up with confidence and that was just what Kazu wanted him to feel. Hiding a smirk, the male guffawed and made a remark to the white haired hybrid that his move was foolish. Kazuma's face remained expressionless as his opponent made a quick move and leaned back with his arms folded, he glanced across the table then down at the board again. Without so much as a peep, he too quickly made a move and knocked the glass chess piece over; the king. Turning his two toned orbs onto the older man, he noted how utterly shocked he was, still, he didn't say anything more and at that moment Kazuma simply stood up and walked away.
Finally beating that old coot of an instructor made him rather hungry, parched as well. Too lazy to fetch something himself, he ordered one of the servants to make him something and bring it to his office where he was aiming to go at the moment. All he needed to do was sign a few papers and organize another pile, boring but it needed to be done only by him as it were private matters. Ears twitching softly as he entered the large room and strutted over towards his desk, Kazuma hummed to himself and had started to get to work when he heard something.... Something shrill and it made his nearly nonexistent heart sink in his chest. Kazu gave a loud gasp and burst out of his office quickly glancing down either side of the long hallway for the source. He knew it was Raven and he knew that he needed to find her. Honestly, he was panicking himself. He didn't know what the hell he was supposed to do after he found her and brought her to the medical wing. Then again... The male didn't know what he was to do after all of this was over either... He knew nothing about taking care of children or what to expect with one, sure he had been around Takashi when he was first born but he hardly paid any attention to his brother during those years. Biting down on his lip he whined a bit. There was also a bit of doubt still left at the back of his mind, doubt that Raven's twins were really his. For some reason he just couldn't shake that thought...
Kazuma spotted her, quickly did he move to the girl's side and gave her some support as they hurried about looking for those damn servants of his. The male tried to keep her calm as well as he could before he finally found someone to help the both of them, the woman was well aware of what needed to be done and escorted them towards the room that had already been set up ahead of time. At least someone among his staff wasn't useless. Kazu followed in right behind Raven though was basically pushed out of the way as they began to get the she-wolf ready, he didn't even so much as snap at them when they did it, but rather just stood in the corner watching everything and allowing his thoughts to consume him again.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
Servants only came to her side when Kazuma started towards her. Wrapping her arms around her lover as he came to her, Raven opened her mouth to start ranting, though she thought better of it as she was rushed into a medical looking room that smelled a lot like a dentist office;watching the older lady who seemed to know exactly what she was doing, Raven was put on some sort of table, and all of she her lower area was nude. Clearly oblivious, Raven wiggled in her spot, her forehead creased as she looked up at the ceiling. She was already tired, and she hadn't even started pushing! Shame, shame. Ignoring what everyone was doing in front and beside her, Raven pulled her long hair into a some-what pony-tail as she glanced at the "doctor" who took long strides into the room. Just after this, Raven nervously glanced over at Kazuma, holding out her hand for him;she had watched enough movies to think that maybe it'd be best for her to hold someones hand.
Raven then glanced at the servants who were rushing around her, when the doctor placed himself right in front of her legs, and gently talked her into spreading them. Okay, she had no idea what to do. Watching movies or not, nothing could have really prepared her for this. Taking in a deep breath as pain shot up and down her spine, Raven went back to earlier, when she had wondered what birth felt like. "I've jinxed myself!" she giggled to herself quietly before the doctor looked into her eyes, giving her a nod;with her free hand, the female clutched the sheet below her, sitting forward to push with what seemed like all her might. There were murmurs of encouragement though Raven seemed to be lost in a daze as she continued to do what felt like the impossible;she tightly clamped her eyes shut as the sound of small screeching field her ears. She wasn't sure if she even wanted to look, but when she gathered her courage, a nurse turned her back to Raven as she cleaned the creature off. "One more?" she murmured and though it seemed to come out as a question, it wasn't really. It was more like a reminder to her, that well, she couldn't loose the second one. Raven needed these children. With her toes curled and sweat causing the clothes she had on left to cling to her skin, Raven gave a whimper as the pain soon ended, and seconds after the first child was born, the second one was delivered. Falling back, Raven panted heavily as she stared back up at the ceiling through half closed eyelids. "Ow." was her only response.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
This was just... Kazuma was just at a loss for words, he didn't know whether to feel worried as all hell or extremely excited that his children were about to enter the world. He had never been in this position before and it was definitely different yet in a good way. A mix of emotions coursed through the stuck up hybrid; joy, wonder, nervousness... Especially that, oh boy was he just as nervous as ever right now standing there by his dear Raven's bed, holding onto her hand. He couldn't help but wonder how things were going to turn out. Were they going to be healthy? Was Raven going to make it through? Somewhere he had read that things do not always turn out the way that most hope and the last thing he needed was to lose her; the one person that took a chance on him and really turned his life around. He couldn't lose Raven ever, not when they were about to welcome two little ones into the world. Kazuma's ears slid back as he settled himself in a chair right beside her, watching all the doctors as they directed each other and Raven. Keeping a hold of her hand, he gently patted the top of it with his other and assured her that all was going to be well.
