Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Guest July 26th 2013, 10:28 pm

The brunette boy sat alone on the sandy beach, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees as he watched the rolling waves in the ocean. It had always calmed him, the ocean had. The sand that had been warming in the sun all day. The smell of salt that always seemed to linger in the air. The soft sound of the soothing waves crashing against the shore. It was quiet. That's why Kade had chosen to move here to SOTU. It was a small, supernatural town. There was the fair share of fights, but overall it was a nice place to live. At least that's what Kade had heard, and what he had found in the short time he had lived here. After graduating from Asylum de Ethos, a supernatural school in northern Maine, Kade hadn't known what the next chapter of his life would bring. After finding an apartment in the 'shape-shifter' section of town, Kade was determined to spend the rest of his days here. With his beautiful fiancé (-insert name here?-) of course.

Kade would never forget the day he had met her. He'd spent the day outside in the garden when his hatchling, Mackenna, had ventured off and run into the blonde haired beauty. After scolding him about caring for his precious baby, Kade may have made a few cocky comments about himself and his hot body. The two hated each other upon their first meeting...It didn't take long, though, as Kade recalled. They'd found that the two of them shared a passion for Shakespeare, and after that the rest was history. It still amazed him that they'd come so far and she was his now...How lucky was he? With a small smile, Kade turned his attention to the beach once more and leaned back in the sand, his two toned eyes drifting shut slowly. This was the life.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

The heavily tattooed female vampire had been walking along the beach for some time now. Trying to find a secluded place to sit and write music. That being said, Avery had brought along her customized guitar in it’s studded and bedazzled guitar case along with the full leather-back book she used to write her music in. For the vampire, it would be early night for her, and she had the rest of the night to go, so she was in no hurry, but was also extremely picky when it came to finding that perfect spot.

While she walked, the wind blew her long blonde hair behind her, as well as her dark purple high low dress that reached way past her ankles. Closing her eyes, she listened to the waves, as if it were music an smiled with a small sigh of priceless relaxation. Her feet seemed to dig into the sand willingly, and felt the soft tickle of the waves. Avery was glad she had come to this place. It had so much potential, and seemed to accept almost any paranormal race, though she hadn’t seen any as of yet. Even as she had a seconds moment of depression, she still thought of it, frequently in hopes of finding another like her, who could become a companion like in interview with a vampire. Yes, she had to admit that it was the cheesiest and horridly false impersonation of vampires yet, but it was still her favorite movie, that she would often dream of.

Avery’s grey eyes looked down at the sand as the waves crashed and fell back into itself, but before she could inhale another scent of the wonderful salted water, she caught the scent of blood, and shot her grey eyes towards a dark figure that stood out in the moonlight of a beautiful cove. She must have been about a football yards length away, and casually kept walking up to the figure. The only emotion of confusion stayed in her grey eyes, as she came to a very alive sleeping man. Not knowing what to do, she set her guitar case behind her like a backpack and tucked her long hair behind her heavily pierced ears to get a better look. The pale girl stayed about a few lengths away watching him for a moment before hesitation and curiosity got to her. He smelled different than the average human, and so, she decided to wake him, by putting her leather-back book in front of her chest for precautions and with her pen, she leaned forward and poked his shoulder lightly. She watched him wake with a curious expression, as she returned her hand quickly to her journal in front of her chest, with blonde hair flowing over her shoulder. Smiling softly, when he did wake, there seemed to be a small sparkle of amusement in her eyes, “Hello sleepy head” she said, standing up and watching him with the same curious expression. She wanted to know what he was, and a random person or creature in a night like this also made her curious as well.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Guest July 27th 2013, 2:31 am

A sharp pain in his shoulder caused Kade to shrug the object away, a yawn escaping his lips as his eyes fluttered open. Standing before him was a beautiful woman, one that wasn't human. Her long blonde hair blew lightly in the breeze, and Kade noticed her heavily pierced ears and the tattoos. She was so different from any woman he had ever met...it intrigued him. What really caught his attention, though, was the object in her hand. A pen; the cause for his discomfort. Looking up at her with a confused expression, he only grunted in response to her greeting. Brushing the sleep from his oddly colored eyes, Kadence sat up once more and yawned, shaking the sand out from his hair. Had he fallen asleep on the beach? Luckily it wasn't the daytime...he'd have a sunburn from hell. Brushing the sand off of his v-neck black shirt, Kade stood up slowly and yawned once more. What time was it anyways?

