Re: Hidden Beach Cave
The bright white she wolf swam in the shallows for a few moments longer, clearing her pelt of the sand and dirt it had picked up. She loved the way the cold water seemed to soothe her body and kiss away the aches and pains she felt. A cave like area came into her view and she heaved herself out of the water, giving her pelt a hard shake to dry out what she could. Her usual fluffy fur was sticking up in every direction like a porcupine. She giggled at it for a moment before lapping at it until it smoothed neatly against her small, fragile frame. Sitting down for a moment, her tail wrapped neatly around her paws as she cocked her head curiously at her new discovery.
Eventually she drove up enough courage and with her blue eyes wide with excitement she padded inside. She studied the surroundings, her eyes widening more with the astonishment of how beautiful it was. With a whine of happiness, she found a spot sheltered with sand and circled until it was a decent bed. Kiba hardly ever traveled in her human form these days. It was a faster travel on four paws. Unable to remember her last good nights sleep, she lay down in her make shift nest and put her head on her forepaws. She closed her eyes, allowing a deep sleep to take over her and her aching muscles.

Re: Hidden Beach Cave
How long had it been, three months now, since he had earned his claim here. It was a wonderful little patch of land deep in the heart of Sotu's forest; his territory it was and he was proud to have it. Dante of course did not establish it himself, no, a loner had their paws on it before he did and after that male disallowed him onto the land and even to form a pack... Well, his blood was on Dante's hands. He was never a cruel individual, never had bad intentions, but things just sort of happened and he could not control the urge to kill at times when his inner wolf was a glutton for it. That male attacked him first however, so Dante was merely protecting himself and went a little too far; it was an act of self defense and nothing more. And now he had inherited a territory that he wished to expand, gain allies and increase his numbers. So his search for wolves had begun...
As the last ash of his cigarette flickered out he tossed it into the sun-warmed earth and kicked the sand over it, icy toned orbs flickering about the vast beach. So far he liked Sotu, it was a paradise for his kind and others. Normally Dante would have little interest in visiting a beach but something had his nose going wild and he couldn't ignore his curiosity. He had caught the scent of someone that shared the same species as himself and had the strong urge to investigate. Who knew maybe this would prove worth his while...
Dante acted casual as he strolled slowly in the directed the scent had been wafting from, this individual could be hostile so he was careful about how he approached them. Every wolf he had come across had intended to harm him, it was just natural for him to assume that this one was the same. The wind brushed back his dark locks from his face, tugging at his sleeveless dark wash denim jacket. Now moving closer he found himself staring at the large mouth of a cave of some sort, peering in against the darkness he didn't see anyone in there... His nose twitched as the scent seemed to be coming from inside, that sniffer of his was never wrong, Dante gave a small shrug. Tossing his hand into his inside pocket on his jacket he pulled out a pack of cigarettes and lit another one up before venturing inside the cave, whistling an old Icelandic tune.

Re: Hidden Beach Cave
Kiba had been in a dream like state. Her mind was filled with her sister and the way she seemed to cling onto her older sibling. It was how Kiba earned her name, from protecting. And that was what she had always done. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw her sister there, terrified, in need of the eldest to protect her, yet she just wasn't there. The guilt would tread from the white wolves pelt every time this happened, but there was no way for her to let it slip away. She wasn't going back to her home, not after what she had become. But the question had always lingered in her mind. How had she become like this?
The sound of walking and whistling awoke the female. She could smell an oddly familiar scent drifting from whatever it was, but she couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was. Peering from behind the stone she had taken slumber on, she noticed a guy with long hair, his bangs hanging in his face. She had to admit, he was handsome in his own way, but looks could be deceiving. For all she knew, he could be hunting her own kind and she would fall right into his fantasy like trap. A low growl rang in her throat and she back up until she was pinned against the back of the cave. Her body was arched in a submissive like position, meaning she didn't want to be the dominant one here, but would attack if forced.
She stayed crouched in the corner, her bright blue eyes, the color of the ocean, fell on the guy that seemed to be approaching her, but not intentionally. The closer her got, the louder the growl rang in the white wolf's throat. Her long fluffy tail was wrapped underneath her and pressed against her soft underbelly. Eventually, when he got close enough, her fear took over and her threatening growl and large white teeth sunk away and turned into a long whine. She crouched there, her eyes wandering to this stranger then moved around looking for some kind of escape root.

