Sleepy Hollow Empty Re: Sleepy Hollow

Post by Guest September 8th 2013, 12:43 am

"What the He-.." The glass peered back at him in his own reflection, an angular jaw and toned frame in resemblance as well as a matching pair of beautiful sapphire eyes that shown brighter than the crystal waters of the deep blue sea. His torso was bare, but left to hang from his hips fitted a pair of ripped and faded jeans laced with a lean black spiked belt as always. A silver chain hooked to one of the belt loops and swayed at the side of his hip to the mid of his thigh until it connected back into his pocket to his wallet. His plans were cleared, and left with nothing to do, so he made sure of himself he'd be doing something by the end of the day besides grumbling over his horrible case of morning cowlick. Like every time he woke up, his hair stuck up in strange angles, brown and black curls swooped about freely until he would finally brush it all to the one side or keep it as it is with a bit of gel to make it stay. The strange idea to venture the outside-lands peeked at his attention, and he smirked at himself in the mirror as it tickled his mind a bit more, satisfying his taste of life for the day until he finally clapped his hands in agreement. Jogging down the hall, he wandered into his room and threw on a plain black t-shirt with a tiny pink cancer ribbon ironed just like a polo shirt would on the right peck of the shirt over his chest. His dog-tags hung around his neck, clinking against each other with each step towards his electric blue Challenger 75 RT, giving it a punch to life to roar happily before cranking it back onto the dirt roads towards a secret place he had in mind.

Windows rolled down, he blasted alternative and rock songs through the town until he made his way on the outskirts of the town, passing mere mortals with a slight smile to the ladies he would catch whistling from a far. He hid his eyes from the bright sun's light with a pair of movie star shades, singing to the words that went with the song, "..I'll slow it down 'cause I know that you can't keep up. Oh maybe I, maybe I, was wrong from the start. I might be proud, but at least I'm proud of somethin'. You've taken pride, of becoming no-thing..." Ashton nodded his head and beat his palms against the dash and steering wheel with almost every song he knew and loved that played through the radio until his destination was met. It did not take long with the entertainment he was cooped with, but he didn't care as it was fun. Taking out his guitar, he searched the premisses for any signs of others, coming up short when the ghost was clear and slowly moving on along through the hollow terrain until he saw the little treehouse out yonder. Raking his hand through his hair, he did another glance around the area for better measure, smiling and walking towards the hangout for him to set his carried down and get himself a root-beer from the mini fridge the other people that stayed there kept for their stuff or if anyone wanted to lounge about there. It was not much, just enough to keep him occupied and free of worried and errands needed to be done, and it was not like him to be out and about unless a friend invited him to. This was nice, perfect for him in that case. Resting himself on a worn in couch made for at most three people, he stretched out and took his guitar to lay over his stomach, tuning it slowly with his nimble fingers. He scratched at the numerous bracelets over both wrists and ignored them while beginning to strum freely over the strings as they played a beautiful piece he remembered after so long throughout the place, filling him with serenity almost instantly.

Sleepy Hollow Empty Re: Sleepy Hollow

The young hybrids eyes adjusted to the light as she blinked her small eyes open. A small swish of her tail and a grumpy 'meow' was involved. She slipped under the large white pillow, the bottom half of her small form was exposed. She gave a snort and then tucked her tail around her, it wasn't ready to get up right. That's when her snout poked up into the air and she looked to the window. The sun was going down and the half vampire gave a small roll towards the side, snuggling herself in the pillows, not wishing to get up yet. Not wishing to continue her long search. Her padded paws were wearing into hard and scruffed up. She finally slowly rose to her small aching paws, once she was human she was treating herself to a pedicure and a massage. Going towards the edge of the bed she dropped down toward the smooth hardwood floor. She hasn't slept very good in over a week and even a good sleep would be a decent 5 hours or so. Her front paws stretched out in front of her as her rear end turned into an arch. Stretching out her jowls opened as two rows of bottom and top baby teeth were shown. She regained her posture and smacked her lips together. Heading downstairs she went towards the fridge, a rope was handing on both sides of the handles. One for the freezer the other for the fridge, she gripped the rope firmly in her teeth and yanked the fridge open.