"Hey...I'm Kade." He offered in greeting, extending his hand towards the female. His nose twitched slightly a few times as Kade picked up on her scent. A vampire, from what he could tell. Living at the school for a few years had introduced him to many different species. That made it easier for his heightened human senses to detect what she was. It was a scent that was very sweet, yet almost metallic at the same time. A scent that he knew all too well. "So...what's the deal with viciously stabbing me with a pen? I mean, just like kicking me or yelling or something would work, you know." Kade said, teasingly.

The bad thing about Kade was that he tended to flirt without realizing it. Sometimes he just got so into a conversation, felt so natural with someone, that he just went with it. And it often led to...well, lets just say he got an earful more than once. Nevertheless, he enjoyed the company of new people. Especially females. Typically, they were just nicer than males. And easier to get along with. And hey, they tended to sugarcoat everything and stare at his abs. Total ego booster.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Giovanni Salvatore July 27th 2013, 6:42 am

Bright blue eyes starring from a distance as she stayed in her dragon form. Tail lashing out behind her as she saw a female slowly walk towards -her- Kade. Sapphire scales puffing upwards but she didn't advance forward. Instead she just waited till the situation became to friendly then she liked. Parker, well, as a dragon was more feisty then she was in her dragon form. She took on a completely different personality, this one more vicious. Her tail lashed lightly as she gave a small growl, her eyes glowed darker as the girl poked him awake. Giving a snuff she averted her gaze somewhere else, 'humph' she said to herself. Snuggling closer into the cave she poked her tongue from her mouth that's when her eyes flickered to the girl that was near her mate. Flickering her tongue out once more she could taste her scent, metallic-like substance. Vampire... Was all she thought, she was fond of Vampires. She used to be slightly close to one at the school once.

However she just minded her own business, Kade was known for his flirting and she snapped at him more then twice causing her jealousy to win. She almost had one girl get hurt, shifting right in front of her, luckily she never saw her near -her- territory ever again. Twisting her head to look at the other shifter her eyes fondly on his angelic face. Well, hidden so the others down below wouldn't be able to see her she poked her head out as the moon reflected off her scales giving a soft glow to them. Slinking out her snake-like tongue once more she slowly pulled her jowls open revealing sharp large teeth. Just as she pulled out her head wind began to blow her orange and lilac scent. Oh great, now she was discovered, Kade always could tell by her scent when she was close. No use in hiding out now, gently leaping from the hole in the rocks she tucked in her wings but before her body was able to hit the earth below she pulled out her wings. Air flow catching as she began to float upwards. Flapping her wings she began to fly towards the two.

Landing with a soft thud as she shook out her wings stirring up a light sand storm. Giving an apologetic face towards her mate she leaned over and gave a soft nuzzle towards his cheek, rough scales ridding softly on his stubble chin. Deep in her chest she began to purr with delight, ~Kade! I've been looking for you.~ only way to communicate in this form was threw telepathy. However not making her a mind reader so you would have to speak aloud in order for her to know what you were saying. The pretty sapphire dragon turned to look at the girl taking in her tattoos. She actually liked them, she had one burned into her skin on her right hip. Puffing up her scales she gave a soft growl and protectively pulled her tail between the two. Oh you could tell her jealousy was coming out and soon enough if she didn't shift soon a fire breathing dragon was sure to erupt.

(-hugs the Avery- I promise you'll love Parker in her human form. She's just to protective over her Things. -sigh- Such a bad little dragon girl.)

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Guest July 27th 2013, 9:34 am

Avery stood for a bit as he offered a hand, and swung her Guitar over the other shoulder to return the hand shake. It was a cold soft hand shake that she often gave to most people. Saying that she was just always cold, and that seemed to work.

"Avery, it's a pleasure" she said with a smile, as she released her hand from him. She was still a good four feet away from the male, as he spoke again. Her grey eyes sparkled with amusement as she laughed lightly.

She didn't have time to response when a strange creature came to sit next to him. It was a Sapphire dragon, and by the looks of it, Avery and the creature seemed to be acknowledging each other, before it growled at her. The female vampire, blinked a couple of times, before smiling at the creature, "Why hello there" the blonde haired female said cheerfully.