He winced, however, as she started to push and his hand was grabbed even tighter to the point where he was most certain that either one of his fingers had snapped or popped out of place. It had to have hurt for her to be gripping him this hard and that caused the hybrid to frown visibly. He had done this to her. Most likely anyways... And it pained him that she was in pain for that reason! Kazu had to push his thoughts aside for the mean time, right now he had to keep encouraging his lover to continue doing what she was. It didn't seem like more than moments had passed by before a new sound found its way to his ears which immediately perked up at the sound of the first child's cries. Kazuma quickly looked over and as he did the male's purple and golden eyes widened, mouth falling open slightly at what he saw. The first thing that caught his ears were the child's ears. Ears just like his! Shock filled him though there was something else. All the doubt that he had before became non-existent. There was no doubt in his mind now that they belonged to him, no other creature, no, no other male in Sotu had those kind of ears; this was his flesh and blood. Moments after the first child had been born, his twin came not long after and he donned the same ears too. Kazu put a hand over his mouth but soon dropped it to grin like a fool. His gaze slid over to the very exhausted she-wolf, and the first thing out of his mouth,"Rave, Rave, you did great, they're both as healthy as can be and both our boys have my ears!'' He practically squealed out.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
The word tired would be putting it lightly;she was beyond exhausted. Wiping sweat from her brow, Raven carefully pulled the hem of her shirt away from her stomach, trying to cool herself off. She tried not to show how tired she was though that seemed to be impossible. Once the female had gathered her wandered thoughts, she dropped her legs and crossed them before she pulled her green eyes to Kazuma, smiling as she listened to him. He was so happy looking;she wondered what their children looked like though Kazuma answered part of her question. Ears? Ears! Raven had always loved Kazuma's ears;they were soft and fluffy, plus they made Kazuma different. Raven liked different. "I told you they were yours." she replied after awhile that followed with a sigh as she rested the back of her hand on her head. "Remind me to start using condoms. This was ridiculously painful." she added with a laugh.
Patting his hand, Raven sat up with a grunt;she could never sit still for too long. In didn't matter to her if she had just gave birth, she had to move. And she wanted to see what caused her so much pain. Almost as if the nurses could read her mind, the children were brought into the room and it seemed that they were all cleaned up and happy. Holding out her arms, one child was placed in her arms, all wrapped up in blankets, while the other was offered to Kazuma;staring down at the newborn with a raised eyebrow, she watched as he stirred in his blankets. "Names?" Raven asked, willing herself to take her eyes away from him to Kazu. "Gale and Michael, right? Was....that what we decided?" In truth, that's the names she wanted but now that they knew that the babies were his and not some over night lover of hers, Raven thought, no knew, that this wasn't just up to her now;turning her orbs back down to the baby, Raven used her free hand to touch the child's little ears, admiring how soft they were. Yep. They were Kazuma's all right. "For someone so small, you put me through some pain, lil' one." she whispered down to him, placing a gentle kiss on his little forehead before she pulled away, looking at both of their kids smiling. "But it's alright. I forgive you."

Re: Kazuma's Manor
Honestly he had doubted that before; that the two little bundles of joy wrapped in soft blue blankets were his. From the time that she had announced that she was pregnant, he had always had that bit of doubt in his mind, Kazuma never imagined him ever fathering any children. Mostly because he had never laid with a woman and didn't remember ever having a moonlit romance with Raven. It wasn't something that he preferred yet was open to it, there was a first for everything after all, and Kaz took a liking to experimenting. Anything for pleasure... Yanking his mind from the depths of the gutter, he turned his full attention back onto his lover as she spoke up again, her words making him smile weakly. That was something he was not good reminding others about, majority of the time he didn't even bother. Mostly because he was actually allergic to latex which he found out the hard way. Perhaps there was another method they could take to ensure that they didn't accidentally reproduce again. Silent, he just nodded in response to her and figured there would be time for talking about that at a later time.