Shiloh jumped up towards the top shelf easily and then grabbed a milk jug, she then dropped it towards the ground. It fell with a splatter and she almost fell with it as well as getting shut in the fridge. She leaped down on her feet and then watched as the milk slid on the floor. Her rough pink tongue began to lap up the cool liquid, a made would soon come by and clean up the mess as well as leave her some food for later. The elves were gracious enough to take care of her after Arya's death. Padding towards the window sill she leaped up and looked outside, she watched as the fading sun just licked the sky before disappearing down below. Shiloh's day had just begun and she leapt down only to run off towards the front door of the simple cottage, slipping easily through the cat-door. She began to walk through the forest of a thousand voices. Hearing a few hoots from the darker regions. She could easily be someone's meal, she was useless in this form, once she actually was taken by an eagle and luckily she had scratched the birds underbelly to have him drop her, broke a rib or two but nothing that wouldn't heal easily.

She then watched as the forest got less dense and then a car zoomed past her almost getting hit by the speeder luckily she was quick and backed away fast enough. She watched as the car began to cruse down the road dust flying up. She heard the music and her ears picked right up, she hasn't seen a car in these part of the woods before. Curiosity began to spark up in her small body and she began to walk down the warn out road, leaves and branches crushed by various tires, the trees cut along so that it wouldn't catch on anyone's car and blow the paint job. After ten minutes she was crossing the eery bridge that lead to a tree house. Mossy green hues widening a bit her head tilted towards the side. Her sharp ears pulled forward when she came closer and heard a soft strumming of guitar. She was careful and found a window that was left open. Jumping on the sill with grace she slipped in and began to walk along the hardwood floor of the tree house. It was pretty inside and gave a cozy feeling, she followed the melody of the acoustic guitar. She poked her head in and then padded in, jumping on the table the small grey and white cat looked towards the blonde headed male with the wind blown hair. The various colors of bracelets wrapped around his arm and a guitar was placed gently in his hands. She settled on her haunches and just enjoyed the lulling sounds it brung.

Sleepy Hollow Empty Re: Sleepy Hollow

Post by Guest September 12th 2013, 10:14 pm

( He's singing Mayday Parade - The Memory, and he's not a blonde. He has dark brown hair. lol )

Delicately, his fingers slowly played the music, licking over his top lip as it had become a bit chapped in the moments of humidity the area had been provided unfortunately with as of lately. He did not complain of the weather, as it was natural to him, but after a while, he could not resist the urge to want to become irritated all together and stay inside. However, being the person he was, he could never stay in one place for very long unless he was alone. Holding the neck of the guitar and pinching the strings to switch to separate notes, his voice carried out around the house and out its windows in a smooth and rasp tone, singing from his heart happily no matter how shattered it was, "...She is everywhere I go.. everyone I see...Winter's gone and I still can't sleep...summer's on the way...At least that's what they say, but these clouds won't leave..," It had been so long since he had sang like this to no one, oh how happy he could be without a care in the world, just to be here, in this moment and stay here forever. But, it wasn't as great as it was when she was here, however, he wouldn't see her in a long while, because that was saved for another day. All he could do now was live in the moment, have a life and give it his all to achieve something of himself besides working in a silly guitar shop.

"Walk away...barely breathing..As I'm lying on the floor,..take my heart - as you're leaving...I don't need it anymore.." His eyes remained closed, soaking the song up from dust and memory to be sang, only to be noted for later as he finished half-way through it. There was no need to finish, but he knew there was another near, and judging by the dainty pawsteps, it was no human, or so he thought that is. Looking around, he spotted nothing, finding everything in place and getting up to search the room in spite of discovering a peeping tom watching him from a far. Turning his head to the right, he arched a curious brow as he peered down at a foggy grey and ghostly white kitten before him, smiling softly before kneeling down to its eye level. His primary shift was a kitten too by choice, even though he could be whatever he wished, it was always easier to win someone's attention with a cute disguise like that. Carefully, he reached out his hand to stroke its fur, hesitant as it may be scared, but he spoke in a soft tone not to frighten the creature, "Hey there...", he said, smirking slightly under his breath while putting the guitar over his shoulder from its strap, "I guess I won't be spending the day alone after all, or are you some shifter too and I don't know it?" He questioned the kitten, tilting his head as he wondered if it would actually answer back, thinking he's secretly insane for thinking it was one of his kind if it were a real pet.