Being nice was always in her nature, and although it was strange for a vampire to be so, she was, and very much so. In fact, she just kept smiling at the creature, and couldn't help but hear the silence overcome as the waves crashed behind her. Avery's grey eyes found the tail of the thing wrapped around Kade and at that, another light-hearted chuckled emitted, "Don't worry, I'm not interested. Just a bit curious at what he and you are" she said this with a small shrug, and with the same amusement still placed her eyes, " I mean, it's not like every day a little vampire like me gets to see other paranormals from this world, or any really" even though the words seemed cheerfull and unharmed, the blonde vampire, still felt a bit of an emotion to them, as her natural Irish accent started to kick in. Usually it wouldn't be there after a few talks, but she relaxed, and though the creature posed a threat, she could really care less, and truthfully just wanted to be friends.

Looking to Kade, she held up the pen for him to see, and noticed it was clicked open. A small guilty smile entered her features, "Sorry about that" she spoke, with the accent becoming a bit more prominent, while she clicked the pen shut, and returned it to her journal. The wind blew a bit harder, with the waves continually crashing in. This caused her hair to blow to the side like a feathery flag, and her dark purple high low dress to cascade behind her, showing from knee length down, the length of where her tattoos reached. Which for her was from the upper body down, and pretty much every part of her body was tattooed, except for the softer regions of her belly and more hidden chest area. Avery loved her tattooes, and had no problem showing them off either, while she stood awaiting the answer of the two that were in front of her.

"Avery, that's a pretty name." Kade said pleasantly, shaking her cold hand. Where he was warm, she was cold, and it came out to a sort of warm-ish handshake after a few seconds. Just as the girl was going to respond to his more playful statement, the most wonderful scent hit Kade's nose and caused a smile to form on his face. Before he knew it, he could sense the air next to him stirring moments before her rough scales slid across his stubbly cheek. There sat Parker, in all her glory, her sapphire scales practically glistening in the moonlight. Kadence immediately felt pride hit him as he looked at her dragon form, before he turned his attention to the words in his head. "Well you've found me, love. Why don't you come say hi to Avery, without the scary claws and teeth."Kade suggested teasingly, reaching up to gently scratch the soft spot beneath her wing. It'd be so much nicer if they were all in human form.

"You're from Ireland, are you? I'm from Greece." Kade informed her with a proud little smile as he heard her accent come out. Usually, he tried to keep his accent hidden, simply because it was easier than watching people trying to piece together what he was saying. As she claimed she wasn't interested, Kade feigned hurt. "Rude...anyways," He continued on, rolling his eyes. "We're shifters, me and Parker. We both have a dragon form, as you can see." He states, gesturing to the girl beside him. If she was now in human form, he would wrap an arm around her shoulders. If she was still in her dragon form, he would gently stroke her scales to comfort her, to make her see that her jealousy was unneeded.

"Funny thing about dragons...They're a bit territorial. You'll love her in her human form, trust me. Our emotions are sort of amplified when we take our other form." Kade explained easily, looking over at Parker so she could throw in any helpful details or whatever. He wasn't ever good at explaining things..."So....yeah. That's it about is dragon-kids. What's up with you, vampire?" One of the few vampires Kade had met was a child, so he didn't know much about them. Only that they're dangerous when they're young.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Giovanni Salvatore July 28th 2013, 2:50 am

The dragoness starred down at the other as she moved her head closer to Kade's giving a rumbling sound of purrs in her chest. As she scooted protectively closer the eye that was on the side of her face faced the girl. Looking at her she then gave a soft snuff, she better not be interested in -her- mate. Suddenly she paused and looked to Kade as she told her to put the claws away. Giving a soft grumbling noise she reluctantly began to shift. Concentrating on her energy she stored it in a ball, and then it burst. Shimmers bright sparkling energy, sort of like sparkles, began to fall all over her dragon form and then she began to shrink. Instead of scales she had soft milky and rose-like skin, two tone and slender arms and legs made themselves known. Her curvy stomach instantly showing, as she has on a cute white strapless bikini with an encrusted blue owl resting between her slightly larger breast. Hiding her god-given buttocks was a soft yellow bikini line bathing suit bottoms.