His ears started to twitch before he glanced up to watch one of the nurses returning to them with a bundle of blue in each arm, handing one twin off to Raven who wiggled uncomfortably on the bed, then the other dog eared baby to him which he was careful holding. In truth he had never held a baby before and it felt a little different though he knew he would get used to this quickly. Staring down at the darker haired twin, he cooed to him softly and smiled feeling just as proud as could be."Such handsome little guys..." He commented in a quiet tone, fawning over his children. He didn't care what anyone said, they were perfect to him. Kazu gently stroked the sleeping boy's ears which gave a light flick in response, he laughed softly and placed a little kiss on his forehead. The hybrid barely heard Raven speak yet caught enough of what she had just said to respond, nodding. Those were perfectly wonderful names and he indeed did agree."Yes, Gale and Micheal sounds perfect for these two." He said, beaming down between the two twins. Then another thought crossed his mind that made him bite his lip. What last name should they choose? Kazuma had a feeling that if they used his, people would automatically make false accusations about his boys and treat them the way they did himself. He didn't want them going through the hell that he did. He didn't want them to be targets just because of the things that their father did. Softly, he spoke up,"And... Maybe go with your last name?" Kazuma quietly asked, not really going into any other detail about why he had asked.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
Michael awoke as early as ever long before his twin and definitely before their parents who were sleeping in the next room adjoined to the nursery. Every morning was the same though this time he didnt want any attention or sustenance even, he just wanted to be up and explore. There was so much here at the manor for him to see and he wanted to see it all... Or where his little toddler body could get to. Slipping out of his bed the little hybrid boy glanced over to his brother making sure he was still asleep before continuing to get out of his bed as quietly as he could. Michael didnt wanna wake his brother in case he went to tell their parents. He had a feeling that he would. Wiggling his little wolf ears he listened for any strange sounds as he slowly crossed the room heading for the door, though could not reach the handle. Giving a silent pout he looked around for anything he could use to climb on but didnt see anything at all. Michael instead started to jump up at the door trying to grab the handle.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
Laying awake, Raven stared up at their great big ceiling with her green orbs, fluttering her eyelashes as she made shapes out of the wall above. With her purple hair scattered around her pillow, Raven slowly turned her head, staring at the sleeping Kazuma adoringly. Taking in his slender form, a smile formed as she studied his sleeping face;in all honesty, she wondered how any creature could be so cute and cuddly but then at the same time be so..cruel. He was never cross to her or the boys but to those he had no actual love for? Well, yeah. Some things would never change, but she loved him so. Looking away, the young adult slowly slipped out of bed, her locks falling around her shoulders as she carefully made up her spot on the bed and slid out of their room, letting the door shut with a soft click;resting her back against it, Raven glanced around the different room, taking in the fancy things and two little beds. Oblivious for now that one of those beds were empty, Raven smiled at the toddler Gale as she moved on over to him, pulling up his originally tossed away blanket;the room could get a wee cold at times. Petting his head, she nearly made her way to Michael's bed only to find that it the rumpled bed was missing a baby. Now, only did she notice the escapee wannabe by the door, leaping up for the door handle. With a grin, Raven made her way to her child, kneeling down to smile and lightly kiss his chubby cheeks. "Morning, Michael." She whispered, patting down his rumpled brown hair before she stood and opened the door, allowing him out.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
His ears twitched as the sound of approaching footsteps grew louder and he knew it wasn't one of the servants that normally walked the halls or tended to things in the rooms, he knew this was one of his parents. For the moment, he stopped jumping up at the doorknob long enough to hide as his mother walked in. Thankfully she checked on Gale first which gave him some time to get the door again though it wasn't nearly long enough. If only he was a little taller could he have reached it. Giving a little growl in frustration, he didn't realize that Raven was behind him at all and jumped when she touched him, Michael's big, blue eyes looked up at her as she knelt down and he gave a little giggle. He figured he'd get in trouble for this but in fact it worked just the opposite and the little toddler was getting just what he really wanted. The door was barely open before he was squeezing through and running off down the hall, laughing wildly he nearly knocked over one of the servant girls. Michael didn't know where he was going but anywhere in the large manor was fine with him as it seemed to be endless.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
Even if she was a bit curious as of why he wanted to be let out of his own baby chamber, Raven couldn't help but laugh at how quick he was to slip all the way through the door and bolt down the hall. Glancing back at the sleeping Gale, Raven shut the door behind her before she walked after Michael, apologizing to those who had been disrupted by him. "Michael, don't go too far." Even if she was allowing him to run free and probably cause more havoc for some servants working in the halls, Raven knew better then to ever let him out of her sights. Together, the twins could really cause some problems, and just one alone and running with a parental guide, well, she didn't need him or anyone else getting hurt. Picking up her pace to get some more area near her and her child, Raven practically hissed, or growled, as sunlight beamed through a window. She was no morningxsunlight person;holding back a yawn as she walked behind the running toddler, Raven gave a smile. "Having fun, huh!"