As the strumming continued she just stayed back and watched the male with the dark brown locks. Her eyes began to look all over him but she was really studying his hands. They steadily began to pinch the certain strings as well as his other hand strum. His concentration seemed to be on his music so she just stayed there quiet and sneaky like a mouse, she stifled a laugh but realized it would only be in her head she she laughed at her metaphor. That's when her ears perked up and she slowly moved to her stomach. She felt his pain and heartache stab her in the chest like an arrow to a target. Something was wrong, desperately wrong with him. However, he had a smile planted on his face even though he hurt so much he was still trying to sing that song with a smile. She frowned and wanted to just pounce up and snuggle him. Of course that was just her kitten side calling out towards him. As well as feeling his pain her ears lowered down as she began to twitch her tail. Trying to block out his feelings she concentrated on being emotionless. Then everything just seemed to leave her, luckily it was just him here otherwise she wouldn't be able to handle so much. As she lulled along to his singing she then realized what song it was. Twitching her ears she continued to listen; she hasn't heard much music except natures own from the birds that usually chimed from the cottage window. She gave a soft yawn and continued to watch the male from afar.

As she heard the guitar slowly die away she frowned, wishing to only here more. It's been to log since she heard a guitar, she played of course acoustic was her favorite. She was jealous of the male, she wasn't able to play her guitar in two years she's been stuck like this. She mumbled in her head and that's when she realized that she had been heard. She felt his emotion's shift to alert and attentive. Watching as he managed to get up from the couch and walk where she was. Shiloh didn't scurry or run away like most cats usually did when they saw a stranger she just sat perfectly still. As the male came to eye level she realized that he was pretty cute, actually very cute. As his hand began to stretch out she leaned into it allowing him to stroke her soft fur. The kitten began to lean into it and as his hand started to fall down to her rear end it fell upwards in an arch. She purred lightly and then at his question she tried to contemplate if she should talk to him or not.

Walking closer her body pressed against his knees still thinking if she could talk to him or not. Last person she talked to was Arya and she had died two months later. Right when she thought everything was going to be okay, it wasn't. The elf had died in front of her and she had put her in that position all because she knew where she was and she knew everything. Maybe she could talk to him but not tell him anything, trust barely came across her. She slowly sighed a long one inside his head, her emerald hues looked up to him, ~I'm not a shifter...~ Shiloh said easily in his head, her lips not moving but he could hear her crystal clear, ~I'm actually a werecat, well, half and half vampire.~ She said softly, ~I'm sorry if I intruded. I really didn't mean to...~ She said softly.

Sleepy Hollow Empty Re: Sleepy Hollow

Post by Guest December 17th 2013, 12:48 am

It seemed like always, that Zeke Cameron intruded on conversations, and like always, he was to casually be blamed for eavesdropping. When in reality, this shifter was just taking his regular silenced, lonesome stroll. He just so happened to pick a place where he would have thought there would be no one, however, as his footsteps rustled against the leaves making the lonely walk seem less of that, he heard voices. And a female voice at that. Not catching all of it, till he made his way past the area did he stop, to lean against a tree. The hands that were thrust in his pockets emerged and folded with his arms. The hoodie he happened to have on hid everything but the hair on his head. "A hybrid... how interesting" he mumbled, knowing they could easily hear him, and waited a breath before answering the true question. Who was he and why was he here... "Sorry to intrude, I just so happened to hear the end of that conversation while taking a stroll through these parts of the town I so rarely get to see". His voice was dull, and nonetheless emotionless, while he continued to lean against the tree, not daring to look at them till they decided to cross that bridge and focus on him. That is, if they decided to or not.