Bright electrifying blue eyes sparkled with kindness as she gave a wide smile, as if the dragon that was jealous never existed. Though her eyes narrowed and gave the male a light push as he said, 'Rude' As Kade explained the cause of her behavior she only nodded her head in agreement and might as well apologize, "Hey, sorry about that. Though Kade is right I seem to get a little, over protective in that other form." She gave a soft giggle, "I'm sorry if I assumed rude, it's just like Kade said I can't control my emotions as well as in this form then my dragon form." She then gave a soft shrug. Only noticing a strong arm that wrapped around her, she cuddled instantly to him. Giving a soft smile upwards as she looked with, well, pure love in her eyes. Parker then gave a shake of her head and instantly her cheeks blushed as she realized her actions, "Anyway, I'm Parker. Hopefully he didn't cause you much trouble." She said looking straight at the flirty shapeshifter at her side, giving an accusing look his way as well.

As Kade began to explain just about everything from our kind and then asked about her own specimen she couldn't help but be curious as well. Of course she had read about their species and had taken care of one but all she knew is that they had heightened senses and physical abilities, hated the sun or at least maybe even sparkled, got allergies from garlic, and drank blood. Of course the only logical book she has ever read on vampires was Dracula and Twilight. So you can assume why she looked so bright eyed and hungry to let her speak. Wiggling her toes in the now cool sand she looked back to the girl. Sweet natured Parker wouldn't rush her, heck she didn't even have to tell us about her. Though it would be ashamed if she didn't considering the shifter was just so fond of the vampire specimen.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Guest July 28th 2013, 2:14 pm

The blonde haired girl had caught scent of a group of people up ahead. From the way the smelt, one was like her, and the other two, a scent she had not yet discovered. The slender vampire hadn't been in this position, well this creature, for a while now. Things confused her and made her head throb most of the time. She didn't know anyone. Rarity missed the soft feelings the ranch had given her and the way the horses body felt under her. Walking just wasn't something she liked to do.

The sweet feelings of home became a distant memory pretty quickly. The second she learned what she was by reading up on it, the faster she fled. She had always felt like she would hurt somebody, someone she loved. And the fact that Akiva was absolutely terrified of her, she was in self pity for having to get rid of the beloved mare. Everything was falling to pieces and she didn't know what to do anymore. Maybe some new faces could cheer up the young girl.

As she approached them, she realized there was 2 girls and a boy, noting that the one girl was similar to herself. So she's the vampire. Rarity self noted that, walking a bit up to them, but staying a bit back as though not to eavesdrop on the conversation they seemed to be having. Although she was desperate to meet new people, she wasn't daring to walk up to them and interrupt what they were talking about. The last thing she needed was to be ripped apart by a species she couldn't quite put her finger on.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Guest July 28th 2013, 3:10 pm

As Kade explained his species, Avery watched as the dragon shifter turned into a girl. One curious eye brow rose as she smiled back at the female, "Not at all, I was actually coming down here to play some music and happened to find him asleep" the blonde vampire said as she patted her guitar case, and eyed the couple with bright eyes. She may have been a vampire, but she wasn't def of hearing, as the waves crashed in. Turning, she caught wind of a scent similar to hers, and when she found the girl she smiled right at her, "Hello there" she said brightly, "Would you like to join us?"

Avery was one of those creatures that didn't leave anyone out, and when the female came over, she smiled even brighter. Holding out a slender tattooed hand, "The names Avery, it's a pleasure to meet you..?"

When the girl responded, and introduced herself to everyone else, Avery then turned to the question asked earlier, "Vampires, let's see... Well we are creatures of habit that is for sure. We obviously like blood and have to stay out of the daylight, but aren't prone to only consuming blood. We can eat and drink human food, but only to make it comfortable for others not of our kind." This was a topic that Avery really had to think on, because she hadn't exactly thought of it before, and so, she put another lock of her loose long blonde hair behind her pierced ears in thought. "I guess we are kind of like the movie 'Interview with a Vampire', but it does viciously humiliate the image. As you can see, I am not one for staying hidden, and do love to meet new people. The only similarity is that we have to constantly move. Time flies and when it does humans start to question" At that she smiled and turned to the other female vampire, "Sadly though, this is the first time I have ever met another vampire in all of my 1,089 years of life as a vampire. So it truly is an occasion!"

As another wave crashed behind her, the female vampire looked up at the moon for the time and smiled in thought, shifting her guitar case to the other shoulder as it started to dig in a bit. Her grey eyes shifting between the people curiously amused of the interactions.