Re: Kazuma's Manor
Michael's ears twitched as his mother called after him though he didn't really pay all that much attention to her warning as he ran down the hall as fast as he could go with his chubby little toddler legs. Some servants got out of his way in time though a few weren't as lucky as he did in fact knock them over and some ended up spilling things on themselves and on the floor though the young hybrid didn't take notice. He was too busy trying to find places to explore. He did, however, hear someone hurrying after him which made the little boy want to run even faster. Michael looked over his shoulder to spot his mother close behind and squealed, looking back ahead of him to run down the long stairs and got an idea about a quarter of the way down. Grinning, he hopped up on the railing and started to slide his way down giggling wildly.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
((Sorry this took so long to write. Eh. This sucks so bad but ye.))
Michael was dead.
It was said that he had been poisoned, and it was hunters who killed her baby. But days have passed since Michael's death, and the whole manor was quiet-everything was different. Gale locked himself in his room, and would rarely ever come out, not that Raven could blame him. Everywhere she went, she could see him;she remembered the toddler running up and down the long halls, and remembered how as teens, the two twins would get into more fights and how the two would terrorize the servants here. She could hear his laughter and his voice. His presence still lingered, and she was constantly reminded of the son she lost.
A mother should never outlive her children. It was wrong. Michael was supposed to grow old, get married and have children. And yet he was torn from this world and left behind a family that loved him so dearly. Pale fingers wove through long, tangle, purple locks and Raven cringed. She felt so awful. Her skin had always been pale, but now it seemed snow like. She looked dead. Her eyes were wild and dull, her skin too pale, and she's grown thin from refusing to eat. She had bags under her eyes from the lack of sleep she received, and the woman just seemed disgusting. She ran a brush through her tangled locks and let out a small sob. My poor baby...She was going to pull herself together. She had to. Not only for herself, but for her lover, Kazuma, and her son, Gale. They needed someone to stitch back their lives together, and she'd be the one to do it. Besides-she's been hiding since the night she was told her son had been murdered. It was time to be an adult.
Slipping on some leggings and pulling on a sweater, Raven pulled her hair into a ponytail and quickly applied some makeup to hide her bags. She just had to be strong. But as she set away her mascara and glanced at herself in the mirror, she felt tears tug at the corner of her eyes. What was she thinking? Trying to act strong? Raven wasn't strong. She was weak and always had been.
I couldn't even protect my baby. She began to sob all over again, her newly applied makeup began to smear and turned her tears into black streams and she didn't wipe them away. Her heart hurt. She placed her hands to her chest in hopes to comfort the throbbing organ but she could do nothing but weep for the child that had been stolen from her.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
He was going to have them hunted. Those bastards that killed his son were going to pay with their lives even if he had to comb all of Sotu himself. They couldn't get away with something like this. What if next time they came after Gale or Raven? It would be a cold day in hell before he would allow that to happen and he had to take action now. Kazuma still had ties to the agency that his parents worked for and if talking wouldn't work then maybe if he lined their pockets handsomely they would get their asses in gear. While all of that was being worked out, he would tend to his grieving family and try to... make things easier. It just didn't seem real. He was waiting for that moment where Michael would walk right in the front door laughing and going on about how he had fooled everyone with his sick joke. They'd scold him for it, Gale would probably be a little upset but laugh with his brother, they'd get over it and go on with their lives. That moment wasn't coming. It would never happen. It was that reality that hit the male the hardest and every time he thought about it he broke down. Every time he thought of his son he couldn't stop the onslaught of tears that filled his two toned orbs and fell like a waterfall from his face. Several times already he had done so in front of his lover and felt awful about it. How could he be the man of the house if he couldn't even stay strong for his family?