Sleepy Hollow Empty Re: Sleepy Hollow

Post by Clementine LockWind June 22nd 2014, 11:38 am

Clementine soared through the sky a black hawk with wide wing span and a middle sized body casted a shadow down upon the earth. She flapped her wings and glided for a few minutes before flapping them again. She was really just site seeing, she hasn't been on earth since she was just a kid, died at around eight by the hands of her abusive mother. She frowned and shook her head at the thought she wasn't going to think about that right now. She was almost eighteen years of age and she had grown into a beautiful young women. Her beak opened as she made a high pitched bird sound. Her gaze sweeping over the green foliage and that's when she had to do a double take as she say a small house like structure. She had heard that there was a place over here where teenagers and abnormals usually hung out. Interesting. Being curious she slowly brought her body down towards the cottage. Her wings tucked at her side as she spiraled down. As soon as she was about to crash she opened her wings and flew upwards. Flapping the powerful joints in her wings she began to descend slower. Flapping every now and again till she hovered above the ground. Shifting she fell into a crouch, her blonde hair sweeping over her tan face. She looked up and then stood straight her gaze curious and cautious as she began to make her way towards the simple treehouse. Careful to test the bridge that separated the house from the ground.

She grabbed the handle and pushed forward, it was a pretty nice place. TV, couch, pool table, it sure was a place to hang out. She walked along books took shelter on the walls of the living room and she placed her fingers gently on the bindings. She walked around towards the other rooms and then smirked as she found a guitar next to the piano. She hasn't really played much except in the after life every once in awhile. She died before she got really good but her teacher said she was a natural. She touched the neck of the acoustic and strummed one of the strings and it made a deep rumble sound filling the house with that note. She flopped down on the seat and then placed her hands on the the guitar bringing it to sit on her lap. She then pressed each finger down as she began to play her other hand strumming the other strings. She threw her hair over her shoulder and mover her hands easily as she began to play her song. Then she slowly began to sing, softly at first then a little louder as she found her voice. Luckily for her no one was listening in on her, at least that's what she thought.

Sleepy Hollow Empty Re: Sleepy Hollow

Post by Grayson Lucian June 24th 2014, 10:46 am

The air was cool, especially for a summer morning, but that didn’t stop the Lucian from running in his wolf form. His breath steamed out of his mouth as he breathed it rolling up in a white cloud. His paws made a whispering sound against the dirt as he ran, but not much else could be heard unless you could hear his thundering heart. The clouds above were a vibrant orange and yellow color as the sun began to rise. The air was full of scents, animals, trees, dirt everything. His black ears flicked and his gold green eyes were sharp and focused. He didn’t feel like a wolf at this moment, he felt free. He didn’t really care where he ran as long as he ran, he did have a mission but it wasn’t that important to him this morning. Why? He wasn’t sure. As the trees began to thin out he heard a cry of a bird above him but he only flicked an ear. He could smell her before he could see her. She had the scent of wild roses which surprised him but it didn’t bother him. He shifted into his other form, slipping on his clothes so he wouldn’t pop in naked. His eyes roamed over the old looking tree house, now curious of the old place. The wood on it still looked smooth and had a glossy look to it, but he could tell it was old. He opened his mouth to call up to who ever was in there when he heard the guitar and the soft sound of someone singing. He tilted his head, his black hair flopping over in his eyes as did. He pushed his hair back giving a soft irritated growl and slowly climbed up into the tree house.

It didn’t smell as musty as he thought it would, it was actually furnished and had a new pine smell to it. He slipped into the tree house hearing the singing grow louder. His eyes roamed over all the new looking stuff in the house and wondered who exactly hung out here. It looked like expensive stuff, and he was a little surprised there was no lock in the door. His eyes half narrowed in thought as he moved through the little area and into the living room. The singing had gone from soft to a bit louder and he stood just in the doorway watching the girl. He finally opened his mouth and spoke. “You..have a beautiful voice.” He commented quietly towards her. He knew he wasn’t to impressive to look at it, his white shirt had a few smudges of dirt on it and his jeans were holey. His hair was flopped over into his eyes, and his leather jacket was old but still his. His eyes were bright green and flecked with gold. His smile was bright, but there wasn’t any piercings on him. He had the Lucian look, and maybe even the attitude but he was...different. “My name is uh..Grayson. What’s your name? Sorry for barging in on you.” He said these words quickly not wanting to frighten the girl away. She was the first person he had seen in a long….long time. He moved to sit to see that he wasn’t dangerous.