As Parker explained about her territorial issues, Kade listened with a small smirk. He was half-tempted to claim that it was because of how sexy he is, but her accusatory glance caused his jaw to drop, as if he were offended. "Babe, I don't cause trouble." Kade protests, scowling at Parker despite the fact that he had her cuddled up against his side. Did he really cause trouble? Nah, not really. "And she's the one who stabbed me!" Kade insists, pointing an accusing finger at Avery. 'Sorry' he mouthed the apology to her, knowing that if he could push the blame off onto someone else, Sam might let it go. "Now that we've made it clear that my fiancé isn't going to kill either one of us, lets hear about those vamps!" Kade said, excitedly.

His gaze then landed on a blonde girl who seemed to be approaching. Well shit, three girls and one sexy guy. This may get intense. Kade thought smugly to himself, his eyes going to Parker. Did he dare even offer his hand in greeting towards the new girl? There had already been a little tension...ah, who cares? He likes to live on the edge. "Hey, I'm Kade." He greeted, extending his hand towards the new girl with a smile. She looked nice, maybe a little shy...most people got over their shyness after meeting with Kade. He was actually easy to get along with, when he wasn't being all cocky.

"Woah. Vampires sound sweeeet. I'm glad it isn't like Twilight; I might have puked." Kade says teasingly, offering the small group a warm smile. Vampires sounded like what he had heard. Drank blood, fried in the sunlight, never stuck to one place. So long as they didn't sparkle, Kade had nothing against them really. "You play guitar?" Kade asked, nodding his head towards the case in her hand. "I used to play a little bit. Sang mostly." Kade said simply, to keep up conversation.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Guest July 28th 2013, 11:14 pm

Taking a moment to take in the view, a beautiful cove with a stunning view of the light blue waters crashing against the white sands of the beach, Young Rebecca had to silently thank the stranger whom had directed her to this perfect spot. Grabbing hold tightly to her book, its fragile state probably unsuited for a day at the beach, but is to rich with information about her family not to bring it everywhere. Gazing around the beach with her dull blue eyes, she caught sight of a small group resting on a bench, and couldn't help but raise a curious smile towards them. "One guy surrounded by a bunch of pretty girls, I guess it is heaven around here." Becca mumbled to herself before going to sit on a rock, thankfully far down the beach so that she wouldn't be disturbed.

After finally reaching the stone, Becca quickly got comfortable and started to gently open the old book. The soft breezes that flowed off of the water was refreshing, and blew back her loose strands that had fallen out of her messy bun as she attempted to read the old fashion cursive that danced across the book. Page after page, Becca sat in the sun, her naturally pale skin tone softly darkening as truth and history spilled out of the book and into the young shifters mind. Finally not being able to handle the feeling of her great lost, she closed the book, and rested her head in her hands, elbows balancing on her thighs.

Taking in large breaths of the salty air, in attempt to calm herself, she began to wonder about the ocean. Staring at the crashing waves, her breathing steady as her mind went blank. Beautiful waves, seeming so calm and perfect, but in the end they always end up crashing. How strange it was to some how connect the ocean to herself. The two where free to go anywhere, but no madder where they went, they would always crash. Sighing to her confusion of life, she turned her gaze over to the small group once more, and realized yet another clue to the mystery of life. They did not care about what was going to happen next, and they where not going cry about their past either. They where having fun. That was all she was missing, 'fun'.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Giovanni Salvatore July 29th 2013, 2:46 am

Parker gave a soft roll of her electric blue eyes as he said that she wouldn't kill them. Please as if Parker didn't feel bad for accidentally killing a spider with her foot. She was trying to get it out safely when all of a sudden her foot came and smushed the innocent bug. Parker shuddered at the memory no need to be talking about her feelings for a bug. Though being a shift she could connect with animals and she felt horrible for killing them, even a bug. Noticing that her mind was drifting her gaze turned to the other girl that had made herself known. Giving a genuinely sweet smile that belong to her Parker finally caught the other Vampire's name as well. She knew she should have asked earlier but she was just being her shy self. Moving closer to Kade feeling a bit overwhelmed she wasn't used to big crowds like her fiancé is. However she did gripped onto that emotion and tried to fade it away.