What was it? A week, give or take a day, since he had discovered his son's body on the lawn? And merely a few days since the funeral itself. It felt like an eternity. The white haired hybrid was sluggish in movement as he lingered down the hallway each step becoming heavier and heavier as it was the same wing where his sons' rooms were. Kazuma stared at one of the doors that had not been so much as grazed by any hand since Michael had last left the houses. Again, he was waiting for that moment... Feeling his tears swell up he had to move on if he was to prevent another break down.
Kazu searched for the familiar purple haired woman and followed her scent to their room where he found her to be weeping. Frowning, it was hard not to cry along with her. Slowly moving towards the she-wolf he put his arms around her, hugging her from behind as he rested his head on her shoulder. Sometimes, silence was a good remedy but to be honest he wasn't sure what to say that wouldn't make her cry even more. It pained him greatly to see Raven like this and wanted nothing more than to take the pain away from her.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
It was useless to wipe away her tears when new ones would only replace those that had been swiped away.
So she simply let them fall, leaving black trails down her pale cheeks and she hiccuped, her sobs causing her body to shake. She tried to quiet herself in fear a maid would rush in, or worse, Kazuma, but it was a failure because she just continued to nosily sob.
Her continued to ache, her stomach churned, and she was shaking with grief and anger.
She felt at fault. Raven had given her boys the freedom that they demanded, and let them do whatever they pleased, and because of that, Michael was dead. Who knew what he was doing the moment he was killed? She didn't know why he was out and about, but all she knew was that he was the social one. Gale prefers books and solitude and she only know wished that Michael had his brothers's persona-
Sniffling, the woman tucked stray strands of hair behind her ear and finally quieted herself down as someone entered the room. She wiped her nose and began to try and hide her puffy eyes but he, Kazu, had already heard. Everyone probably did. His arms wrapped around her and she glared down at her feet, leaning back into the skinny male with a sigh. "I'm sorry, Kazu. I didn't mean to disturb you." She mumbled. Kazuma was a busy man. He always had been. And with Michael's death, she was sure the last thing he wanted to do was comfort a weeping woman when he had his own grief to deal with. Stepping out of his warm embrace, Raven slowly turned to face the male and angrily wiped at her cheeks and eyes, smearing her already ruined make up around. She must look horrible.
But it was time to be brave. Biting her bottom lip, the girl played with the hem of her sweater and wiggled her toes. She cleared her throat and sniffled, and tried to smile. The corners of her lips pulled up only slightly, but it was clear the smile was forced. She had to think about Kazuma and her son. Reaching up to fix his hair and cup his cheek, Raven sighed. "You okay?" It was dumb question, but a needed one nevertheless.

Re: Kazuma's Manor
The hybrid kept his thin arms around the petite woman as he listened to her weep and try to wipe away the salty tears which was really all he could smell at this point but that was beside the point. Caught up in his own confliction it was hard for him not to join her in crying. Kazu fought against the urge not wanting to break down in front of his lover but reminded himself that he would have time in private to do so. He had to be strong right here right now for her. He had to keep composure. As the she-wolf leaned against his slender form he stood there supporting the both of them and leaned his head against her and listened as she began to apologize. Kazuma frowned at that and gently began to shake his head, “No, no, dear. You didn’t…” He told her softly. He had put off everything for this and refused to continue his work till he got his revenge, till they had closure.
As the woman pulled back from him and turned to face him he looked to her with two toned gaze soft, reaching up to gently stroke her tear-stained cheek Kazuma tried to smile though it was full of pain. He absolutely hated seeing her upset and felt useless which made it worse. The male wished there was a way to take it all onto himself instead of her and Gale going through this pain from Michael’s death, if only that was possible. Kazu let his hand fall after a brief moment as she began to tend to him and adjust his messy bangs that were wet from his own tears when he brushed them back. He leaned into her touch, “I would be lying if I said ‘yes’…” He started out quietly and looked down for a second then back up at her. “I just… I just can’t believe he’s gone.” Whispered the hybrid.
Biting his lip he let that sink in and become absorbed by his mind which played it like a broken record over and over again. It didn’t seem real but the pain and heartache were the only things making it believable. A pang of anger hit him suddenly as he thought about all that had happened and how badly he wished for the people responsible to just… die. Kazu looked into Raven’s eyes and immediately did his tone change, “They will answer for what they’ve done. Whoever killed our son will pay with their life and I will not rest until I see that life leave their eyes. I promise you, Michael will be avenged, even if I have to do it with my bare hands.”