Sleepy Hollow Empty Re: Sleepy Hollow

Post by Clementine LockWind June 25th 2014, 1:40 am

Her voice steady and strings continually strumming the house was filled with her sweet song. She wasn't really paying attention to anything besides her music so the reaction of shock she felt when she heard a deep voice behind her made the guitar make a sour note as she quickly shifted into a little mouse and was running for cover. She stayed there for a minute or to her fast beating heart hammering in her small brown chest. That's when his words registered in her mind as she called her voice pretty. She slowly crawled out of her little hiding place and stood up on her hind legs. Sparks flying from the shifter she was back human, her vibrant purple eyes starring at the other. She had to blink again, he looked so familiar but she couldn't match his face with anyone at the moment. Taking in his attire she crossed her arms around her back her nails becoming claw-like ready to defend herself. She had on a normal girl style outfit ( https://2img.net/h/oi57.tinypic.com/11k9po4.jpg hyper link was being stubborn) watching the other she gave a slow nod as he introduced himself.

Keeping out of reach of the other the girl slowly began to step forward and grabbed the guitar that had fallen against the wooden floors. As he asked for her name her body tensed a little and she moved her eyes to study the other watching as he had taken a seat to seem less threatening towards her she gave a light smile in acknowledgement, "oh, um, I'm Clementine." She then gave a soft laugh, "Like the fruit." She then moved a little and bit at her plush bottom lip. She then grabbed the guitar and then placed it back on the stand where she found it, "Sorry if I disturbed you, mate." Her Australian accent had been layered thick. She situated her clothes before she sat against the chair infront of him, "So, Grayson, where are you from or are you originally from here." She asked as she swept her blonde locks away from her purple gaze.

Sleepy Hollow Empty Re: Sleepy Hollow

Post by Grayson Lucian June 25th 2014, 10:39 am

Grayson had not expected her to be a shifter. When she shifted he moved back slightly, he hadn’t meant to scare her. He stood still until she came out from behind the chair and then shifted back. He was amazed at the difference between shape shifters and werewolves. It seemed to painless, but maybe for him, it was about the moon and the way it cycled. He scratched his arm as she shifted back into her human form. She seemed so shaky, and it made him slightly nervous. He felt really bad that he had scared her that much. He was a bit surprised the girl even responded to him. With her words he gave her a cheeky grin. Clementine, just like the fruit. He wondered if she was just as sweet as the fruit, but he pushed those thoughts out. ‘Try to be civil.’ He thought to himself a little angry that he had let that thought even get to his head. Her Australian accent caused him to look at her in surprise. He liked how it formed on her plush lips and came out a sweet melody. He smiled slightly showing his fanged wolf teeth. He drew in a breath as she continued to talk, and put his best foot forward. He would answer her honestly, there was no point in lying to her. He hated lying in any case, he wasn’t good at it what’s so ever. The question about where he had lived before did disturb him a little because he had no clue how she would react towards his words. She could come flying at him in any form she wished and rip his throat out. He licked his lips and ran his fingers through his hair again pushing his bangs out of the way. For once he was grateful he didn’t say his last name, apparently a lot in this town knew the last name. “No i was not originally here. I lived in a different..place.” He wasn’t sure how to explain it but he hoped she caught his drift. “I’m here on a mission one would suppose...but your just about the first person I’ve talked to that hasn’t run away from me.” He said this with a sort of nervous laugh at the end looking at her with worried eyes. He didn’t want her to run, he had always been a confident person at being friendly but many just turned their back. Was this really how the world was? He sure as hell wasn’t enjoying it. He looked at Clementine in the eyes to show her that he wasn’t afraid, but his green gold eyes were soft and friendly. He was a friendly guy, always had been. He licked his lips again and gave her a true smile. “I’m sure you won’t run, but who knows. You are sort of like me in a way.” He said quietly stuffing one of his hands into his pocket in silence. He glanced around and saw a bean bag chair in the corner and walked over to it. He sat down in the confines of the bean bag chair and sighed as he sank in. “What about you? Are you originally from here?” He was curious to know whether or not she came from the same place as him.