Extending her small hand to the new girl she said softly in her bell-like voice, "Hello, I'm Parker. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." (if your character accept Parker's hand include if not you don't need to) As her hand slipped into her own she instantly felt a cold chill running down her warm body. It was like a freezer but she didn't show how strange it felt to her. As the girls pale hand stood out a small amount from her own milky-type skin. Smile never fading as she gave a light shake then gently departed from her hand. Placing her forearm back to her side she wiggled her way closer towards Kade. Seeming as though he was her foundation right now since she needed a bit of assurance that she would be okay.

The dragoness-shifter looked down her tattoo seemed to brightened a bit, as if glowing. Instantly pulling her hand overtop of her as if it never bothered her. She hated when it did that, not normal at all. Then again she was far from normal, as Avery announced the other's species she still had on her bright smile though her eyes widened, "Oh another Vampire!" She cooed out. As she seemed to notice that her tattoo had died down to its original dullness she gently untucked her hand from her hip.

As the girl explained to them about the way a vampire is she had all her assumptions correct. Then her curiosity peaked her more as she wanted to know if they were really... Dead. However she would -not- be so blunt and rude to blurt that out, especially if she didn't know the two of them that well, plus the new-girl probably didn't want that subject to be brought up either. She would feel bad if she hurt any of their feelings. Parker settled her eyes to Kade and then her nose caught another scent. She could sense another presence as well, slowly the blonde looked over her shoulder just barely making out an outline of a girl in the moonlight. She looked alone and she instantly felt a bit sorry for her. Wanting to walk over their she then though -maybe- the girl didn't want to be bothered that's why she moved far off. She frowned and then slowly returned her gaze back to the group.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Guest July 29th 2013, 4:16 pm

The young girl had just been focusing on the waves on the opposite side of the group. It was quite beautiful and almost made her slightly heartsick, but she pushed it away. This was not the time for it. Her mind found itself deep in memory once more, only to be pulled back out when a voice rang through the air, directed at her. Her blue eyes turned to see a girl with tattoos speaking to her and she realized this must be the vampire she has smelt out. It felt kind of relieving to find another of her kind so quickly. Slowly and cautiously, moving as although it were a trap, she gave a soft smile.

The blonde haired girl returned the smile, her eyes shining slightly. Being welcomed some where was so common in her old life, but here it felt like some kind of blessing or even miracle. She pushed the strands of hair out of her face, reaching to meet the girl named Avery's hand and give it a shake before letting go. "Sure, I would love to. Oh, and it's Rarity." She gave the girl another friendly smile, showing white teeth, as she relaxed a little and listened to Avery's explanation on vampires. It was defiantly a shocker to her to hear about it, then to learn how long it had been until Avery had met another vampire. Rarity had gotten very lucky meeting one so soon.

Turning her attention to the girl and guy standing close together, she gave another warm smile. The man called Kade gave off a weird vibe to the girl. No, not a bad one. Just an..arrogant one. By the way he acted, he seemed full of himself, like he ran everything and was on top of the world. But Rarity wasn't one to judge, she pushed it away and shook his hand. Assuming he had heard her name, he listened to his response to Avery before turning her attention away from him and to the girl who sat close to him.

She seemed to have the opposite personality from her partner. Learning her name was Parker, Rarity smiled at the friendly voice and gladly shook her hand. The happy vibe off the girl made Rarity think they would get along just fine. She stepped back a bit, giving the group room to breathe and continue on with whatever they had been talking about. By the way introductions seemed to be flowing, she assumed Avery was new to the group as well. As the wind changed direction, she caught another familiar scent and turned to see a girl's outline a bit away from them. The girl looked like she wanted to be alone, but Rarity silently wondered if it was just an act. With a mental shrug, she turned back to the group. If she wanted to join them, she could come over, Rarity wasn't going to intrude on her space.

She couldn't help but watch the small group, in wonder of what they could be talking about, and how they knew each other. But taking notice as they seemed to just be meeting one of the blondes, she couldn't help but assume that some didn't really know each other. But then again there was the two whom where snuggling quite close, the male and one of the blondes. Looking down at her hands, the old book resting beside her, Rebecca swallowed down her current situation so that she could start weighing the possibility of actually going to great them.