Re: Hidden Beach Cave
As his bright orbs washed over the cavern of a cave, he found nothing out of the ordinary in sight. Perhaps this wolf that he had been tracking had only recently left through some other exit in here and he was just chasing thin air. Dante was beginning to assume that was the case, with a half frown he nearly turned right around and left though paused half way. A sound in particular hit his delicate ears, a growl it was and it sounded agitated to him, that made the male turn back around. His accusation was in deed wrong it seemed; a grin sprouted on his stubbed face. Any human that would have stumbled upon this find would just think it was a regular ol' wolf that escaped from a zoo or wandered too far from the forest, but he knew better. At least, he thought, it was possible... Dante quickly shook such thoughts from his head, that was too distracting to think about right now and he needed to focus at the moment. He took another long drag of his cancer stick and slowly approached the cornered creature.
But he stopped soon. Giving this wolf space he stood back and watched closely, checking for a few key signs that would either lead to an attack or a submissive move from this one. From what he could tell, it was frightened. Dante would be a fool to move closer, a scared and cornered animal is far more deadly than one that is attacking, that he knew well. He did not want to be attacked nor seem like he was posing any type of threat, not unless he was lunged at. The tall male watched curiously still, tilting his head a bit and continued to sniff past the fumes of his cigarette. Definitely a lycan and definitely female, either quite young or malnourished, that was all that he really tell... But it was clear this one didn't belong to a pack. She smelled of no other wolves. That was what drew his attention most.
His icy eyes flashed a quick golden color for a moment, the change was upon him quickly as he wished to show that he too was a lycan, a way of revealing himself. Silky white fur replaced skin and clothes, a large canine taking place where he once stood. Dante was not built as far as muscle went, but enough to defend himself, he only looked big because of how fluffy he was. Giving a slow stretch he flopped down on his rear and tilted his head as his now honey colored eyes fell upon the she-wolf, speaking to her softly,"Don't fret, dear. I assure you are in not a lick of danger." Whether she believed him or not was up to her, but he had to prove his words true if she didn't and so he took a more...goofy approach. Dante had no shame. Flopping to the side he rolled onto his back, tongue lolling from his mouth, and squirmed around a bit as if he had an itch he just couldn't scratch.

Re: Hidden Beach Cave
The she wolf glared at the tall male with uncertain eyes for a long time. Although he wasn't that close to her, his smell lingered in her nose and she struggled to put her finger on what it could stand for. She had never met another human, at least not in a long time now, she preferred to stay well away. It was safer that way. If she were in her human form, they would think she were homeless and probably take her to a special center, and if she were in a wolf form, they would take her to a zoo or wildlife facility. When staying well out of a sight was a much easier approach.
She watched as the tall man was quickly transformed into a wolf like herself. He gained a gorgeous white coat and beautiful eyes that seemed to bleed into her own pelt. Kiba felt silly for acting so nervous and hostile. She watched as he sat himself down for a moment 'Don't fret dear. I assure you are in not a lick of danger' He had said softly and his soft voice was like a simple melody of a song. She shook away the teenage girl like stage of mooning that filled her body and focused on the matter at stake.
She forced herself to calm down and her soft white fur that had spike up began to lay flat once more. She turned her head and gave her chest fur a few embarassed licks as it returned to a fluffy like look that made her look like she had just come out of a grooming salon. Sighing in relief, she suddenly felt nervous. Kiba had not yet met another one of her kind. She wasn't sure how to act but she flicked her ears and tried to think.
She raised her tail up and met his honey colored eyes only for a moment for it could be a threatening move if she gazed into them for too long. Greetings, my name is Kiba. May I ask who you are? Her voice was pretty and smooth, it matched her blue eyes and white pelt very easily. It seemed to spell out who she was and tell a simple story. She watched as the now white wolf in front of her flopped to the side and squirmed on the ground with his tongue just hanging out of his mouth. She couldn't help a small giggle as she waited for him to respond to her question.