Sleepy Hollow Empty Re: Sleepy Hollow

Post by Clementine LockWind June 26th 2014, 3:42 pm

The female didn't really know how to react towards the male. She usually was in her animal forms, they held security for her. She sniffed softly in his direction having to use her dog sense of smell to really get a good whiff. He smelled like the woods and fresh rain, she slowly with drew her form slightly away from him. She was small, only standing at 5'2 and he was... Well, she had to tilt her head up just to be able to look at him. A soft smile graced against her pink lips and then she frowned lightly, "I was originally from here, until I was placed far, far, away." She shrugged. She didn't know he was talking about the afterlife, clearly unable to take a hint and hear the tone of his voice change a little as he explained it. She had gotten up a little fidgety and finally she found a comfortable place to sit down. Her legs crossed she sat back slightly and took in a deep breath.

She pulled her head up as he said that most people were afraid of him and that he hoped she wouldn't run away. That made her smile and she shook her head, "You won't scare me away easily, Grayson." She laughed and slowly she began to rise up to her feet once again, "Sorry... I don't like standing still." Truth is she had been diagnosed with ADHD when she was younger so her attention span wasn't all there either and sometimes caused her trouble to be around and making friends. She then had finally gotten the courage and walked forward. Her van covered feet touching the wooden floors but making hardly a thud as she was stealthy like a feline. She then had gotten fairly close to his face her nose only inches apart from his and she could see the bright green hues that had flecks of gold around the pupil, needless to say they were indeed quite beautiful.

She bit her bottom lip, a nervous habit she had, and tilted her head quizzedly to the side, "What are you?" She asked knowing he was an abnormal and with that question she had pulled her head back to give the lad some space. She wasn't much to look at, she was barely like her older half sister, Amber, she sniffed lowly. Straightening out her back her blonde locks had moved behind her dainty shoulders as she began to pick at all her fuzzies from her grey sweater, soon she found herself back on the couch. Her foot tapping to a melody that was in her head. Her bright purple gaze once more registered upwards to look into his own eyes but only getting nervous and quickly looking at something else but occasionally sneaking glances at the other.

Grayson tilted his head as she fidgeted around and finally answered his question. He silently tapped his fingers against his knee and then nodded his head a bit. He was curious of what Far, Far away meant. It sounded, to him, like a fairy tale land. It almost made the ends of his lips quirk up in a smile but he had to be serious. ”What does Far, Far away mean? Did something happen?” He had to immediately close his mouth and give her an apologetic smile. ”Sorry Clementine….I uh...I sometimes get carried away with my questioning.” He gave her another apologetic smile and watched as she tried to sit and then get back up. He nodded to her understanding that she had be doing something in order to focus. Grayson was sometimes that way, he sometimes had to be doodling to listen. He swallowed as she took in a sniff. She was trying to catch a scent, try to see what he was. It made him give a soft chuckle as he looked at her. ”At least i’m not scary.” He commented as she moved around trying to focus herself.

When she got closer to him, he had the urge to stand up and avoid looking into her eyes but he ignored that feeling. He knew that it was childish to think of and that she wasn't going to harm him. He drew in another breath and looked into her deep purple gaze, his green gold flecked eyes bright. When she asked what he was he gave a surprised look to her and tilted his head. ”I”m a werewolf. Just as you are a shifter. Almost a like but not.” He answered her truthfully because in all honesty he felt no need to lie to her. If she suddenly turned and stabbed him, he would be betrayed but he would die happy. He had no regrets in his life except for not being there for his mother. And that was why he was here. He had heard of both Emily and Fao being here, he knew that they were alive. He was wondering if Clementine knew where they were but he was going to ease into that conversation. For all she knew, he was just a passer-by no one that new.