In doing so, she would have to hide away her book in her jacket, take a long and lonely walk across the beach, and if she had any guts left in her, greet the strangers. That was a lot of work, and it seemed like to much attention for this shy soul. But then what else is she suppose to do? Sit around like a idiot and wait for one of them? She already kinda did that now didn't she? The questioning matters hanged over the young brunets head for a few minutes before courage filled her bloodstream and she was tucking away the old history book.

Taking deep breaths for a few seconds, she screamed at herself to bulk up and take madders into her own hands, silently. Standing upright, Becca brushed off the small amount of sand that stuck to her jeans, before slapping on a small but friendly smile and began the lonely and slightly embarrassing walk over to the happy bunch. The smell of the ocean filled her noise on the walk, as its soft breeze flowing through her hair and sweeping over her body. Once she was within a few feet of the bunch, a fluttering feeling filled her body and the thought of abandoning the idea was looking very promising. But she pushed herself and looking up, she found herself gazing over the friendly looking group with a loss of words.  "Um, I'm sorry, I saw you guys and I was wondering if I can hang out for a bit? My names Rebecca, friends call me Becca." She greets nervously, trying not to look so stupid, but failing miserably.

The older female was extatic inside, as she looked from the two females and Kade with a warm smile. When her delicate nose caught scent of another person, she couldn't help but smile brighter, a more toothy grin as she noticed a brown haired girl walking over with a shy appearance. "Yes, I love the guitar the most" she said to Kade, before turning to the girl who came closer and spoke.

She looked at the shy creature and smiled, yet another warm smile. But it wouldn't matter how warm it looked, it would always be a cold one to the touch. Her hair blew around her face a bit, as she looked to the three females and the male. Her own opinions hidden about them, but with her friendly Irish accent, she could only chuckle softly, "The more the merrier Becca, it's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Avery."

She was always so friendly, and so when she held out her hand for the girl to shake, she couldn't help but notice a small worn book underneath her jacket, and brightened her smile even more. The vampire's opinions and thoughts were still hidden, and the only thing that showed was her kind and cheerful atmosphere.

When one of the blondes, with a kind and warm looking smile, had accepted her and greeted her into the little group, a thankful nod and half smile was returned. Rebecca was not one to be so comfortable around strangers, and was not going to change that most likely. But these people looked so care free, so welcoming, that there was a chance of some possibly friendships to be found here. When the blonde had offered her hand, Rebecca gladly took it, shook gently, and then released. Within that single touch, Rebecca could almost swear that this women was not as human as Rebecca had first thought. Cold and soft at the touch her skin was, something Caroline has only experience once or twice before.

Wrapping her arms around herself, as she felt a little weird to just be standing there, Rebecca would wait to see what the conversation was before adding on to it. Looking over the members of the group, Carol found two, the boy and a blonde, to most likely be a couple. The others seemed to either be friends or newly acquainted friends. Hopefully they where newly acquainted, that would make it less awkward, in her opinion at least.

When the new girl approached them, the smile on Rarity's face grew and she waved introducing herself kindly to the girl. But it was getting late and she knew she was going to have to get back to that little house soon. Night would be approaching, the waves would grow. As much as she wanted to stay with the group, her eyes were beginning to get heavy, and she longed for the warmth of the tiny bed. She had to hand it to them, they were quite friendly, more than she had expected, and she defiantly didn't regret meeting them.

Rarity gave another small smile. "Thank you guys for inviting me over, I gladly appreciate it, but I really have to get going. It's getting late and I'm exhausted. It was nice to meet all of you, hopefully we can meet again sometime." With another light smile, she waved her hand in goodbye before she turned and set off at a quick walk, heading for the small apartment like house that she cherished so much.

"Rarity? That's a really pretty name." Kade said sincerely, offering her a smile. His attention turned to Parker, and his eyes slowly drifted down to the glowing tattoo on her hip. Offering her a crooked grin, he turned his attention back to the group in front of them. Two vampires; that was wicked. Kade had so many questions about them, but he didn't want to be rude. Besides, they weren't being all nosy and questioning the habits of a dragon, were they? No, they weren't, so he fell silent after he had introduced himself. His nose twitched slightly at another scent, and he turned his eyes towards yet another girl who had found her way to the beach. Kadence would have to watch what he said from here on out. He knew that he had a tendency to flirt without realizing it, and especially around Parker he didn't want to do that. That was just plain disrespectful. Besides, he was sure they'd all snap at him; women tended to get mean when in large groups. What a joy it was to be the only male...