Re: Hidden Beach Cave
Dirt didn't bother him at all, and boy was his fur caked in it now, worth it if it made him seem like a harmless fool. Dante truly meant no harm though, he wasn't provoked so all was well; his intentions were to make allies not enemies. It even seemed that this girl was coming out of that protective shell of hers against the back wall. She acted slightly awkward, confused even, if he was correct at his judgement, but she did not appear to be as fearful as before. Dante was well aware that it was only instinct to make one act like such, he had been there many a time himself, so he proceeded with light moves while dealing with this adolescent. Tired from his wriggling about he eventually stopped and rolled back to this paws and took a moment to just lay there and pant gently.
Warm amber eyes watched her, head still tilted as he was but a curious individual himself; he of course allowed his mind to wander a bit with silly assumptions but it always came back to focus. Dante observed as she quickly groomed herself and turn her own eyes onto him, locking gazes for but a moment. What was it with females and always doing that, grooming and cleaning up so much even when they looked fine? That was one thing, along with many others, he never understood about them. Every she-wolf he had met constantly did it, either habitually or some reason he couldn't find. He was a male that wasn't all too picky about his females... And there he went with his thinking again, Dante mentally scolded himself and shook his head, ears soon perking up however. He had not expected such a silky voice to come from such a young wolf, so smooth and welcoming. Though he wasn't exactly an alpha just yet, not without a pack at least, he still held up his head like he was and assumed the posture of one; a proud wolf.
"You must be new here then." Dante stated gently, that name rung no bells in his mind, at least he hadn't heard it from around here. Continuing, he introduced himself,"Well, Miss Kiba, it's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance. Name's Dante, and may I say you're the first wolf I've come across in a long time..." At least in three weeks that is, still, long for him though. He hadn't even so much as caught a whiff of any others about the city or it's vast wilderness areas since finding that rogue male. To him, meeting this lass was wonderful and he hoped that many others would follow.

Re: Hidden Beach Cave
The she wolf watched as the male rolled to his paws and looked at her with his head cocked to the side in curiosity. She smiled at him, her blue eyes warm. Dante was his name hm? It was a nice name. She hadn't heard it before back when she lived a normal life. She gave a small yawn and got to her paws, shaking the remaining sand out of her pelt. The white wolf found it ironic that she had been one of the first that he had seen in a while when he was the first of their kind she had ever seen.
"It's nice to meet you as well. You are the first of our kind that I have ever met. After a year of being like this, I was beginning to think I was the only one like this." She offered a friendly giggle and the smile wouldn't leave her face. It seemed to lighten up the area. "I am a girl you know, I do worry about my appearance. And I haven't currently been able to find anywhere to get clothes from my first changing. I stay in the wolf form for a reason you know." She laughed a little bit harder and shook her large head. "Excuse my changing right in front of your face, but do you know of any place such as that?
She yawned once more, allowing her fur to disappear in a quick transformation that left her with long blond hair with bangs that fell over her eyes. A ripped up white dress cover her small frame that had curves in all the right places. The dress was covering, but it was stained with mud and torn up quite a bit. Kiba flicked her long hair over her tan shoulder and waited for a response.

Re: Hidden Beach Cave
That was shocking to him, Dante was confused as well, how had she never come across their kind before? Weren't her parents werewolves as well? Dante wanted to find answers to settle his curiosity but did not want to play twenty questions with her and invade too much. He felt that it was rude at the moment, slowly he would get the information, slowly. Going back on the whole situation with him being her first lycan, that baffled him, but he was actually slightly uplifting. He never had anyone to help him through his first change nor getting the ropes of a werewolf down, so here he could make sure that she gained the knowledge she needed early. Hell, she lived this long with it, she had to know something already."There's many like us, hundreds, even thousands. We're right under your nose..." Dante paused at that little pun, chuckling softly to himself. That was quite literal actually."But Im surprised that Im the first you've met, honored nonetheless though."
And there she went, like she had been reading his mind this whole time; all girls worried over the silliest things. Dante only worried about two things; living and moving forward, without his life he wouldn't move forward and without being able to move forward he wasn't living at all. All his life he had been running from his past and he realized it was time to take a stand for himself, that was how he was going to move forward. Giving a wolfish laugh at her the male shook his furry white head,"Every girl Ive come across does, it must be programmed into you at birth." Shaking his head, he laughed again.
Well he could say that he wasn't expecting her to change back right in front of him, but Dante did want to know what her other form looked like. Annnnd he wanted to know if she matched that voice of hers. Just being a typical guy even though he was now well aware that she was fair game for jail bait. As the young girl shifted before him, he did the respectable thing and kept his eyes from straying anywhere they shouldn't, hard, but he managed. Dante had to say, she was easy on the eyes. Clearing his throat, he gave a nod,"There's a mall here somewhere, or a plaza actually, where you can get something nice. Depends on what your taste is but I could take you there if you wish?" Come to think of it he hadn't really been around a lot to see it for himself he only heard others talking. Dante himself decided to morph back, focusing his energy on his human form that he pictured in his mind. He had learned from trial and error that one could keep the clothes on their back if they did such but only worked half of the time even if you were to focus as hard as you could. Managing it luckily, he reverted back to his bipedal self and ran a hand through his dark hair, shaking it out.

Re: Hidden Beach Cave
Kiba listened to the boys husky laugh and she smiled, giggling at him in return. She still had a personality that was more human like than wolf like, but she didn't expect it to be like that forever. She had learned to become one with her inner wolf and one with the nature around her. After a year being like that, it all became natural and felt right. She nodded her head about going to the plaza although it made her a tad bit nervous. Kiba hadn't been in a human place since she discovered what she truly was. A werewolf. With a sigh she shrugged her shoulders and shook it off. Hopefully she would still know what it was like.
When Dante morphed back into his human form, her eyes gave a slight sparkle as she longed to meet his but shoved the feeling away. You have just met him, stop mooning like some fan girling teenager. She told herself strictly, mentally smacking herself. Deep inside she still worried about being in such a civilized place, but it wasn't like she was going to be alone, Dante was willing to take her, and words couldn't explain how thankful she was to have found somebody that understood her none the less.
When he mentioned there being hundreds to thousands of others like her, she let out a small gasp. How could she not have met any in the whole year she wandered alone? Shrugging, she pushed the thought away, maybe they weren't all accepting as Dante seemed to be. If that was the case, then she hadn't missed out on anything except for unneeded injuries.
Kiba gave the tall boy another warm smile, her eyes changing from worried to a look of slight excitement, the worry still there but hidden. "A trip to the plaza sounds wonderful, but let's make it as fast as possible, i'm not really into being in civilized places. Makes me feel trapped and like an outcast. I prefer the wide open spaces. Like the woods, the beach, and stuff like that. If you don't mind, that is." Smiling a bit bigger, she walked over to Dante and locked their arms together before walking to the entrance of the cave, watching to make sure her sudden need to touch him didn't frighten or make him uncomfortable, if it did, she planned to move right away.

Dante had never come across a young wolf before, still innocent and oblivious to the world of werewolves; unknowing of what their kind was actually capable of. How cruel and vicious they could be to their own kind, even a mere child or infant. In a way it gave him hope for the younger generations, but made him actually a bit jealous to be frank. He didn't have the luxuries she did; he had learned the hard way about everything... Dante was only putting himself in a bad mood the more he thought about that and had to force his mind to block out such thoughts, now they had to focus on getting this lass some new threads instead of the rags she wore.
As the girl spoke up, he gave a nod in understanding given her current predicament and all, Dante understood very well. Adjusting to something new was always difficult. You can take a wolf out of the wild but you cant take the wild from the wolf. For much of his life he had stayed away from human territories for the fear that they would find out what he really was and kill him afterwords, that was what his parents had told him when he was a young boy. Humans, crueler than their own kind, quick to judge, quick to shoot first and ask later. But it was humans that had saved him in the end, raised him after his parents had been slaughtered, then he killed them the first time he ever shifted...
"We'll be quick, I've been in the same spot once so believe me I understand. And since you like the woods, perhaps afterwords we could head on over to my territory for a bit and unwind. If you want to, just figured I'd ask." Icelandic accent slipping out, Dante shrugged as he rubbed the back of his head, he had to at least offer her the invite. As far as he knew she had no place to call her own, no roof over her head, it would be rude of him if he didn't ask her to join him in returning to his territory. And it would give him a chance to also offer her a spot in his pack, well, not a pack yet but help him start. Dante had not expected her to do what she did next and needless to say the surprise was immanent in the male's eyes as she bound his arm with her own. She had warmed up to him quickly he supposed... Shrugging it off, he just continued walk with her figuring this was just her way of being friendly.

Re: Hidden Beach Cave
Kiba saw a flash of anger in Dante's eyes for a moment but he seemed to push it away quickly and she decided it best if she didn't ask. She already had him helping her and didn't want to dig too deep into his history too fast. She was hoping to stay close to him. He was the only other face she had been able to trust in over a year and needless to say, she wasn't willing to give him up that easily just yet. When he asked her about the woods and going to his territory, her eyes brightened and she smiled even more.
The thought of being in the woods, this time with someone to help make her feel safe basically made her life at least 90% better than it currently was. A smile played brightly on her faded pink lips as she walked with Dante's arm with hers. He seemed surprised but content with her gesture so she made no move to pull away, although she was okay if he preferred to.
That was Kiba's problem. She trusted too quickly and far too easily, but as much as she tried to change it never worked. She needed to be near other people, being alone drove her insane and she would talk to herself and basically lose bother her humanity and inner wolf. She would just go crazy. Turning to the male beside her she kept the smile on her lips. I would love to tag along, it sounds perfect to me. Her voice in her human form was just the same as in her wolf form although it was a little more sing-song like. Kiba continued to walk beside the teen, a happy skip in her walk. So where to now?