"Hi, Becca." Kade said softly towards the new girl. He offered her a wave before going on. "See you, Rarity. It was nice to meet you." Kade said happily, wrapping his arm tighter around his fiancé as he looked at the other two girls. "Have you guys been here long?" He wondered with curiosity. He and Sam hadn't been here too long. They'd gotten an apartment(?) in town and were in the process of starting their new lives, of starting a family. And SOTU seemed like the perfect place.

Seaside Cove Empty Re: Seaside Cove

Post by Kazuma Makoto December 9th 2013, 4:08 pm

It was a fairly quick trip and the driver of Kazuma's personal vehicle made sure to be hasty about returning the group to the large estate on the beach, the tremors in Kazu's arms had nearly caused him to pass out there in the car and he was thankful to be home so soon. Home... Here, he felt safe from harm within the iron fences and secure perimeter, guards hired for around the clock services, on a few rare occasions his walls had been penetrated though he simply rebuilt the manor stronger than the last time. The jet black SUV pulled through the main gate and up the long driveway towards the towering manor, lights lit up in just about every window as they always were, the beach not too far at all. Immediately one of the many servants approached his side of the vehicle to aid the hybrid inside and another fetched the door for the two girls he had brought home to escort them inside too. Kazuma tossed a command to his servants to see to it that Raven and her little friend were made comfortable and to prepare the meal for the evening.

Separate me from my own two hands, I've killed so many times, (you look so good) but I can't save the world from the creatures that don't die.

With her head leaning against the window, and her eyes shut, Raven imagined herself prancing around with that exact song, Props & Mayhem playing in the background softly. Sure, she had a strange imagination, but car rides gave her bad headaches, and with her not driving...day dreaming seemed like a perfect option to take her mind of things. With Zoey by her side, Raven let out a quiet sigh, her eyelids opening to peek around as the car slowly slid to a stop. It wasn't a long ride, no, but still. She was tired. Zoey yawned, leaning her head against Raven's  side before she straightened, letting herself slip out of the car. Raven, on the other hand, got out much slower, holding back a yawn as the two girls were led inside. It was a big place. Nothing Raven hadn't expected. Somehow she knew Kazuma would live well, in a nice place such as the one she entered.

Staring at things here and there, Raven whispered a description to Zoey. The little girl wanted to know what it looked like, and Raven swore she saw Zoey's eyes widen, and a large, little cute smirk appear on her lips before her expression was masked. Swinging their linked hands, Raven stood there before she followed a maid-looking girl into another room, and Raven instantly went to describing the rooms for her little friend.

The maid escorted the two young girls right on into the manor and once inside she ushered them into a large and elegant sitting room, she smiled sweetly as she lead them in and mentioned that dinner would be served soon. Giving a small bow, the maid then left to go tend to other chores. Kazuma's servants were not used to having guests here that were... common folk. Most of the time he had those like himself, wealthy delegates and other important people from different nations often visited his estate to discuss important matters, exchange various goods et cetera. Of course, money was always at the top. A few men lead the aristocrat towards the lab that rested up on the second floor of the manor with haste as Kazu was growing weaker by the moment, thankfully the medical staff on hand was prepared to act as soon as he was shoved through the doors. Quickly they took the vials from the white haired fiend and began to whip up something to fight off what ever virus that had invaded the hybrid's body and caused him a great deal of pain. Mumbling incoherently on the cold hard lab table, they strapped him down not knowing how this would go and sanitized the area they would be injecting the needle into. Kazuma felt a slight sting and flinched against the straps, barking a few insults in the process, but soon stopped as he felt his pains start to cease and the strength return to him gradually. It was over within a quarter of an hour. Rubbing his wrists after he was released, Kazu then simply left without thanking them and headed on his merry way to the dinning hall, he could smell all sorts of delicious aromas and they made his mouth water. Before he could reach it however, he paused and glanced out the corner of his eye towards the sitting room to spot a few figures. They didn't dawn maid outfits and that stood out to him. He had nearly forgotten that he had invited them over and stopped himself from snapping at them."I'm sure dinner is almost ready, care to walk with me?'' It was like poison to talk so mannerable but he grit his teeth and dealt with it, Kazuma had brought this upon himself.
